Best pizza in Houston by far. I've tried Enoteca Rossa , Star Pizza, Fuzzy's . Highly recommend the Z-Special thin crust.

We came here as a late-night option after White Linen Night and it was exactly what we needed! Service was quick, and the pizza was delicious -- hot, fresh, and perfect after a long night out. Such a great neighborhood pizza spot and definitely one I'd come back to. One thing to note is that they're no longer BYOB, but they had a good selection of wine available to choose from. read more

My favorite thing at a restaurant is paying for my food and then being chased in the parking lot for theft...then having to go back in to prove it. What a craphole! NEVER AGAIN! read more

Used to order from them monthly: about six months ago, ordered a dish that included seafood and it arrived cold and with minimal protein, so I took them off my 're-order list'. Last night thought I'd give them another try and ordered a wedge salad and a meat pasta. Wedge salad arrived in the order, pasta did not [a simple side salad did]. When I called them to notify, unhelpful gentleman told me to 'call DoorDash'. When I asked what that would do and if they could make another pasta dish, he paused and said 'I am sorry'--no other options. In a neighborhood with so many great restaurants, this one is now off my list for good. Exceptionally poor customer service: buyer beware...... read more

During a work training day, we decided to go find a cute pizza place in the area. I went to yelp to find a pizza place that was cute with a great star rating. We weren't having much success, so we asked a co-worker who lives in the area where she suggests we go. She gave me the name of this pizza place and away we went. It was a 15 min drive from our location, so we were concerned about the time we had to wait for food, but we took a chance. The ambiance was great. (It is BYOB for a few bucks extra.) The pizza was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. My co-worker and I decided to go in on a pizza and split it. It was amazing. I ate a big slice and then took the rest home and devoured the rest for dinner. My boss was still talking about the pizza a week later.. totally worth the 30 min round trip detour and the time it took out of our lunch break!! I will definitely be back when I am in the area! Btw I usually don't eat garlic bread but my co-worker was drooling over it so I decided to try it.. I ate every savory bite!! read more

I am so sad to see how the prices jumped so high over night ,even a cork fee went to 5.00 a glass ,not 2.00 anymore, I can't understand why so high for 1 bottle of wine & charge for each glass, So sad, read more

First time visiting and we had a great time! Promptly greeted when entering. Diner was cute style. Our waitress was super attentive and always checking up on us, especially with drink refills which we appreciated. We tried the pineapple pizza and cream mushroom pasta and they were both delicious. We left super full and would come back! It's BYOB and we will definitely be adhering to that next time. The appetizers salad and bread were also very fresh. Staff was the most attentive I've faced in a while. Super sweet spot! read more

Great comfy neighborhood location for Italian food . The focaccia bread sets the tone for the scrumptious wholesome pizzas and pastas. Also is family friendly with great servers and is BYOB read more

Went there for dinner tonight, food okay, not great. But very bothered by wait staff, definitely need retraining on restaurant sanitation, customer service, how to dress and overall etiquette. I counted 10 people on staff, 3 standing around focused on their phones, 3 prepping, 2 cooking and 2 just standing around. Restaurant definitely needs a new management staff!! Not a very welcoming atmosphere. read more

I personally like everything about this place. Ambiance, Food, Service When I order to go or dine in, I go for the 20" pizzas or their pastas, with a side of focaccia bread. Only thing I dislike is that they don't have a location in Cypress/ Katy area Please have one out here read more

Tastes like authentic Italian food, I recommend! Sometimes it gets a bit busy but is worth the wait!

All these years late and we still frequent Collina's. My enthusiasm has waned since becoming gluten free. They do have gluten free pasta, but they often run out of or don't have the pizza crust. Also - tip - they don't have a separate kids menu, but they do have portions of any pasta dish. Great deal for the kids! read more

So Italian food to me is like you can't mess it up too much unless the noodles are mushy. I had a meal here the night before the Houston half marathon and the spaghetti with meat sauce was actually really tasty. My husband got the lasagne and we shared all of this with our toddler. Of course he loved the spaghetti the most and the salad and bread were also delicious. read more

Service was good and food good . Great time. We had about 12 people for a birthday party.

We have been Collina's regulars for 20 years. A very cozy and casual pizzeria and BYOB!

This is a small, neighborhood joint has great pizza, that's for sure. It's easy, informal, and people seem to feel comfortable eating here with family and friends. It's BYOB and they have a great outside deck. The miss: the restroom. See photos: this doesn't work. It's just a major issue and they need to do something to have the bathrooms not take away from an otherwise great dining experience. read more

Delicious pizza and pasta! The service was wonderful. We will definitely be back again.

We went here for the first time tonight with our 2.5 year old son. We arrived about 545, ordered a small cheese pizza and one large pizza. We were one of 2 tables seated in the restaurant. We waited about 20 minutes and didn't see our server, let alone any food. The place got crowded. Waited another 10 minutes. Still no server or food. The tables around us, who arrived after us, started getting their food. Waited another 10 minutes and mine and my husbands pizza showed up. We asked if it normally took this long for pizza, as it had been 40-45 minutes at this point. The waitress said no but didn't elaborate. Our son's pizza did not come. We waited about 5 minutes. No pizza. After flagging down our waitress, we asked where his food was and she tried to blame it on the kitchen "making a mistake". We finally got his cheese pizza about 650. He was too antsy to sit still to eat so after one slice, we just asked for a box and took everything home. No apologies. No nothing. I'll give it 3 stars because the pizza was fine. Nothing special but not bad. We won't be coming back. Bummed. Really wanted to like this place read more

