If I could give this place zero stars I would. I had a temporary "hold" on my account for three months so I wouldn't be billed for my lash subscription. (I have it in writing- I wasn't supposed to be billed again until July 2026) And yet, I got billed $179 yesterday. Trying to get my money back has been fruitless and frustrating. There is no corporate office to call and the manager is never in the store. I tried calling again today and when I asked for the name of the owner the girl hung up on me. I was not rude or disrespectful to her, but she was incredibly rude to hang up on me. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

I really wanted it to improve at this location. I stopped going for an extended amount of time and visited another lash spa down the street "lash and brow hause". Now when I decided to first return to this location they gave me a newbie that was horrible. She kept tearing the tape, couldn't get lashes to stick...I warranted everything as she's new. I went and got them touched up two days later at Lincoln park with no discounts or apologies. I then made the mistake of going on vacation and coming back booking a full set out here. I showed pictures of my expectations and was promised that could be delivered. I spent 90 minutes and paid $315 prior to tip for mega volume and master fees for my eyes to look like the picture posted. I told my stylist Kassandra I hated them and informed the front desk, Celeste, my lashes weren't worth the price. It wasn't until I asked to speak to the manager that still isn't on site, Desiree, that Celeste offered to put me down for an adjustment. My eyelashes still look terrible and I've spent $400+ in the past week on them read more

I had lashes done by Gia it took 2 1/2 hours for her to do a full set. I also want to talk about how unprofessional she was she did not wear gloves the room was dirty with rips in the pillow and table eyelashes all over the table and she poked me really hard in the face with her nail. I also want to talk about the pads she put under my eyes gave me a reaction with itching and irritation go elsewhere!!!! I want to also point out she left the door to her room open the entire time when my service was in session. I spent $100 for my lashes to completely fall off in 3 days. read more

Horrible desk staff at this location. I am no longer a customer as of today due to that employee. I love the lash stylist, but due to the way I was treated I will no longer be giving m y business to this location. That person needs to be restrained in how to talk to people. If they hate what they are doing so much they need to go get another job else where and not put their miserable attitude on customers. The service I received from a higher skilled professional $20. More, was not what I expected. Henderson did not put the right size lashes towards both my inner eye lids. Too long which cause my lashes to fall out. I didn't need a complete refill only a few lashes on each eye. $60 for that. Forget it! Pushing a complete refill $99. NO WAY! This place is a rip off! Bad Customer Service! read more

please do not waste your money at this location. my first and last time ever visiting. i scheduled a lash & tint + brow & tint. my eyebrows were so poorly done, there was so much more hair left. i requested for at least some tweezers and they said they do not have any. there was so much residue left on my eyelid from the eyelash tint and glue, the girl said she wasn't able to remove it and tried everything. i asked for alcohol pads and removed it myself so easily. i requested a manager, the receptionist stated no one is available until in a week. i left crying because how bad it was. read more

The lash lift and tint was a complete disaster , I expressed my concern immediately after the session but they kept giving me excuses and never to admit that the work was done very poorly . No one answers the phone ever by the way and never call back . They only focused on the payment not that work was done very poorly . My advice is to take your money somewhere else . I will never come back here again !!!! read more

I got a lash lift and tint. First off my lady was late to my appointment. Second off, a lash lift isn't supposed to burn as my lady told me, that was a lie it burnt the whole time. I open my eyes when i'm done and walk out the little room and i cannot see out of my eye. It was burning like crazy i was tearing up so much and my eyes were red. It looked like i had drenched my eye with lube and it was just messy. Thord off i still have glue on my skin around my eye, she couldn't take it off and left me like that. She did such a sloppy job and I would never come back to Jessica. My eyes don't even look like they have a lash lift on it or even a tint so I wasted my money for no reason. read more

I have been going to Amazing Lash for over a year now. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE my Master Stylist, Evelyn. She is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! Not only is she the coldest at lash extensions, but she's also kind, professional, and just has great energy all around. It's a pleasure to see her every 2 weeks. I have to book ahead cuz she does book fast! I can say with my many lash salon experiences (I've had some horror stories), Amazing Lash is by far the best, most sanitary, professional lash salon I have ever been to, and Evelyn takes it to another level. I would highly highly recommend Amazing Lash Orland and Evelyn! read more

