This place is wonderful for a time to relax and get your artistic juices flowing. They have a lot of plain cermic pieces to choose from and a color pallete with a variety of colors. We were told to paint 3 layers of each color. I can't wait to get my glazed piece to see how it really turned out. Price includes: - Sitting fee - 2 hrs to complete your project (if you can't finish, you can always come back and pay the sitting fee) - Glazing your piece - Paint & Brushes & Pencils Note: Each piece has a different price and it takes 7 days to glaze your piece, so you will have to go back a week later. So be sure to choose a convenient location.

It was our first time at this location and we had a fantastic time! The two ladies working were so helpful and nice! My 4 year old had a blast and the painting was so easy! They give you two hours to paint which is plenty of time. My husband painted a bowl while I helped our four year old. The process is easy and I made a reservation online. It's $10/pp to paint and then you pay for the item you want to paint. You get to pick 5 colors but can request more. In 7 days you come back to pick up the finished piece and I can't wait to see them!

Such a great date night! We celebrated Valentines here and we had the best time! We painted succulents for our staircase. Staff is super cool and kind. It was like $110 for thee succulents and the $10 painters fee. Def pricey but worth it for an occasional date night! We hit sugarfish across the street after for dinner. So fun. Make reservations for color me mine online! It gets packed! It also takes 7 days for your art to be ready fyi :) will def be back!

I did a walk in on a Saturday by myself and the two girls working there were so sweet and accommodated me! They were very attentive to me and everyone else painting in the store. They were so kind and sweet to everyone. I painted a plate for my son's first birthday. The plate itself was $26 and painting fee $10. I did pay a rush $15 fee to have it ready in three days to have it in time for my son's birthday. My husband picked it up when it was ready but when I looked at it at home, there were some rough spots and unevenness in the firing (I think that's what it's called) of it. I did call and they said they will do it again at no charge, I just need to bring the plate back in. A little annoying since I did pay the $15 rush fee to have them do it sooner, but it's fine. Overall a good experience and I would return but I would double check the firing of your items when you pick them up.

This is what my daughter want to paint today ! Hahaha

Really cool place to take the kids coloring. Me and my wife came here with our kids on Saturday and my kids just loved it. We probably spend like good hour and more here. The people here really patient with the kids. Great place to spend your time with the kids when it's too cold outside. Definitely recommended.

I realize I never actually did show the seahorse I painted. The reds, yellows, oranges and blacks represent the fire and crushed car that almost took the life of my family while the blue represents the color of my totaled Chevy.

Unfortunately, it didn't turn out to be a great experience. * No blank pottery to paint - Everything available already had printed designs on it. We were hoping to paint our own plates, cups, or bowls, but there were no plain pieces available. * Very limited selection - The inventory felt small. We were told a party of 20 was coming in, and it seemed like the blank items might have been saved for them. * Unhelpful service - When we asked about options, the staff didn't seem very helpful or friendly. * Pricing - There's a $10 studio fee per painter, and many of the stamped platters were around $42 more, which felt expensive for items that were already pre-designed. Since there was nothing blank to paint, we ended up leaving without doing the activity. We were hoping to try something different from Color Me Mine, but unfortunately this visit didn't work out for us. We're going to Color Me Mine.

The studio has a really wonderful, creative energy that I looked forward to every week. It served as a great 'sensory reset' and a way to focus purely on the tactile experience of the clay. Particularly seeing other members body of work. My only minor wish for the future would be a bit more shelf space for student projects! As I got more into the flow of creating, I found myself wishing there was more room to store work-in-progress pieces between sessions. Each purchase of a course provides access to membership hours where you can come in practice before the classes. They provide the base tools in a black case and if you need more clay it's $25. That being said, the quality of instruction and the community more than make up for it. I'm so happy with the projects I made and I'd definitely recommend this course to anyone looking for a new creative outlet! As a note there's a waiting list to become a member after completing the course. So don't hesitate!

