Hmmm. This is more like 3.5 stars than 4, but I'll go with it. First and foremost, Libby is a true lash queen and her work is amazing. My lashes themselves were as full as expected given the price point, lush, and they lasted forever. Her precision is unparalleled and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her as a lash tech. She gets a million stars. So...yeah. The experience was overall pretty good; the cost is, well, not. Lash extensions require maintenance. Regular, solid maintenance. I get that & I'm not at all opposed, but when you're paying 60+ bucks for one fill a month (plus an extra fee for upgraded lashes)? Yeah, that's gonna be a "nope" from me. Keeping in mind that $20 is a reasonable tip for a lash refill...at $100 a month, those lashes best be making me dinner, rubbing my feet, and wrangling my kids. A hundred bucks on lashes EVERY MONTH? Inconceivable. I had lashes on back in 2012 and loved them so, so much. I barely wore eye makeup because I simply didn't need to. Even the most dramatic set Amazing Lash offers still isn't on par with the lashes I rocked in '12. Again, that's not Libby's fault because she did everything beautifully. I didn't get the most souped up lashes they offered, but I did see all the choices. Even the beefiest lashes didn't even come close to my former lash life. You can join the monthly club (note: the aforementioned prices were a result of the "membership benefit") but if you want to cancel--which you can at any time--you do have to go in and sign the form. Not sure I'd go again, tbh. Cost/value analysis says this is maybe not the best bang for your buck. If *you* do go, however, ask for Libby! She's the best of the best, hands down. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I had a temporary "hold" on my account for three months so I wouldn't be billed for my lash subscription. (I have it in writing- I wasn't supposed to be billed again until July 2026) And yet, I got billed $179 yesterday. Trying to get my money back has been fruitless and frustrating. There is no corporate office to call and the manager is never in the store. I tried calling again today and when I asked for the name of the owner the girl hung up on me. I really wanted it to improve at this location. I stopped going for an extended amount of time and visited another lash spa down the street "lash and brow hause". Now when I decided to first return to this location they gave me a newbie that was horrible. She kept tearing the tape, couldn't get lashes to stick...I warranted everything as she's new. I went and got them touched up two days later at Lincoln park with no discounts or apologies. I then made the mistake of going on vacation and coming back booking a full set out here. I showed pictures of my expectations and was promised that could be delivered. I spent 90 minutes and paid $315 prior to tip for mega volume and master fees for my eyes to look like the picture posted. my stylist was super nice and i enjoyed my time there but i was not happy with my service. when i was driving home one of the lashes already started poking me and i decided to leave it and brush it out when i got home. i followed all the directions and instructions i was given yet my right eye looks like it needs a fill already and its been exactly one week. i got hybrid and payed extra for it expecting it to last longer and im very disappointed that one of my eyes looks full while the other looks very bad. i called and told them my stylist, which she did, said to call and inform them if i had any issues or they didn't last longer than they were supposed to (2-3 weeks) and that they would fix it. i was told i could pay for a fill, which i am not looking to do after i already paid 99+45 for the hybrid and it only looked good for 4-5 days. a family member recommended and im really disappointed i wasn't happy as this was for prom and its such a pricey service. the only option i was given was to pay for a fill. read more

First off, it's expensive and the quality of lashes are not worth it. Came here twice, the first time Ray did a full set and while I liked the look of the lashes, they didn't last that long. I lost so many lashes within 10 days and when I called they said it was too late to do a mini fill. They scheduled me for an entire week later with a different tech who was pretty much palming my head and resting her arm on my forehead throughout the appointment. Just very uncomfortable! I've worn lashes for years and it was just weird, never had them applied like that. Also, I don't like the way she did my lashes. I paid $120 + for a fill and I have spaces that are missing lashes. I went to amazing lash a few years ago when they first opened, and I was completely satisfied. I went a few days ago, and was shocked at the prices! $170 for an introductory session? Way too expensive! Then, not even 48 hours later, half of my lashes fell out on one eye. I booked an adjustment appointment and notified the front desk I might be late due to traffic. They told me that there was a 15 minute grace period, which I was fine with. I made it within that grace period just to be told that there's no grace period and to book another appointment. At least that's what I got from it because the manager Gabby kept saying "like" every 2 words. I'm a manager, so I know good customer service and Gabby is NOT it. DO NOT Use Amazing Lash Studios...They are a very fraudulent company! If you prepay for services and later decide you no longer want lash extensions or you can't get them (for whatever reason... you're moving, you don't have the time) they WILL NOT refund your money!!! Also, if you pay to have your lashes touched up (filled in) at another salon (that's not Amazing Lash) because you can't get to one of their salons... they will require you to have all of your lashes removed (at a fee) and then charge you for a complete full set of lashes. I went to Florida and went to a private salon to have my lashes filled in, the Florida salon had no problem working with the extensions that I already had, so why the heck can't Amazing Lash do the same?! BUYER BEWARE: Go anywhere but here! I really gave this place a fair chance. Time and time again they let me down. I tried their membership for 6 months. The first session, the lashes didn't last more than 2 weeks. They were itchy and irritated. So I came in for a "fix" free of charge. Those lashes were better. But the scheduling is always messed up!!! I had the final straw and cancelled my shitty membership after this. I scheduled a FULL SET of volumes. They couldn't do volumes the session before because the artist was not experienced enough to do them. Fine, okay. So I scheduled in person a FULL SET OF VOLUMES for my next visit. The day of my appointment I left work early to arrive on time, but they turned me away and said they didn't have time to do a full set. I've been going here to get my lashes done for about 2 months now and I'm absolutely addicted. They look so natural but you can't feel any extra weight on your eyelids. I strongly suggest you book with Kim, she is my favorite lash