I give it two stars . Here's why! I spent my money here and the welcoming feeling from the lash tech wasn't there. I was with (hope I spelled her name correctly) Tarnesa , she was pilot but seemed bothered when I asked what kind of style she was doing , she different provide examples or customize look like they advertised , even though we discussed it she was very hard to get feedback from, She's a master and what I think provide excellent customer experience but we're expected to tip 20 plus bucks for a full set , if we don't these techs will talk to each other about you being a bad tipper but don't realize some of there customer service skills lake . This location needs to do better . It's ashame the front desk girls are more nicer than the actual techs . This place needs work read more

Nothing Amazing about this business!!! I got an eye infection on my lasher right after my first appointment. I called them to let them know and they said to take Benedryl. After a few days, I went to see my eye dr. because my eye swelled up. My Dr. said that it looked like something dirty was used on my eye. Wait it gets worst. I had signed up for a membership and when I tried canceling my membership Amazing Lash said that I could put this on hold for a while. I went ahead and put it on hold for six months. After six months I tried canceling because they kept charging me $139.00. I've been going back and forth with them and my bank disputing the charges for services that I did not get. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS~ They are dirty and unprofessional. NEVER AGAIN read more

Hmmm. This is more like 3.5 stars than 4, but I'll go with it. First and foremost, Libby is a true lash queen and her work is amazing. My lashes themselves were as full as expected given the price point, lush, and they lasted forever. Her precision is unparalleled and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her as a lash tech. She gets a million stars. So...yeah. The experience was overall pretty good; the cost is, well, not. Lash extensions require maintenance. Regular, solid maintenance. I get that & I'm not at all opposed, but when you're paying 60+ bucks for one fill a month (plus an extra fee for upgraded lashes)? Yeah, that's gonna be a "nope" from me. Keeping in mind that $20 is a reasonable tip for a lash refill...at $100 a month, those lashes best be making me dinner, rubbing my feet, and wrangling my kids. A hundred bucks on lashes EVERY MONTH? Inconceivable. I had lashes on back in 2012 and loved them so, so much. I barely wore eye makeup because I simply didn't need to. Even the most dramatic set Amazing Lash offers still isn't on par with the lashes I rocked in '12. Again, that's not Libby's fault because she did everything beautifully. I didn't get the most souped up lashes they offered, but I did see all the choices. Even the beefiest lashes didn't even come close to my former lash life. You can join the monthly club (note: the aforementioned prices were a result of the "membership benefit") but if you want to cancel--which you can at any time--you do have to go in and sign the form. Not sure I'd go again, tbh. Cost/value analysis says this is maybe not the best bang for your buck. If *you* do go, however, ask for Libby! She's the best of the best, hands down. Sorry, Amazing Lash. Your techs may be amazing, but you fell short overall. 3.5 stars. read more

Short - the worst of the worst!!!! I would never ever recommend this place!!! There's is not enough room to describe everything. Leaving another review because the fact that this studio is trying to argue over yelp kills me. Like I stated in my review below, I made an appt as soon as I got back from Tennessee. (My work trip) As told to the manager also. I actually got a spray tan prior to going there. Even if I got it after, lashes shouldn't be falling out hours after getting lashes done that cost $200. I did not have 50% of my lashes left. Thanks for telling your side of the story though to try and make the studio look better. Fortunately I won't ever go back and I hope this place goes out of business. TOTAL RIP OFF. read more

Cassie! The best! I LOVE my lashes- she did the most BEAUTIFUL job on giving me natural and comfortable eyelashes! My eyelashes look naturally dark, curly and longer. This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I literally cannot express enough how wonderful they look, and how much she listened to give me what I was looking for. read more

First off, it's expensive and the quality of lashes are not worth it. Came here twice, the first time Ray did a full set and while I liked the look of the lashes, they didn't last that long. I lost so many lashes within 10 days and when I called they said it was too late to do a mini fill. They scheduled me for an entire week later with a different tech who was pretty much palming my head and resting her arm on my forehead throughout the appointment. Just very uncomfortable! I've worn lashes for years and it was just weird, never had them applied like that. Also, I don't like the way she did my lashes. I paid $120 + for a fill and I have spaces that are missing lashes. I don't mind paying for quality but these are definitely not worth the prices they charge. read more

my stylist was super nice and i enjoyed my time there but i was not happy with my service. when i was driving home one of the lashes already started poking me and i decided to leave it and brush it out when i got home. i followed all the directions and instructions i was given yet my right eye looks like it needs a fill already and its been exactly one week. i got hybrid and payed extra for it expecting it to last longer and im very disappointed that one of my eyes looks full while the other looks very bad. i called and told them my stylist, which she did, said to call and inform them if i had any issues or they didn't last longer than they were supposed to (2-3 weeks) and that they would fix it. i was told i could pay for a fill, which i am not looking to do after i already paid 99+45 for the hybrid and it only looked good for 4-5 days. a family member recommended and im really disappointed i wasn't happy as this was for prom and its such a pricey service. the only option i was given was to pay for a fill. read more

