Stopped in on a busy Saturday evening. Pros: ice cream was delicious! Had not had cold stone in forever and just as I remembered! Cons: only two workers there for a Saturday night. They were hustling but it did make for a longer wait. Also ran out of chocolate ice cream by 7pm. Inside they have three tables with seats and one table outside. read more

This Coldstone is very clean and is never really crowded. The people that work there are super friendly. However, I've found that they are really stingy with the toppings and don't give you the normal amount. Coldstone is pretty pricey, but they have so many options and great creations. read more

I've always loved the flavors at cold stone but this particular location is horrible! The portions for the price is terrible. The price for everything has increased and the owners are so stingy with the portions. The ladies that work there do a great job but the two guys that come in sometimes toward the end of the day act like they can't fill the cup up. The bathroom was disgusting! No toilet paper and hair all over the seat! There's no way anyone checked or cleaned this bathroom all day. Wouldn't recommend! read more

Worker closed shop down a whole hour early because she was ready to go home. Won't ever return here for horrible service. 0 stars

Came to get ice cream on a Friday night and they closed early. Very disappointed. Saw several others cars that were planning to go in. Obviously doesn't need our business. read more

I probably wouldn't return to this Coldstone. The music was so loud to the point it was hard to heard the associate because she spoke so soft. I had ordered the cake batter milkshake and I kinda regret getting the shake. There were some black spots on the ice cream, she got one of the spot but didn't notice the other. I know I should've said something but it was definitely noticeable. I don't kinda that a medium size shake is worth $11. read more

Our go to ice cream location when staying at the local timeshares. Seemed to be new management & workers so there was quite a bit of confusion which prolonged the process of getting ice cream. Ice cream was still good though. read more

Love this place! My favorite? Like it or love it size of ice cream, sweet cream, chopped nuts rolled in, all in a chocolate dipped waffle bowl. Divine!! Good service, good selection. Pricey but it sure is a decadent treat! Join the rewards program to earn $5 off. read more

I go to cold stone every year to get birthday cakes. I had an issue at a different cold stone and as a part of my resolution, I was given a coupon for a percentage off for life. So..This particular cold stone refuses to honor the discount card. Ok fine- the cage was very poorly written on for the birthday message so that was pretty disappointing. The lady with the sloppy penmanship was not even very friendly. The store isn't even well kept. Every other cold stone has been much better than this one in terms of appearance. read more

For a first visit it was a good one. I am a fan of the chain, so this was a natural choice when out of town for the day with family. This store is conveniently located off of 199. Plenty of parking is a plus. No debris in the parking lot, or sidewalks was a welcome sight. I noticed no outdoor seating. A small line was formed inside for the after dinner crowd. This location also has the ice-cream cakes in a stand-up cooler. Dining room has around four tables, most appeared to be taking out. Our party was eating in. The line kept getting longer and to the door by the time we reached a young woman to put our order in. Orders were taken, products were diced and pounded on the cold slab for the kids to enjoy watching, okay adults too! Everyone got a cup except for me who wanted to be adventurous and get a Oreo & Milk shake. WOW, that was an awesome decision. Check-out occurred prior to the order being complete to keep things moving. They have bottle water and soda at check out in a small cooler behind the register. If you don't mind room temperature water it's beside the register. All interactions with the staff were pleasant and the dining room and restrooms were tidy. You pay more sure, but everything we had was great! This is a solid location I would recommend. read more

Clearly marked hours of operation say open until 9pm. Online the hours say open until 9pm. We decided to head over after dinner and pulled into the parking lot at 8pm. Workers inside cleaning up and the lights on, open sign turned off and a printed sign saying "closed due to inclement weather". It was raining! Thursday June 10th 8pm. There were cars lining up outside and they closed for no good reason besides they wanted to go home early. Unfortunately this is the quality of help we are forced to accept after Covid. But they want $15 per hour. I hope the owner of this location is made aware of the situation. read more

The best friendliest service and birthday cake ever!!! I orders a large chocolate health bar with coffee ice cream cake for a birthday online. I popped in early to be sure the order completed. This very friendly lady showed me the beautiful prepaid cake all ready. I picked it up right before the party and everyone said it was the best cake they ever had. It's my new go to for fabulous ice cream cakes. read more

