Stopped by for desserts for Easter. I picked up lots of goodies which we really enjoyed. Service was excellent!

Williams O'Delicious is a cute bakery with Japanese- and European-inspired pastries. While most of the pastries were too sweet for our taste, it was still enjoyable to browse the variety of baked goods. The cinnamon roll was our favorite. Friendly service and fair pricing made for a pleasant visit overall. read more

Only reason I'm rating low is because I walked out empty handed. I went in looking for cupcakes to celebrate my son's birthday. There wasn't a single one available. They were also out of other items like oatmeal cookies that others were looking for when they came in. It's a small shop in a kinda sketchy area. They were kind but I can't speak for how the food is. We left and found another local bakery. read more

I was looking for sweet potato and boy did they deliver! I'm from the south Pacific Islands and they had some beverages from Hawaii that made my heart smile! The cashier is Japanese and so kind! It's a quaint little Bakery that's nestled in a strip mall next to a Middle Eastern eatery and a Barber . The pastries are fresh and they go quickly. When I arrived in the afternoon it was limited options. The sweet potato pie were in individual slices and I saw some other delightful treats: eclairs and mochi cake . read more

This bakery is truly hidden! Even with GPS it was like a maze finding it. I also wasn't expecting really small sign that says "Bakery" , with such photos of delicate and delicious cakes and pastries I was somehow picturing a huge artistic Williams O'delicious sign or banner.... There wasn't a line but with only one person taking order and manning the register, it was slow. You get a cash discount so bring your bills! I got the strawberry shortcake which came out while I waited, and an eclair. Will try them when I get home all 55 minutes away in VA Beach. read more

Desserts were awesome! We had banana bread, a cookie and a piece of chocolate strawberry shortcakecake for hubby's birthday. The cookie and the bread were still warm from the oven. It smelled so good in there and after we ate everything, we can say that the treats tasted so good! The woman who assisted us in our purchase was really personable and knowledgeable! Very good experience. read more

I was sent to this bakery by a long time customer. I was looking to get a small cake for my daughter in laws birthday as there is only 4 of us getting together. I was told that the cake was not too sweet and had a whipcream frosting. I thought it would only have strawberry slices on the inside and cannot tell you how surprised to see there was also kiwi. Now, DIL is not a fan of too sweet either (which I didn't know) but as she put it "I have not had a cake this good since I left Korea a year ago". High praise for sure. Don't be surprised if Melody sends me to get more treats for her. I am glad I didn't go when they first opened so they were not as "stocked" at 3pm or I would have left with not only the cake and the 2 cinamon rolls but some of the great looking treats I have seen on their yelp pictures. read more

The delicious treats at this bakery remind me of Phoenix Bakery in Los Angeles, AAmazing! Phoenix Bakery is a historic Chinese bakery in Los Angeles, famous for its fresh strawberry whipped cream cake and other pastries. Founded in 1938 by the Chan family, it has been a staple in the community for generations, serving both families and celebrities. The bakery is still operated by the Chan family and is known for using generation-old recipes. Thank you, Williams O' for the reminder...you do it well!!! read more

Williams O'delicious - Sweet Potato Tart, Fresh Fruit Tart, 4 Cream Puffs, Strawberry Shortcake - $24 - Bakeries Near Me - Hampton, Virginia

4 stars is for the bread pudding alone. I brought it home to share with my husband. We both agreed it was delicious cold or heated. The butter icing is definitely on the sweet side. We had some difficulty locating this bakery. Being from the south side, we aren't too familiar with the peninsula side. A tip is to go behind the strip mall where the Office Depot is located and proceed to the strip mall directly behind it. It has the sign that says "Bakery" next to a cellphone repair shop. I recommend arriving early at this bakery, as they appear to be quite popular. When we arrived after 3pm on a Saturday, the pastries were just about cleaned out. Very slim pickings which was disappointing. I was excited to come here based on recommendations from two reliable sources & the pics on their yelp business page. A near empty glass case is a good indicator that the bakery is highly favored. However, I was still dismayed by the paltry selection due to arriving much later in the day. The inside is simple & unadorned, but that doesn't impact the taste of their baked goods. You come for the goods not for the 'gram, right? However don't plan on enjoying your treats inside as it's designed more as a counter service bakery, no dining space. read more