I went to amazing lash a few years ago when they first opened, and I was completely satisfied. I went a few days ago, and was shocked at the prices! $170 for an introductory session? Way too expensive! Then, not even 48 hours later, half of my lashes fell out on one eye. I booked an adjustment appointment and notified the front desk I might be late due to traffic. They told me that there was a 15 minute grace period, which I was fine with. I made it within that grace period just to be told that there's no grace period and to book another appointment. At least that's what I got from it because the manager Gabby kept saying "like" every 2 words. I'm a manager, so I know good customer service and Gabby is NOT it. I'll get it adjusted, but after that, I'm letting them all come out and I'm going somewhere else. This isn't the same place when it first opened. read more

DO NOT Use Amazing Lash Studios...They are a very fraudulent company! If you prepay for services and later decide you no longer want lash extensions or you can't get them (for whatever reason... you're moving, you don't have the time) they WILL NOT refund your money!!! Also, if you pay to have your lashes touched up (filled in) at another salon (that's not Amazing Lash) because you can't get to one of their salons... they will require you to have all of your lashes removed (at a fee) and then charge you for a complete full set of lashes. What a ripoff! Instead of just charging you for the lashes you need. Such a scam! I went to Florida and went to a private salon to have my lashes filled in, the Florida salon had no problem working with the extensions that I already had, so why the heck can't Amazing Lash do the same?! And, this (Orland Park) salon had me on hold for a long time and then hung up on me (when I asked to speak to a manager). Very unprofessional. read more

BUYER BEWARE: Go anywhere but here! I really gave this place a fair chance. Time and time again they let me down. I tried their membership for 6 months. The first session, the lashes didn't last more than 2 weeks. They were itchy and irritated. So I came in for a "fix" free of charge. Those lashes were better. But the scheduling is always messed up!!! I had the final straw and cancelled my shitty membership after this. I scheduled a FULL SET of volumes. They couldn't do volumes the session before because the artist was not experienced enough to do them. Fine, okay. So I scheduled in person a FULL SET OF VOLUMES for my next visit. The day of my appointment I left work early to arrive on time, but they turned me away and said they didn't have time to do a full set. Even though they had a cancellation and asked me to come in earlier than my scheduled appointment time. I arrived a half hour early to be turned away! Now there is no availability at this location or another close by before my wedding on Saturday. I am stuck paying for a useless month membership and the girl at the front desk was unable to help. You'd be better off spending your money at a nail salon getting bouje lash extensions than going to this place! read more

I've been going here to get my lashes done for about 2 months now and I'm absolutely addicted. They look so natural but you can't feel any extra weight on your eyelids. I strongly suggest you book with Kim, she is my favorite lash stylist, she's really careful with her application, making sure you're totally comfortable, and I get the best results with her. If this is your first time getting eyelash extensions don't open your eyes at all until your stylist gives you the clear. Oh and wash your hair before your appointment too, because you need to avoid getting your new lashes wet for 48 hours and not having to wash your hair makes that easier. The place is super clean, and you get to lay down with a warm plush blanket and forget about the rest of the world for a few hours. read more