$17 for two smallest cups of ice cream, not even with cones, is beyond ridiculous for average ice cream. They have a sign outside for help wanted, which is obvious from the condition of the bathroom that someone needs help. Management isn't missing any pay Im sure. I won't be surprised when this corporation goes belly up. read more

Coldstone Creamery - a hand holding a cup of ice cream - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Williamsburg, Virginia

This place is SO overpriced and the customer service was AWFUL. The ice cream is overrated and and doesn't take the best either. Do not recommend. read more

Disgusting. The manager is scooping ice cream while talking into it with his mask pulled down to his neck. No customer service skills whatsoever. We left. Do not go here. read more

Kinda mad I have to leave one star. The service was awful . We were the only customers in the store and called out several times before anyone slovenly showed up to help us. The manchild who helped us seemed mad he actually had to do something. He screwed up my Strawberry Blondie, and did a piss poor job making my husbands 'Peanut Buttercup Perfection'. This was the worst of the worst. We'll be going to Brewsters from now on. I'm a little ill, thinking I gave them my hard earned money for a crappy product and service. read more

I purchased a cake for my mom for Mother's Day from the Cold Stone Creamery in Williamsburg. When I called the store on Friday to ask about using the current $3 off cake coupon, the man I spoke with told me I could order the cake online and then bring the coupon with me when I pick up the cake and they would give me 3 dollars back or a 3 dollar gift card. When I arrived yesterday to pick up the cake, the girl at the register was terribly rude with a lot of attitude, tried to charge me $31 for the cake AGAIN when I already paid for it online, AND she refused to take the $3 off coupon. She said "we don't take that - it's expired". Seriously?! The coupon expires on June 7, 2017! There is a picture of a Mother's Day cake on the flyer of the coupon. It is not expired. She just didn't want to be bothered. When she was looking for the cake in the back she spoke down to me like "Well, what's written on it?!!" I do not understand what her problem was. I was kind to her and I shouldn't have been. She acted annoyed that she had to help me at all when she had been standing there at the register doing absolutely nothing for the 10 minutes we were in line. I have worked in customer service for over 16 years and I have never treated anyone like that. She ruined our day. :( It's a shame I have to give such a poor review because the cake was good. read more

How do you mess up a Cold Stone? Well stop on by and these absolutely tragic owners will be happy to show you. So, I've never worked at one but I'm 100% confident I could do a better job than the cumbersome employee who couldn't simply mix ingredients together. I mean that's the whole thing right. Mix ice cream with ingredients on a cold stone. Nope. Not here. read more

Store was so filthy, ice cream looked melted and froze over, server used a scoop instead of a paddle and did not use gloves. Glass and subdued covered with film. Disgusting! read more

Rude, slow, inadequate service. My husband and I walked into the store last night and the server immediately walked into the back, after helping another customer. We waited for 15 minutes before she came back. She didn't ask for our order, she just waited for us to say something. Our order was very sloppily put together afterward. read more

A good product does not make up for having horrible customer service. The employees were flat out rude and after paying my wife spoke to another person waiting and she said it's like this every time she's there. read more

We came here during a slow time and the staff was friendly but very quiet. I felt weird and odd walking in as if "Caution-proceed with caution" hahaha. The ice cream was great, cold-stone-creamery quality. This ice cream parlor is pricey like most if not all other cold stone creamery. So, this wasnt a deterrent. I had a good bonding time with family eating ice cream and stuff. They are conveniently located next to a children's hair salon, which is where we came from afterwards for a treat! read more

I take the COVID precautions very seriously. I recently cleaned out my car and sadly forgot my mask at home, so I walked in with my shirt SAFELY COVERING my nose AND mouth... but that wasn't good enough. They refused to serve me. The workers came across as rude and unwilling to try to gain our business or work with us. Not understanding and no urgency to help at all. We drove down the road to Brusters and had no problems at all!! read more

Picture this: an ice cream junkie walks into a world renown ice cream shop in the middle of colonial Williamsburg, Va. He is stumped at the number of options of ice combinations as rich as the history surrounding the area. Flustered, and not knowing how to proceed he kindly asks the gentleman at the counter what his favorite option is. He replied with some concoction of apple pie something or another..... Seconds later there was a spoon in my mouth with exactly what he had described to me. I was instantly hooked. I have never been to heaven, but I'm pretty sure this apple deliciousness is served there. Say no to drugs and yes to ice cream! read more

kind ginger man scooped my ice cream - lovely experience definitely going again soon!

