I was thrilled to not see an entire list of hazy IPAs. Is this a miracle? I order two two fantastic beers One was an IPA ,but I can't remember the other. Whoops! But such a good selection overall. My Bf really enjoyed his scallop dish! I thought the beef on the Mac and cheese was pretty good but the Mac and cheese itself tasty almost too floury? Not sure if that's even how they make it but the taste was just a little off. On other positive note though, My BF also got the crème brûlée and that was also pretty good. Lastly my strawberry margarita tasted good but I believe was $15!? And that's a little steep for me compared to back home. But we also didn't order drinks anywhere else in OBX so I'm not sure if that's the going rate. Plus, our waitress was pleasant and friendly.

Plates can be pricey but everything is when you're at the beach. I ordered the Backyard wings - these are the best wings I've had in a long time. Rubbed, smoked, roasted, then grilled & tossed in a mild buffalo sauce. I asked for them well done since they were Togo. There was a little bit of char on them which added an amazing flavor. Definitely a MUST order!! For the entree, I ordered fried shrimp & fries w/ no slaw & extra cocktail. The shrimp were great & fried just right for a to go order and stayed crispy. I wish I had got the fires crispy also because the condensation made them very flimsy but other than that - this was also a great choice. Thanks KD Grill for a ln awesome meal!! I will definitely return on my next visit and since it'll be in off-season, I may even dine-in. Can't wait to order those wings again!!