My first appointment in August 2016, was on a Saturday with Gwen? and cost $79 with $20 tip. The lashes were not installed complete and I had to return two days later for a free correction with Cassie and left a $20 tip. After the correction, I started the membership. I've had the monthly membership ($59) several months now and they have changed the rules a few times since I've been going. On another experience, I had my lashes installed on a Sunday in November and called back a few days later that week to schedule a retouch for the following Sunday, seven days later. They scheduled me for a $59 refill instead of the $30 retouch and I had to pay the $59, since I had used my monthly membership ($59) seven days earlier (yes, $118 in 8 days and I always tip). I hadn't lost many lashes, I just wanted to retouch and enhance what I had. Whoever scheduled the appointment should have saw that I was just there a few days prior, but they said I had to pay for the refill. On another appointment (January 2017) with Ashley was a good experience. But after a few appointments and her knowing that I normally fall asleep, she did not perform her services. I went in for my refill with Ashley on Feb 25th, I discussed with her about going out of town and my lash goal. With her advice, I scheduled a retouch for week later March 4th, at that appointment she told me I needed a refill (trying to up sale again), I said I was just here last week and remember I have an appointment with you for a refill on Wednesday March 8th. During this appointment, she started with my right eye. Then she stopped working. I waited for her to start the left eye, but nothing. At least 10 minutes passed. She removed the tape and silicone. She never did anything to the left eye and when I mentioned it, she lied and said I was sleep. She assumed I was sleep, but I was not. She was on her phone. I had another appointment coming up days later, on March 8th with her and tried to change it, but none were available. So, I did see Ashley again on March 8th. I scheduled my next appointment with Shannon for March 28th. The appointment went well, besides her having a cold and breathing on me. I scheduled again with Shannon for Saturday April 15th (day before Easter). This time while she was working on the refill, my eyes started itching. After the install, my eyes were itchy, watery and red. Later that evening my eyes began to swell. It was too late to call, and they were closed Sunday for Easter. I could not attend any of my scheduled functions. So, I started documenting the swelling, drooping, watering, redness and dark scaly eyelid skin every day. I took a vacation day on Monday April 17th to see doctor because my eyes were still inflamed, watering, itching and the lids had darkened. I also called "amazing lashes" on Monday to complain, I spoke to the assistant manager Nicole. I told her my situation, and about my doctor's appointment and she stated she would cancel my membership. She also said she can get me in to have the lashes removed the next day, I told her I had to keep cold compresses on my eyes and most of the lashes were already off. I told her that my eyes were drooping, itching, watering and darkened and I wanted a refund for that appointment and no additional charges for the membership going further. She (Nicole) agreed and said she would take care of it. I called several times to speak to Nicole or manager Melisa to confirm that everything was cared for, but was told by Jodi they were not in and she would have the manager Melisa to return my call. I have never received a call from anyone. My doctor said it was an allergic reaction to the glue, a bacterial reaction to unclean equipment or both. The reaction happened on April 15th and my eye was drooping, swollen, skin darkened and scaly for over two weeks. Months later my eye is still darker (I documented the ordeal with pictures). UPDATE: I never received a call back. I have NOT received a refund for the lashes that gave me the reaction in April. My membership was not cancelled by the assistant manager Nicole like she said. Membership fees are still being deducted (April - August). When I called recently about my account, Jodi said Nicole was gone for the day and Melisa was not in (as usual). Jodi also said I would have to come in to do some paperwork to cancel my account. I asked why no one told me this before. Now I must find time to go into the facility to care for the cancellation, what I assumed Nicole cared for. I'm requesting a refund of fees for April thru August and praying for this to be over. I will update. read more

I give this studio because they had me come back for a 30 min TOUCH UP. HOWEVER I paid 170 for my lashes the SAME NIGHT I had lashes fall on my cheek while simply watching tv. I called soon as they opened and a lovely representative stated that it should not happen and will book me the touch up ; this time I requested a master. Before the appt I decided to look at my lashes and NOTICED that my lashes were not all lashed. I wasn't to happy with them cause they were thick how I thought they would be however my back was hurting and I couldn't handle it any longer so I didn't want to lay back down . However didn't expect them to FALL OFF the same night. Meet with the master for the touch up . Guess what ? I was right it was confirmed she did NOT lash ALL my lashes I did NOT what I paid for and the poor lash tech the master who fixed the last tech issues did all she could to help BUT told me to come back WITHIN A WEEK ALREADY cause my lashes weren't all lashed. I asked to speak with the manager Cassie , she stated I came in for a touch up, however I told her that i was told I need to make another appt already within a week when I just got my lashes done the previous day! She stated everyone lashes are different . Like sweetheart I got my lashes done the previous day , clearly it is not my fault I have had my lashes done before never had this issue . I really wanted this membership but the service and adidtude from Cassie I completely changed my mind and told those who asked about my lashes the experienced I had. Thanks to the representative that understood & the master tech that helped! I wasn't trying to scam no one out of a lashes I just wanted my money worth and the 30 min touch it was not enough . I felt terrible and a week later I don't even have most of my lashes like I was told would happen . I spent my money and tipped and this is what I received. Do not bother keep shopping around for someone else and it's like they're limited to their own style of lashes like this lash techs can't put their own flare / style . Soemthing seems weird here! I had an appointment for a lash lift that I made around a month ago, and it was canceled on me last minute. The person who called to let me know didn't seem to care. I couldn't just reschedule because I'm leaving for vacation, and since They waited until friday afternoon a few hours before my scheduled appointment, it was impossible to find anywhere else to go. **Update: Amazing Lash replied to this review stating they would like to know more about my experience and messaged me. I never heard back after that message (2 weeks later) and even reached out to them on Facebook, too. This is no way to do business, and it's a bad example of customer service. I am more than happy to take my money elsewhere for better service and experience. Original Review: I am not sure I will be returning to this franchise. I've had lashes done at other places in Chicago but moved closer to this area. My lashes look very pretty, but they are painful. Both of my eyes are still red (2 days after application) because something kept getting in them during the application (not sure what). They hurt when I close my eyes tightly which is not something I've experienced with lash extensions before. I was also not happy about how pushy the sales people are in the front with the products and membership. I denied the membership but kept getting asked if I was sure and had all the "benefits" pointed out. I felt as though they were worried I wouldn't return. The studio is nice and clean, and it seems like most of the people who wrote reviews did not have this experience. I'm giving 3 stars for the look of my lashes and the studio itself. read more

