There is an opening just outside with some picnic tables. Parking is located on the street. But, you can totally walk there if you wanted, since Cape Charles Main Street area is small and manageable. Service was great. The two younger girls helping me choose items were fantastic. They seemed to care and help They have delicious shortbread offered in various flavors. I have never had coffee flavor before, and that is unique. They also had chocolate chip, cranberry orange, lemon, and original. Those are the flavors I remember. I purchased a peanut butter cookie and that was so good! It had a nice soft center with a slight crispy outer edge. The peanut butter flavor was strong but not over powering. I will definitely be purchasing more flavors in the future. Pair it with a delicious coffee or tea and your set. They offer other baked items and offer a few sandwiches. I have never eaten them, but I have seen them. They look appetizing, and they are jam packed with ingredients. Their hours will fluctuate during different seasons, so be sure to check into their hours before visiting.

Then, we took the scenic way back on the eastern shore of VA and stayed at Cape Charles Motel just outside Cape Charles, VA on US 13. The next morning we checked out of the motel. I was annoyed the night before as I had thought there was some sort of breakfast included when I was asking about the times of the breakfast, and he said they didn't have there. So, we ventured into town for Cape Charles Coffee House. It's a cute, historic place with an upstairs area with additional seating. The brunch & coffee was solid & nice staff, but I do remember it took awhile to get the food. Perhaps, they were on Cape Charles time as opposed to DC-Baltimore area time I'm used to...haha. I had a grilled cheese & cup of soup. It was delicious. Cape Charles Coffee House & the town itself was nice; I'd come back to the coffee house if I was back.

I was engaged with the owner initially just asking questions because he was so nice and we weren't really hungry. Eventually, because of how friendly he was we purchased several of the cinnamon buns: 2 regular and 1 blueberry lemon. We ate one regular one and it was outstanding-very moist, very filling and very sweet. Even better is was MUCH cheaper than Cinnabon or competitors. If you see them, you gotta buy 1-trust me you won't regret it.

I mean, all the other cookies were delicious, but that one blew all our tastebuds, so much, that we went back to get some more! These cookies are a good size and they are quite thick. They are not rounded like normal cookies. It's almost like she baked them with a shaper on or the batter is stong enough to hold the shape that she made them. Either way, I would choose this Momster's cookies over the pink box kind (iykyk). The staff was very friendly as they greeted us on the way in. There is a variety of cakes and cupcakes and they also do milkshakes. I ordered a lemon pound cake and a red velvet cupcake and my boyfriend ordered a cookies and cream milkshake. The milkshake was delicious and prepared to order. The lemon poundcake and the cupcake were very good but they just weren't as moist and fluffy as I expected them to be. Not saying that they were bad by any means I just wish they were moist.
