Hmmm. This is more like 3.5 stars than 4, but I'll go with it…read more First and foremost, Libby is a true lash queen and her work is amazing. My lashes themselves were as full as expected given the price point, lush, and they lasted forever. Her precision is unparalleled and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her as a lash tech. She gets a million stars. So...yeah. The experience was overall pretty good; the cost is, well, not. Lash extensions require maintenance. Regular, solid maintenance. I get that & I'm not at all opposed, but when you're paying 60+ bucks for one fill a month (plus an extra fee for upgraded lashes)? Yeah, that's gonna be a "nope" from me. Keeping in mind that $20 is a reasonable tip for a lash refill...at $100 a month, those lashes best be making me dinner, rubbing my feet, and wrangling my kids. A hundred bucks on lashes EVERY MONTH? Inconceivable. I had lashes on back in 2012 and loved them so, so much. I barely wore eye makeup because I simply didn't need to. Even the most dramatic set Amazing Lash offers still isn't on par with the lashes I rocked in '12. Again, that's not Libby's fault because she did everything beautifully. I didn't get the most souped up lashes they offered, but I did see all the choices. Even the beefiest lashes didn't even come close to my former lash life. You can join the monthly club (note: the aforementioned prices were a result of the "membership benefit") but if you want to cancel--which you can at any time--you do have to go in and sign the form. Not sure I'd go again, tbh. Cost/value analysis says this is maybe not the best bang for your buck. If *you* do go, however, ask for Libby! She's the best of the best, hands down. Sorry, Amazing Lash. Your techs may be amazing, but you fell short overall. 3.5 stars.

(I have it in writing- I wasn't supposed to be billed again until July 2026) And yet, I got billed $179 yesterday. Trying to get my money back has been fruitless and frustrating. There is no corporate office to call and the manager is never in the store. I tried calling again today and when I asked for the name of the owner the girl hung up on me. I was not rude or disrespectful to her, but she was incredibly rude to hang up on me. Avoid this place at all costs.

I am…read morevisiting Orland Park from out of state, and got my first ever set of lash extensions the day before I left (bad idea, I know now). I immediately knew I didn't like them and started panicking about how I was going to last my whole trip with them. I tried making an appointment with a corporate lash studio here in Orland Park to get them off but when I showed up they told me I had to wait at least a week to get them removed. I was heart broken bc I was so eager to be rid of them, and I decided to see if I could find somewhere else that would help. I found Bridget and she saved the day! She was not only kind and understanding, but she got the extensions off no problem and with no damage to my real lashes. The best!

I'd previously posted a review but deleted it, as the owner was upset. In the spirit of writing a…read more"softer review", I'm re-writing it. The only motive I have writing this review (or any) is because I'm a Yelper! Yelp helps consumers make decisions. Here's the deal: Bridget does a great job and is a very caring person. Perhaps if you request a more natural look, you can avoid the results that I experienced. I had my lashes done here for about 10 months. We typically did the volume lash, C-D curl. A volume lash is where a few extensions are layered, resulting in a very beautiful dimensional look. 1 issue with this, is that I'd have to come in frequently for fills. If one little chunk fell out, I'd have a significant gap in my lash line. Biggest issue: I found that my extensions were eventually falling out quicker because my own lashes weakened and were compromised by the weight of the extensions (especially volume lashes). As I've said before, adhering anything false to your lashes is going to compromise them. Sometimes before my fill appts, I'd catch a glimpse of my natural lash. Red flags started going up when I could see my lashes were little pip squeaks underneath. NOW, if you use latisse simultaneously.. this may not be a problem for those who plan to just get extensions done the rest of their lives. But I felt like, hey I get no-chip 95% of the time, but if I didn't want to do it one month or couldn't afford to...at least there's an OPTION to take them off and not have the nails all wonked out. So THEN, I decided to give my lashes a breather. Let the extensions fall off naturally. I planned to do this temporarily and return to Bridget as I loved the extensions. Then: dread set in as I discovered my natural lashes were now very, very short. After a couples months of latisse, they bounced back (thank God). When I got married, I went to a different lash salon for a new set. We chose extensions that were compatible to the weight of my own lashes, to prevent lash loss (or shortening the length of) which is what I experienced at Lash Addict. We chose to do 1 extension to 1 lash. I also liked that my new salon was very sanitary, cleaned them, always used eye pads etc. I was shocked when my fills were now a solid every 3 weeks (never any earlier). I'm not saying that Bridget isn't capable of this. Maybe it's the glue? Who knows, just giving my 2 cents as a past client.