I want to say that I had a great experience with removing my lash extension for the first time. Usually I remove them myself. I went to get some lash extensions in a nail salon and I ended up with some irritation that it made me super anxious to remove them, I tried removing them myself with baby oil and it was impossible because of how much glue I had on my lashes. I got desperate and I just could not deal w the irritation, so I started to search for lash places near me and I was given this location (Amazing lashes) which I read the reviews and the reviews convince me to call an make an appointment, so I called and made an apt w Robin which was super sweet over the phone, also Kiara in the front desk was super sweet, and Libby who removed my lashes which made me feel super comfortable, I know now that I rather get my lash extensions professionally done, and this for sure would be the place to go. Thank you Robin, Kiara and Libby. I appreciate it and thank you because now I am relieved from the irritation that I experienced from another salon which I'm sure were not profesional and I blame myself for that. Thank you and God bless you guys. Sincerely; Luz Vale read more

I wish I can give them negative 5 stars. Very unprofessional. The quality of their technicians are very inconsistent. There is no flexibility at all. You will get a million calls to make sure you come in for your services on time, they turn you away when you are 2 minutes late, but when they want to cancel you, they don't care about your schedule at all. So I had a HORRIFIC experience with the Amazing Lash studio and its Owner in Lincoln Park Chicago location. The Regional (Terry) heard about my experience and immediately reached out to me to fix the problem. The owner Rudy of this location called me to schedule me an appointment to fix my lashes & Lanisa my tech did a fabulous job on my lashes. This place was absolutely amazing. The entire staff including Quinn the receptionist was EXTREMELY professional, accommodating, and very considerate. Though my experience with Lakeview was Polar opposite, this facility totally changed my mind and expectations of Amazing Lashes and raised the bar of professionalism and customer service to a whole other level. I have the membership and can't I'm in love with my Lashes. I look forward to my long journey with them I COMPLETELY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE WHO IS LOOKING FOR A LASH SPOT!!! read more

I came to Amazing Lash Studio to get what I thought were great lash extensions. I was told the person who did them was highly recommended. I didn't have them in long enough. I did everything I was told, including washing my lashes every day. The directions on the foaming cleanser said to "gently pull through roots of lashes with cleanser and rinse with cool water," which I also did. I started noticing that two days after I did them, my lashes fell out and more fell out soon after. My lashes were not in a whole week before they ALL fell out. I know this because the stylist who was supposed to do my fill in on Sunday (September 24th), said there were no lash extensions for her to fill in. I was told that I would have to get a replacement full set, as she wasn't sure the exact reason as to why all of them had fallen out. I rescheduled for two weeks from yesterday and I will get to use the fill in as the replacement full set, but I should not be getting these done over, especially when I was guaranteed they would last through my first fill in. I followed all the directions that I was given, even letting my aesthetician know what I had, so that she wouldn't use steam on my face (I know that would loosen the adhesive). I'm giving it one more chance, but I am real disappointed that I have paid out $150 and have nothing to show for it. read more
