I called to make an appointment to have my brows waxed and tint. I asked what for if payment they…read moreaccepted and was told credit card, debit card and cash. When I arrived there were 2 people ahead of me. I waited and then a third customer from out of nowhere sat down to have her browns done. I protested but was told she was seated in the other side of the salon. I let that go. Then 2 other people jumped the line. When it was finally my turn, I explained to the woman that I wanted a medium tint. She said "OK." she removed hair initially with tape. Then, she applied the wax. There had to be a few stubborn hairs which she began to remove with a blade. I told her I didn't want that type of removal; please reapply the wax. She complied. When it came to the tint, while I had requested a medium shade of dye, she applied a very dark shade and totally exaggerated my brows. I expressed my displeasure. When it was time to check out, I was told they ONLY ACCEPTED CASH for those services. I had none and was forced to use a use an out-of-network ATM for an extra service fe fee. I will not be going back to this salon.

Upon my first visit, she gave me a tip to help grow my brows, something I'd been desperately trying to do and my former brow tech hadn't offered. I love the appointment and scheduling process as I like to do things digitally and quickly. Usually, I don't wait anymore than 5-10 minutes to be serviced. Overall, I'm pleased each time I leave the beauty bar. I will say that you may have to give this place a couple of tries before judging it (as with most places). My first visit was a little shaky because the receptionist wasn't the most helpful or welcoming to someone who'd never been in the shop and didn't know how things worked (sign-in vs. not signing in). The funny thing is I have microshading so you only need to clean up around outline, and I requested a "clean up". The person today went deeply into the micro-shaded region and over threaded my brows, leaving me with the tattooed eyebrow look versus the fullness of my natural brows overlapping the shading. I'll have to let them grow a few months to correct this. So, I'm not going to return. The 50/50 chance of having a bad experience is too high for something you wear on your face.