I asked if I could get my eyebrows threaded and tinted, and upper lip done. She then asked rudely if I had an appointment. I asked if I needed one? She said to have a seat but that she was finishing up with someone. I waited and listened to her be so nice to the woman in her chair. When she was fully done with the other woman, she said I could have a seat in the chair. She made sure to let me know it would be $27 for the services. I told her that was fine. She told me it would be better to wax my upper lip rather than thread, I told her that was fine. In the middle of our session another woman walked in. She said she was looking to get her chin, eyebrows, and upper lip threaded. She did not ask her if she had an appointment. She immediately sat her in the chair next to me and finished the woman before coming back to me. She provided no aloe or compress for my upper lip, and the worst part was my EYEBROWS!!! They were huge, unnatural looking, and completely too dark. I gasped when she held up the mirror. I told her I looked scary. She told me some people like them thick.... I told her that I like fullness, but this wasn't even the shape of my brows and again it was way too dark. She said fine and took some solution and attempted to make them thinner. She showed me and even though I was still displeased, I just wanted to get out of there. On the way to the register I asked her if I could pay with card. She rolled her eyes and said I could pay for the service, but I needed to tip her in cash. I said that was fine and I did tip her in cash. I wouldn't take my chances at this place. This woman's attitude was terrible and meanwhile I'm googling how to lighten my brows. Don't waste your time here.

We were the last group of the night and they took their time. Cons: could only work with two of us at a time because it's a small space and they didn't have enough salon chairs & people working for all of us even though it was scheduled in advance. Since they weren't working on all of us at once my friends were cold after having their hair washed and then having to sit and wait. When my friends towel accidentally fell off her head onto the floor, she asked if she could have a new one and the person didn't seem to understand why she was asking for a new towel. The floor was visibly dirty with other people's strands of hair since they hadn't swept before us. That was pretty unprofessional, though she did give her a clean new towel after at first suggesting she could use the same one.

If you've never tried threading, then let me be the one to tell you about the process. My first…read moredisclaimer - I think that waxing is super painful, hence the fact that I was looking for an alternative. I was reading a blog talking about threading and the chick said that the pain level is not much worse on threading vs. waxing. Like the moron that believes everything she reads on the internet, I decided to do it. This blogger either has an enormous pain threshold or I have zero because I thought threading hurt like an absolute B. (I barely made it through the process alive.) She was trying to do my eyebrows, lip and chin and she couldn't get all of my chin because of me squirming. However, she did a fantastic job on my brows and lip. The last time I got it waxed, I was really upset because the girl barely used any wax and ended up plucking most of my brows. Hence, they grew back in a few days. The pro to threading is there was no plucking at all -- all threading -- so I'm expecting this to last a few weeks before they start to grow back. If you're wondering what threading feels like, it's as if someone is pulling your hairs out one by one with a pair of scissors. Waxing is one rip and the pain ends so I find that far easier to endure. Beauty hurts! The lady working was super professional. Usually, the waxers get so impatient with me and start to get an attitude. She never did and I KNOW I squirmed at this 10x worse than my waxing appointments. Also, I noticed that it seemed very sanitary and the booth was immaculate. She gave me clear "after care" instructions and let me know when I'd need to come back. Pro tip: they do take cards, but they prefer the tips to be in cash. For lip and brows, it cost me $16.
