They fit me in earlier than planned, and came ready to do the job. They worked effectively, efficiently and cleaned up all debris when the job was done. The guys were all kind, respectful, thoughtful and worked well as a team. I will definitely be calling them again. Save yourself the trouble of sorting through the herd of "apparently highly rated" businesses on yelp.... call Beaver because they are simply the best, priced right, and so easy to work with.

James contacted me and said that he would be at my house on Wednesday. He never showed. I later received a text that there was some kind've accident and we try to come out tomorrow. No big deal, accidents happen. The next 2 days, he still did not show. I texted him, no response. I then called him and left a message. still no response. I texted him several more times and called him, no response. This was over the course of a few days. James was fully aware that I was moving to Arizona and wanted the work done because we are renting the property. So now because he blew me off. I am stuck in a bad spot. I have to find someone new and coordinate with my neighbor, so they can check that the work gets done. Bottom-line. They do good work but they are completely unreliable. I would not recommend using this service until they start having a little more respect for their customers. I would give them a 2.5 but no option for that

I joined Yelp today just to write this review! That's how good these guys were! Seriously…read more I had two huge black walnut trees in my yard here in Park Hill. The things were diseased, dead in fact. They needed to come down, and I knew it was going to cost me a pretty penny, so I did what I'm sure most of you do as well...I called over a dozen of the people here in Denver via Yelp who do this kind of work. It was important for me to get a decent price on the work. Not that I'd simply go with whomever came in the lowest, I did want to make sure they were reputable as well...well, of the dozen folks who came out, they were the only ones who actually talked with me, and I could tell immediately that they were people with integrity. That their bid was significantly lower than just about everyone elses didn't hurt too much either! The job ended up taking two days, and it turned out that one of the trees was much more complicated in how it had to come down, so much so that I was expecting them to ask for more money once the job was done, as the whole thing was originally scheduled for one day. But that wasn't the case at all. They totally honored their bid and didn't even mention the extra work the job entailed. That one of the owners is the guy who actually goes up into the tree to supervise most of the work shows just how dedicated of a team they are. & he really knows his stuff! They not only remove trees but will also work with you on planting and feeding new ones. A lot of my neighbors are already asking for their contact info, so know that these guys are pretty wonderful. And hey, they even left me a bunch of stumps that they cut to special sizes for me to use as outdoor furniture!

Showed up for second appointment on time. Pleasant, courteous, and knowledgeable. This was on a Friday; promised a bid by end of the weekend. I left a message on Tuesday morning saying I was ready to make a decision, and they would need to get me the promised quote that day if they wanted to be considered for the job. Front office called later that day, rattled through a litany of ridiculous excuses, and blew me off completely. No estimate, no responsibility, no respect. If they are so busy they can disregard sincere inquiries, then I wish them the best of luck. Based on this experience, however, I cannot recommend calling them. They failed to keep their agreement, and tried to make it appear it was my problem. Their front-of-house staff needs to be replaced if they are to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.

All good. * I met with 3 different arborists before I chose. * All three were qualified and knew their stuff. * Jesus Devora passed the vibe check - t'was honest, kind, and direct, not salesy. * Devora gave me the clearest proposal. PRICE * Devora was several hundred dollars less than the others for the same scope of work. * The other companies were silly high on common services like stump grinding and trimming. Pft! * Devora did not nickel-and-dime me. Fair and reasonable. DAY OF TREE REMOVAL & TREE TRIM * The crew showed up right on time at 8a. * They walked me through the plan, answered my ?s, and made sure I felt good before they started. * They were respectful of my yard and both of my neighbors' yards and parking areas/alley access. WORK ETHIC * They worked hard - all. damn. day. * They removed a large, 80yo tree safely and smoothly, despite power lines in between branches, and even cut out/rescued a bees nest and brought to a bee keeper. * They cleaned up so well that my yard looked better than when they arrived. They came to our home to figure out our options for caring for the HUGE century-old tree that had developed a crack at the base of its twin trunks. When Joe informed me that the tree simply couldn't be saved and why, I told him I'd have to talk to my wife before making a decision about taking it down because she loves the tree so much. He spent the time to come back later when she was home to talk through again why it needed to come down. It was clear that he understood the tree was special to us and did not give any pressure about making a sale. The quote that he sent us was VERY reasonable for work that ended up being a 2-day process. And the crew went above and beyond and helped us save a (heavy) piece of the tree that we want to use for a project. These guys will be my first call every time.