stylist, she's really careful with her application,making sure you're totally comfortable, and I get the best results with her. If this is your first time getting eyelash extensions don't open your eyes at all until your stylist gives you the clear. Oh and wash your hair before your appointment too, because you need to avoid getting your new lashes wet for 48 hours and not having to wash your hair makes that easier. My first appointment in August 2016, was on a Saturday with Gwen? and cost $79 with $20 tip. The lashes were not installed complete and I had to return two days later for a free correction with Cassie and left a $20 tip. After the correction, I started the membership. I've had the monthly membership ($59) several months now and they have changed the rules a few times since I've been going. On another experience, I had my lashes installed on a Sunday in November and called back a few days later that week to schedule a retouch for the following Sunday, seven days later. They scheduled me for a $59 refill instead of the $30 retouch and I had to pay the $59, since I had used my monthly membership ($59) seven days earlier (yes, $118 in 8 days and I always tip). I hadn't lost many lashes, I just wanted to retouch and enhance what I had. Whoever scheduled the appointment should have saw that I was just there a few days prior, but they said I had to pay for the refill. On another appointment (January 2017) with Ashley was a good experience. But after a few appointments and her knowing that I normally fall asleep, she did not perform her services. I went in for my refill with Ashley on Feb 25th, I discussed with her about going out of town and my lash goal. With her advice, I scheduled a retouch for week later March 4th, at that appointment she told me I needed a refill (trying to up sale again), I said I was just here last week and remember I have an appointment with you for a refill on Wednesday March 8th. During this appointment, she started with my right eye. Then she stopped working. I waited for her to start the left eye, but nothing. At least 10 minutes passed. She removed the tape and silicone. She never did anything to the left eye and when I mentioned it, she lied and said I was sleep. She assumed I was sleep, but I was not. She was on her phone. I had another appointment coming up days later, on March 8th with her and tried to change it, but none were available. So, I did see Ashley again on March 8th. I scheduled my next appointment with Shannon for March 28th. The appointment went well, besides her having a cold and breathing on me. I scheduled again with Shannon for Saturday April 15th (day before Easter). This time while she was working on the refill, my eyes started itching. After the install, my eyes were itchy, watery and red. Later that evening my eyes began to swell. It was too late to call, and they were closed Sunday for Easter. I could not attend any of my scheduled functions. So, I started documenting the swelling, drooping, watering, redness and dark scaly eyelid skin every day. I took a vacation day on Monday April 17th to see doctor because my eyes were still inflamed, watering, itching and the lids had darkened. I also called "amazing lashes" on Monday to complain, I spoke to the assistant manager Nicole. I told her my situation, and about my doctor's appointment and she stated she would cancel my membership. She also said she can get me in to have the lashes removed the next day, I told her I had to keep cold compresses on my eyes and most of the lashes were already off. I told her that my eyes were drooping, itching, watering and darkened and I wanted a refund for that appointment and no additional charges for the membership going further. She (Nicole) agreed and said she would take care of it. I called several times to speak to Nicole or manager Melisa to confirm that everything was cared for, but was told by Jodi they were not in and she would have the manager Melisa to return my call. I have never received a call from anyone. My doctor said it was an allergic reaction to the glue, a bacterial reaction to unclean equipment or both. The reaction happened on April 15th and my eye was drooping, swollen, skin darkened and scaly for over two weeks. Months later my eye is still darker (I documented the ordeal with pictures). UPDATE: I never received a call back. I have NOT received a refund for the lashes that gave me the reaction in April. My membership was not cancelled by the assistant manager Nicole like she said. Membership fees are still being deducted (April - August). When I called recently about my account, Jodi said Nicole was gone for the day and Melisa was not in (as usual). Jodi also said I would have to come in to do some paperwork to cancel my account. I asked why no one told me this before. Now I must find time to go into the facility to care for the cancellation, what I assumed Nicole cared for. I'm requesting a refund of fees for April thru August and praying for this to be over. I couldn't just reschedule because I'm leaving for vacation, and since They waited until friday afternoon a few hours before my scheduled appointment, it was impossible to find anywhere else to go. I want to say that I had a great experience with removing my lash extension for the first time. Usually I remove them myself. I went to get some lash extensions in a nail salon and I ended up with some irritation that it made me super anxious to remove them, I tried removing them myself with baby oil and it was impossible because of how much glue I had on my lashes. The entire staff including Quinn the receptionist was EXTREMELY professional, accommodating, and very considerate. Though my experience with Lakeview was Polar opposite, this facility totally changed my mind and expectations of Amazing Lashes and raised the bar of professionalism and customer service to a whole other level. I came to Amazing Lash Studio to get what I thought were great lash extensions. I was told the person who did them was highly recommended. I didn't have them in long enough. I did everything I was told, including washing my lashes every day. The directions on the foaming cleanser said to "gently pull through roots of lashes with cleanser and rinse with cool water," which I also did. I started noticing that two days after I did them, my lashes fell out and more fell out soon after. My lashes were not in a whole week before they ALL fell out. I know this because the stylist who was supposed to do my fill in on Sunday (September 24th), said there were no lash extensions for her to fill in. I was told that I would have to get a replacement full set, as she wasn't sure the exact reason as to why all of them had fallen out. I rescheduled for two weeks from yesterday and I will get to use the fill in as the replacement full set, but I should not be getting these done over, especially when I was guaranteed they would last through my first fill in. I followed all the directions that I was given, even letting my aesthetician know what I had, so that she wouldn't use steam on my face (I know that would loosen the adhesive).