What a gem of a bakery! I'm sad that it's on the Peninsula, but maybe that's better for my hips LOL. I had heard a few Yelpers mentioning that this was a Japanese-style (and Japanese owned) bakery, so during Spring Break, my kids and I were in the area exploring, so we stopped in before heading home. It's located inside a small strip mall. For some reason, I thought it had a dining area. It was a bit of a torture to have to drive and wait 45+ minutes to taste the goodies haha. The lady who helped us was super patient as we stood their trying to make tough decisions. - The Treats - Cinnamon Roll - Individually packed in a plastic container, the roll was super moist and the frosting abundant. It's a decent portion, it's the size of the container. Purple Sweet Potato Tart - It was just so pretty! It's a unique little tart with a kind of custard and whipped cream in the middle, piped with the purple sweet potato and edible glitter! I took pics in the sunlight and it looks magical! The crust was good too. Souffle Cheesecake - It was moist as well, and springy. It wasn't as airy as the one I had in Hawaii, but delicious nonetheless. Theirs was more on the cream cheese side, but still springy like a sponge cake. Just slightly more dense than the ones I've had in the past. Tiramisu - This is made in a cup, again decent portion. Theirs is made with cream cheese. I prefer mine with mascarpone, but it was still tasty! Hampton peeps are lucky. I would be here often if I lived nearby. Can't wait to stop in again to try more of their items! I saw that they had macarons and it's nice that they have cakes by the slice and individual tarts so you can pick a variety! Stay safe, Friends! read more

The best oatmeal raisin cookies and bread pudding locally. All desserts are fresh prepared.

We came with high hopes and we very disappointed to say the least. Not much in the way of desserts or pastries as we were led to believe but a meager choice of cookies and cake slices. Had a difficult time locating this place as it was behind some strip mall in a nondescript area with one sign that just said "Bakery" That should have been a red flag for us. But we decided to check it out given all these great reviews. We walked in and the place was spare, another red flag. So we decided, there won't be a next time as it is definitely not worth the drive up! read more

This bakery has some really cool items. I got a brownie with chocolate drizzled over the white chocolate chips and pecans. It was delicious!! They also have awesome macaroons for a relative inexpensive price ($2). I believe they vary the flavors, but during my visit they had vanilla, strawberry, and pistachio. All were good, but the pistachio is delightfully delicious!! The sweet potato pie was good, not as good as mine, but had good flavor. The whipped cream and pecan on top was a nice addition. The service was excellent. She answered all of my questions without issue. I appreciated the great customer service. They also have chocolate covered strawberries if you're feeling romantic (wink, wink). I'm going back - I want to try the purple sweet potato tart. read more

I accidentally stumbled upon a little hidden treasure in Hampton, VA...Williams O'Delicious Bakery. We were looking for a place to meet up with my daughter for her birthday and decided to meet there. This is truly the best bakery. You can smell, see, and taste the absolute deliciousness of this bakery. We tried several different items and WOW!!! The cannoli's would have my Italian friends in NY drooling. The cookies were amazing! The Strawberry Shortcake was out of this world. The owner is truly the sweetest, so thoughtful and welcoming. She makes everything fresh every day. No matter the occasion this is the bakery to go to. Best prices and quality around. I promise...you are going to thank me for this. read more

I recently discovered this place and it'll now be one of my favorite bakeries to visit. The owners are nice, there's not much space to sit around, but the desserts are delicious and so worth it. It doesn't hurt that everything is reasonably priced. 10/10 recommend. I would advice going before 3pm tho, they're sold out of most things in the evenings read more