The pizza here was delicious and came out sizzling hot. They have the basic condiments on the table for your meals. It's a cozy restaurant and will be a perfect place to take the family out for an Italian dinner. Service was kind of lacking, no one checked up on me. When you asked a question about something the staff wasn't to eager to give you an answer. Still willing to go back and try other dishes. read more

Wow, just wow. You have truly outdone yourself this time Collina. I have been looking for an authentic Italian restaurant where you feel like you're eating family recipes. This is definitely one of those places. Has a cool ambiance/vibe on the inside and is very quaint. I also had a fantastic view this evening (my girlfriend). The bread was fantastic and so fresh. Highly recommend saving some to dip in the fettuccine sauce. My girlfriend (smokeshow) got the fettuccini and holy wacamole was it good. You could tell it was homemade and was super fresh. I had the spaghetti and meatballs and it was slightly underwhelming. It was good, but the sauce was a little watery and could have used some more flavor. The meatballs were great though. Overall, 10/10. Will definitely be throwing Collina's fettuccine Alfredo down my gullet again soon. By the time it was over I was sweating profusely and a bit shaky, but I liked it To everyone that gave this place a bad review: I am actively praying on your downfall. read more

I'm not sure why the Collina's aren't all consistently the same but I accidentally ordered some pizza from the Heights location and it wasn't anything like our beloved Richmond location. The pies weren't as crispy and flavorful and just not as good. I think there's a difference in dough as well as toppings. We frequent the Richmond location and love it every single time but this one is definitely lacking.. I gave it a few tries and it was consistently different and disappointing. read more

I'm from Houston, TX originally and moved up north. I still think about this place and miss the pizza so so much. There truly is nothing like Houston food and Collinas is by far my favorite place. I would do anything to have this place near me again. (I would only get the Mona Lisa so I can't speak for the other food) Pizza is the way to when coming here. The tomatoes are so sweet and fresh along with the different cheeses they use on there pizzas pair perfectly. (I cannot speak about the service or ambiance because I couldn't care less about it, as long as I have my pizza) read more

Service sucks - super slow waitress/non-attentive...a real shame because the food is so delicious.

Great food. Service was good, not great. The friendliness of the staff will not swept you away but the food will.

We love the pizza, meatballs, sauce, bread, BYOB, family friendly. Easy staple for us, especially with the frozen yogurt shop right there too Improvement suggestions: - update to stainless pots pans cooking utensils (open kitchen, so you can see what looks like old scratched Teflon being used) -Deep cleaning needed on high chairs & patio chairs & tables (and then regular cleaning upkeep of them) -Restroom sink area needs full update + a stool for kids to reach sink. -add gate to patio fence area read more

Love Collina's! It it my go-to pizza pick up spot in Houston! My only negatives revolve around the customer service. Every time we call or pick up it is not the friendliest and a little blunt. However, I haven't ran into any problems besides this. I do wish Collina's had a rewards or coupon program! I have only ever been for pizza so cannot comment on the rest of the menu - but highly recommend the Margherita or Greca Pizzas. read more

We have been coming to this location for years to celebrate family birthdays. Typically every time we visit everything's on point. Food is great and the service is stellar. Today was the exception as the service was non existent. Our appetizers took forever and one didn't come out until after our pizzas were delivered. Today's visit was a disappointment our bill was over $200. I'm sure we will be back as we love the pizza but it will be awhile. read more

I don't know why we keep ordering from this place. Not only is the food inconsistent about every third time they get it wrong. Well they got it wrong again tonight. I called to tell them this and when they answer the phone the first thing they told me was that they were closed. I told them what had happened and the coward hung up. Immediately called back, being a coward he is he didn't answer. We're done with these idiots. read more

Definitely worth the 3 star rating it has. Customer service is really bad here. Pasta was good but you could tell the water needed more salt. Focaccia is the best I ever had! House salad and calamari was really good too. Wish I had gotten the pizza since I see it has very good ratings on here and looked so yummy at other tables. This rating is just for today. Could definitely bump to a 4-5 star if they had a bit of improvement. read more

Collina's Italian Cafe - Ravioli (vodka sauce needed WAY more color and it was a bit overbearing in my opinion) - Italian Near Me - Houston, Texas

I'm shocked that this place is only 3 stars! Came on a Sunday night for dinner for the first time, and waited about 5 minutes for a table. There were only a couple of servers working, and noticed the hiring sign outside so expected slow service. However my server Israel was super quick and provided great customer service despite the busy restaurant. I got the chicken parm panini and it came with a side salad and the most delicious focaccia bread! Make sure you dip it in oil + Parmesan cheese. So addicting! The chicken parm panini was more like a sandwich but it was delicious and super filling (also only like $8). Others at my table tried the pasta and said it was also good. We noticed everyone around us ordering pizza and it looked amazing, so I'll definitely be back to try pizza. Pro tip: it's BYOB with a $2 corking fee per person. Overall, I think it's really good Italian food especially for the price! read more

Ok I understand why this place doesn't have good reviews now. Goodness. We came here yesterday and they took our order, we got half of our food and the other half never came. The waiter is flustered and is wondering if we are done with dinner because our kids are over sitting for so long. We get the bill and it's way higher than we anticipated and upon inspecting the receipt it's because they gave us the wrong bill and overcharged us. It was completely chaotic and I didn't really enjoy the experience. The food was decent but now they charge for bread and it's not fresh hot out of the oven anymore. It was pretty cold and hard. I'm not sure we would be back or maybe just grabbing take out. read more
