I purchased a Coleman UT400 from Tractor Supply in Oklahoma on 22 November 2022. Two days later, on 24 November 2022, it broke. A shaft on the engine sheared. I contacted Coleman Powersports and brought the machine to their suggested service technician on 3 Dec. 2022. As of today, it has been 4 months and the 3rd different person from Coleman has reached out to me asking the same questions regarding the repair that I have answered each time. Bought a UTV 400 in Nov 22, after 7/8 hrs engine wouldn't stay on! Took to repair in shop for a week Or 2. Then less than 3 months later steering wheel locked, couldt turn the key and mechanic stated they have shifter problems also. Has 12 hrs on it!!! JUNK! We want our MONEY BACK! It's DEFINITELY DEFECTIVE!! We have filed a complaint with consumer affairs too. DO NOT BUY COLEMAN JUNK!! Buyer BEWARE! read more

My 14 saved up his money and bought a mini bike on 8/24. On 8/29, we contacted the store because oil and smoke started spewing out of the exhaust system. The store ordered a new minibike which came in on 9/10. On 10/14, the throttle stopped turning, which likely means a broken throttle cable. Since it was outside the 30 return policy at the store, we contacted Coleman powersports that day on 10/14. I have called in six times and have never received a phone call back. Every time I call I am told that they are trying to find a service provider to fix the bike. The last two times, I asked for a supervisor and was told a ticket was created for them to call me back. Today is 12/16 and I still have not heard from Coleman. When I spoke with a rep today, they told me they could only see the original ticket from 10/14 and could not see notes of my other calls, or my requests to speak with supervisors. Never buy a Coleman. The quality is obviously very poor since we have had two issues in such a short amount of time. The service is even worse. Bought a new Coleman JL50 on 05/24/21. Got ahold of Coleman the next day reference a leaking master brake cylinder. Very simple part to replace. Warranty person keeps emailing me each day saying they are still looking for a place to service the bike to fix or replace the cylinder. St George, UT area. We seriously have like 30 motorcycle atv shops here. You guys can't find one. Don't dare ride now because of potential brake loss. Come on guys!!! read more

I'm having to wait a little longer due to COVID but I feel my order was very minimal for them to have sent out right away but it's been two weeks and they still haven't sent out my small order every time I call they just say they'll get to it when that can! To me I feel it's not very professionally done easy shipments I don't understand but what can I do I still have to wait Coleman said it can still take a couple of weeks! Purchased a KT196 go cart for my daughter Christmas 2019 via Wal Mart.com. Never ran properly from the beginning. Attempted to go through the seller for a replacement. Colman referred us to Wal Mart, then Wal Mart referred us back to Colman. The actual engine fix bracket eventually split apart sending the engine off kilter, demolishing the entire clutch system. By the time I was able to reach anyone about the issue, our warranty had expired (how convenient). Finally gave up trying to get resolution via the seller and manufacture. We have since spent over $500 trying to fix the clutch system, it remains broken. I am unable to find after market parts, I have been forced to purchase all parts directly from Colman costing me hundreds in both parts and shipping, not to mention it takes weeks to months to receive the parts from the warehouse. We have spent money and over a year trying to fix the problem. Since we purchased the go cart, my daughter has been able to use it maybe 4 months total. I have sent pictures to Colman of the defective fix bracket without show of concern or attempt to resolve the issue. Upon inspection of the actual defect, it is clear that this is a product issue, not a use issue. I guess I should be grateful that my daughter was not injured when the engine bracket broke and sent everything clunking and flying around. Coleman is a name usually synonymous with American made, strong and reliable. I guess like so many other companies, they have farmed out their services to cheap over seas production.