If I could rate a zero for customer service.. this wouldn't even make the grade. Rude and unfriendly doesn't even describe their attitude tonight! read more

Just got back. Opened at 2 pm, not 12 pm as the website says. Ordered two "gotta have its", both with chocolate ice cream. After both were prepared and dripping down the sides of the cups, the woman informed us the chocolate was very soft. This particular cold stone location has not provided very good service any time that I have been there. The service is slow and cleanliness often lacking. It closed down for a period of time and has now reopened. There are signs out front stating that it is under new management. I have not been in since the new management took over but perhaps it is worth giving it another try. I know, this is not the greatest review since I have not actually been since the new management took over, I just thought it was worth putting it out there. read more

Go anywhere but here. Our server at the counter doesn't wash his hands, he touches cones after handling money and running his hands through his hair, his clothes are dirty, no napkins available anywhere, the tables and chairs are filthy, the bathroom is marked as employees only and the smell is awful. There's not even soap in the bathroom....never returning. read more

Felt like I was in a cheap bar where they measure the alcohol. I ordered a Love It Peanut Butter Cup Perfection with birthday cake ice cream. The employee added only one peanut butter cup and actually measured a teaspoon of peanut butter. The sundae was a little thin on ingredients to say the least. For $5 plus there should be more. Had a much better experience and Handel's Ice Cream on Richmond Road. read more

Just stopped by for my usual cake batter with cake pieces mixed in. I'm from out of town and this is my first time visiting this location. Imagine my surprise when I bit into my ice cream and the cake was crunchy! Thought maybe it was just that piece and kept eating. That was not the case. All of the cake was crunchy and completely dried out. Cake pieces are supposed to be soft. There's no telling how long those have been sitting in their container getting hard. Yuck read more

Okay first off the ice cream is just so-so. I've heard that Cold Stone's ice cream is amazing, but I just don't see that. Maybe it's the location. Also, some of the staff can barely speak English. This lady was trying to help me but I could not understand a word she was saying. She had to go get someone else to translate for her. I much prefer Ben and Jerry's and Haagan Daz. read more

This store is out of business. Stopped by on Sat 14 Jun and saw a "under repossession " sign in the door.

These guys were great. Got there just as they opened with my son on Labor Day weekend. The server had my son stand back and catch the ice cream in his cup all the way across the store. Great shot. Great catch. Even better memories. Very well done!! read more

If I could give this Cold Stone a 0 I would. I've been to plenty of cold stones before and have never quite experienced customer service like this before. I went to the bathroom while my boyfriend "ordered" our ice cream. For 1: The bathroom was disgusting. I come out from the bathroom and he was waiting to be helped. There was no one else in the store. We left. When I asked what happened he said, he told the employee that he was ready to order BUT the employee stated, "I'm pretty tired and I wanna finish this video really quick". So my boyfriend proceeded to wait for the employee to stop rubbing his belly and finish his video. I have never seen such terrible customer service. When a paying customer walks in the door you stop what you're doing immediately and assist them. This is not worth any money. And I am a fan of the cold stone franchise but this is a tremendous disappointment. Such a shame. read more

I absolutely love coldstone! I've been to many on the east coast and they have always been positive experiences...except for at this particular store. Coldstone is always expensive, but that's fine considering how good their ice cream is, but I would not recommend going to this store unless you want to pay for food poisoning. I went with my family of 6 people and we all enjoyed the ice cream, and left. 20 minutes later however, we were ALL doubled over in pain and had severe squirts for the rest of the day. Do NOT go to this unclean store. The workers should have been a sign this place was unclean. It should be shut down. read more