DONT WAST YOUR TIME. We took a pottery class with Biana at the end of September/early October 2025…read more At first, she seemed kind and personable, and the initial class itself was enjoyable. Unfortunately, the experience after the class was very disappointing due to a lack of professionalism and communication. It took a long time and multiple attempts to reach her to schedule glazing. After we completed glazing, I reached out again on December 17, 2025, to follow up about picking up our pottery. I received no response--no call, no text--until today, January 14, 2026. When she finally responded this morning, she asked whether we had even done our glazing, which was frustrating given the long delay. I attempted to call to arrange picking up my pottery, even in its unfinished state, but was told she was closing her shop and that I would need to reach back later in the evening. When I expressed my concerns about how long this process had taken and the lack of communication, I was met with dismissive comments and was even told that I was being "dramatic." This was especially upsetting, as communication was prompt at the beginning when payment was required. Due to the ongoing delays and poor communication, I no longer wish to retrieve my pottery. I am writing this review to share my experience so others are aware before booking. I also noticed another review describing similar issues, and I wish I had read it beforehand. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this studio. Sign up with Clay and Play instead!

There was no mention of any limit on group size or that she wouldn't be able to accommodate us again as a group. I reached out on 10/25 to schedule glazing and never received a reply. She finally responded almost a month later -- only to tell us we now need to come back in groups of just 1-4 people. This change was never communicated upfront and is completely different from the private group experience we originally booked. What's especially frustrating is that she was extremely quick to book us and take payment up front, but now that she already has the money, she won't even respond -- not to me, and not to the rest of my group who reached out separately. We're not asking for a refund; we already completed our session on 9/28. We just expected timely communication and the ability to finish our pieces the same way we started: together. The lack of communication, long delays, and sudden change in expectations made this experience disappointing and inconvenient. I hope the business becomes more transparent and responsive for future customers.

ARTime BARRO is part pottery studio, part community space, and is a relaxing, chill place where you can unleash the creativity you thought was dead, where your artistic spirit gets to come out to play, if only for just a little bit of time in this crazy world. On a recent weekend, I had the opportunity to take the One-Time Class, which is a one-hour course designed for complete beginners. You get to make two pieces, one by hand at the table and one on the pottery wheel. The class size was small (just 5 people) and we got great 1:1 instruction and guidance from our knowledgeable instructor Max. I've always wanted to try the wheel and was surprised how hard it was to use it but it was such a great experience that I think everyone should try at least once. After you sculpt your pieces, you are invited to come back to hand paint (glaze) your work at no additional cost. You can also have them do a one-color glaze for you, but after I saw all the multi-colored pieces of other folks previous to me, it was no contest to decide that I wanted to color my pieces myself. You have up to 3 months to come back to glaze so it's very doable in anyone's busy LA (corporate) lifestyle. Pricing was very reasonable for such a cool bespoke experience. There are a lot of pottery painting studios (e.g. Color Me Mine) but this is awesome bc you get to make the pottery AND color it later! I've already recommended this place to countless people!

Our instructor was friendly and gave clear directions on how to mold our pieces. We each made 2 pieces, so the one hour really flew by. We had the option to come back to glaze our pieces or have the studio glaze them for us, and opted for the latter. There's a small lot behind the building, but it was full when I went. It wasn't difficult to find free street parking on a Sunday evening in this area. The pottery pieces could use a bit of extra care in handling (my wheel-thrown piece had rough edges and a random piece stuck on that wasn't there initially, and the glazing didn't look thorough on my other piece), but overall I was happy with my pieces. This was a fun experience, and worth the value!

Ponti has kids birthday parties down to a science with different activities planned out that all the kids loved! Him and his team handled it all while we got to relax and chat with other parents. On top of that, we didn't have to worry about goodie bags because all the kids went home with a couple pieces of glow in the dark art that they made. There was a separate, and massive, room for food and drinks so when cake cutting came around it was so easy. Also he made setting up and packing up so easy.
