(: I was searching for a place to go quickly on such short notice since I myself am leaving for vacation in a couple of days & I came across this lounge, who not only took me luckily very last minute but was very sweet & informative when inquiring about their services! I booked an eyebrow threading & lip wax with Shay. She was SO sweet & took her time! She even gave me a very relaxing facial gua sha massage & put me on to their vegan brow gel that made my eyebrows almost looked laminated in itself! I will definitely be a regular customer now! The lounge was very neat & had so much cute items to look at/purchase, I will be definitely be buying more next appointment! The reviews & pictures of their brow services are what mainly sold me to come here as well & I was not disappointed. On a side note, they had parking in the front & back of the lounge as well, which was a plus.

Sometimes great and sometimes terrible, it just depends on who you get. Unfortunately today was one…read moreof the terrible ones and my eyebrows were threaded far too much. The funny thing is I have microshading so you only need to clean up around outline, and I requested a "clean up". The person today went deeply into the micro-shaded region and over threaded my brows, leaving me with the tattooed eyebrow look versus the fullness of my natural brows overlapping the shading. I'll have to let them grow a few months to correct this. So, I'm not going to return. The 50/50 chance of having a bad experience is too high for something you wear on your face.

Please DO NOT come here. They are so unprofessional and rude. I booked online to get my…read morebrows/lashes done and the agreed price was $39 and I was going to add a $8 tip. When I came in I confirmed this again and the owner (I assume) agreed. She started with treading my brows, and It hurt more than it ever had and i was bleeding. She then tinted them and left marks from the tint way over my brows, leaving me looking a mess!! Then when it was time to do my lashes, she refused to do the style I wanted and did her own thing. Not only did she put them on wrong, SHE GLUED THEM TO MY EYE LIDS. It hurt very much after and it didn't look good, and when I brought it up she snapped at me! She did apologize but it was not genuine. Also just know before hand, they do not do lash extensions like everyone else, THEY DO LASH CLUSTERS ONLY which is much cheaper and less professional than extensions. Then when it was finally time to pay, I have her the $39 and she then said it was not $39 and in fact was going to be $45 even though that is not what I booked. I told her that isnt what we agreed and she told me that they had changed their pricing. They did not change it on their booking website and she dis not tell me before hand. After my appointment, I had scabs under my brows, my eyelids were hurting and swollen, and I had waisted $45. DO NOT GO HERE IT IS A SCAM AND THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL, UNSANITARY, AND RUDE.

Upon my first visit, she gave me a tip to help grow my brows, something I'd been desperately trying to do and my former brow tech hadn't offered. I love the appointment and scheduling process as I like to do things digitally and quickly. Usually, I don't wait anymore than 5-10 minutes to be serviced. Overall, I'm pleased each time I leave the beauty bar. I will say that you may have to give this place a couple of tries before judging it (as with most places). My first visit was a little shaky because the receptionist wasn't the most helpful or welcoming to someone who'd never been in the shop and didn't know how things worked (sign-in vs. not signing in). Bottom line: Unless things changed, Tasha will be the ONLY person to do these brows!

My experience here with Kushi was good overall. Prices are fine however, they more like break the…read morehairs rather than rip the hair from the root, which results in faster hair growth as if you've shaved. And you have to ask them to go back and remove certain spots that they couldn't see of hair left. I feel like as a waxer it's your job to do that and catch that. 2. I find that the younger woman who works with them is very entitled and has an attitude. She walked in on me undressed when she wasn't my waxer because she needed the waxing cart for her client in the room next door. NOT OKAY. I wish I didn't tip. I booked with Kushi again for this month. I showed up on time for my appointment. Kushi was not there. The two girls were not aware of an appointment and were not expecting me. When I asked for Kushi and they saw I was disappointed about her not being there when I specifically booked with her for wax... the younger woman again said something in her language to the other lady about me and that's when they acted like there was no appointment. I went in regardless thought I'd give someone new a try. The wax bottles were not melted at all. We barely did a like 3 strips and she asked to let the wax melt..... I wasn't going to wait and I just felt very annoyed and disappointed. Unprofessional to say the least. I'll never be coming here again. And yes the wax bottles are shared between clients so unsanitary.

It was my first time here yesterday evening. I need to get a few services done before my trip this…read moreweekend. I love that they offer (soft and hard) waxing and threading. They make it easy for you to book online through Square. They did a really good job with threading my eyebrows, lip, chin and neck. I love that it's precise, and she listened to my needs with my eyebrows. They have plenty of free parking on premise, and they also have a punch card. Onto my issues: 1) they do not wear gloves whatsoever for waxing services on your stomach, butt etc. I get it if they don't for face services, but in my experience at any facility that does hair removal, this is the first time where someone did not wear gloves. Yes, she did hand sanitize but it kind of irks me in terms of sanitation. Knock on wood I haven't caught anything yet, and they did get the job done though. I just won't be back for body services because of this. 2) it was one person working there the entire time. I made an appointment, and she was expecting me but there was still a bit of a wait as they take walk-ins as well and I was running a few minutes behind. 3) she would not stop upselling me. I get it - I have been a sales rep before, but it's a problem when I tell you multiple times that I am not interested. I am also not someone who came in for just an eyebrow. What is also interesting to me is that the other people around me who only got an eyebrow service was not upsold. TLDR; I'd be back for facial threading services exclusively, and it is the only thing here that I can recommend to others, unless you are ok with someone touching your body and private areas without gloves.
