When I came in I confirmed this again and the owner (I assume) agreed. She started with treading my brows, and It hurt more than it ever had and i was bleeding. She then tinted them and left marks from the tint way over my brows, leaving me looking a mess!! Then when it was time to do my lashes, she refused to do the style I wanted and did her own thing. Not only did she put them on wrong, SHE GLUED THEM TO MY EYE LIDS. It hurt very much after and it didn't look good, and when I brought it up she snapped at me! She did apologize but it was not genuine. Also just know before hand, they do not do lash extensions like everyone else, THEY DO LASH CLUSTERS ONLY which is much cheaper and less professional than extensions. Then when it was finally time to pay, I have her the $39 and she then said it was not $39 and in fact was going to be $45 even though that is not what I booked. I told her that isnt what we agreed and she told me that they had changed their pricing. They did not change it on their booking website and she dis not tell me before hand. In my opinion, the environment is not conducive to professional hair artistry. The owner is extremely controlling and utilizes surveillance cameras to monitor staff and client conversations, which creates a high-pressure and uncomfortable atmosphere. Throughout my time there, I observed highly erratic management behaviors and a preoccupation with nitpicking with clients over cheap furniture. Based on my observations of the high turnover rate of stylists leaving, across multiple locations this owner had, this does not seem to be a stable workplace. The atmosphere shifts noticeably to a negative atmosphere when the owner is present, making it difficult for stylists to showcase their talent and clients to feel comfortable.
