These are the best macarons that I've ever tried! I went to a pop up shop at the Tpumps in Burlingame where I bought a balsamic strawberry. This was so delicious! She even let us try a sample of matcha coconut which was a cute bite size. My mom doesn't even like coconut but this had such a unique flavor to it. I don't know how Anita does this masterpiece. She's also super nice to all her customers and I'm most likely going to have her deliver some for a small party. In love!! read more

So it was around 9am and I was scrolling through Instagram and saw a picture of macarons and showed it to my 7 year old daughter who loves sweets and she asked if she could have some. Of course I wouldn't say no to macarons either. I went on Yelp to see if there were any macaron shops in the area and found ColetteMacaron who had great reviews. I submitted an order around 9:30am and received a confirmation by 9:40am stating that she could deliver by noon, same day! Sure enough, my doorbell rings at noon and the owner, Anita is at my doorstep holding happiness in a box and wished me a Happy Thanksgiving and was on her way. I was really impressed by the presentation, there was a Happy Thanksgiving printed card on the box and the macarons looked beautiful with all the vibrant colors. I showed it to my daughter and her face lit up! She whispered if she could please have one even though she was on Zoom distance learning, I told her to wait but she wasn't having it so she ate the peppermint brownie one while trying to hide her mouth, lol. I don't blame her, I wanted to eat one right away when I opened the box too. She said that it was really good! She tried asking for a second one immediately after the first one but this time I said no! The macarons tasted as good as they looked, perfect texture, crispy on the outside and slightly chewy on the inside. The only thing I would change is if we can adjust the sweetness level as it was a tad too sweet for my personal preference but that doesn't take away from the unique flavors and the perfect texture. I asked my daughter if we should order it again and she said YES! Our favorite flavors were peppermint brownie and cinnamon blueberry, these two flavors seemed to be less sweet than the other flavors so they were just about perfect! My daughter and I finished the dozen macarons in two days.......well it would have been one day but I was trying my best to practice self control. Luckily we didn't have to share with my husband or son since they are not into sweets (they don't know what they're missing)!!