A hidden gem marked by only a "bakery" sign into the strip mall. I stopped by on a Tuesday at about 10:00am, there was still a good selection in the cold cases. The small specialty cheesecakes are divine! I ordered a few Oreo and the last two red velvet. The Oreo cheesecake had some Oreo cookie crust in the middle. At first I thought it was a piece of Oreo cookie but it was too soft to be so. Melt in your mouth deliciousness. The red velvet cheesecake was smooth and creamy. The eclairs are covered in a delicious hard chocolate, pastry delicate and light, which went perfect with the real whipped cream middle. The chocolate ganache and strawberry shortcake are contrasting textures and flavors. Both are made with airy, light cake and creamy filling. The ganache topping is a delight to my chocolate sweet tooth. I highly recommend this bakery over any uber-decorated donut joint. read more

TWO WORDS. MOCHI. CAKE. I absolutely love love love this bakery! It's one of the only Japanese style bakeries in the area, and lemme tell you, it's delicious. I love their strawberry shortcake, it's smooth and fluffy. BUT not too sweet. Which is a good thing by the way. Why? Because the strawberries give enough sweetness to accompany the fluffy vanilla frosting. My absolute favorite is the mochi cake. Like guys. This is IT. This is the one. My one and only. FAVORITE. It's so good. What more can you ask for. It's sweet. It's chewy. It's hand held. But GUYS they do sell out. So get your mochi cake while supplies last. The owner is the sweetest person! And everyone is always so friendly. If you're ordering a cake for a birthday or other event, make sure to order like a week in advance. They are a small business, so they need to be ready to make your beautiful cake. I've been here so many times, and my photos are somewhere deep in my camera roll. Next time I go, I'll update this with some pictures! This place is a 6/5 ! read more

If you want the most delicious and light tasting cake in the Hampton Roads area, then look no further than Williams O'Delicious! I've had the pleasure of ordering two sheet cakes from them in the past year and I am so glad I came across this place. I was looking for an "Asian" style bakery that did this type of cake with fruit. For a specialty sized sheet cake, I recommend ordering it about a week in advance. Specifically, I've ordered their strawberry shortcake and it is simply amazing. It's perfectly balanced with glazed fruit on top with their light/fluffy sponge cake and whipped cream is just perfect. They can get busy on the weekends but if you have an existing order, it's typically ready at the time you requested it. The employees are friendly and they have quite a selection of desserts. I definitely want to try their roll cake on my next visit! read more

Please just go ahead and cut and paste the address into your phone then make your way over to Wiliams O'Delicious. Be careful, when you drive into the strip mall their sign just says "Bakery". This is not a fancy bakery, but freshness counts for a lot. I don't care about your browned butter, salt, chocolate chip cookies if it was baked four days ago. Everything they sell is absolutely delicious. However, they have 2 people that are working and are ALWAYS stressed. It almost like they don't want to serve their customers. As an example, the customer before me wanted cookies. The employee asked how many, and the customer responded "six". The employee's response was "we don't have that many". The customer responded "I'll take what you have". The employee returned with six cookies and said "I guess we do have six". Weird, it was like she didn't want to give them to her. I then asked for an item which wasn't ready, and instead of offering to take an order, she said nothing so I departed. Point being, they rarely have anything that you want available, so plan on ordering. It's a shame because the business could probably triple their profits with better service and more employees. Pro Tip: Go to Whole Foods. They have a huge delicious bakery, will make anything for you and customer service is AMAZING! read more

Mochi cakes. Say no more fam. Those butter mochi cakes are a game changer. I had to go to church the day after eating them because they're a sin. Other desserts that they have are refreshing as well! I've been meaning to stop in to Williams O'Delicious for some time. It's in a shopping center off Todd's Lane in Hampton and very unassuming. Upon entering the yummy fresh baked cookie smell alone will make you want to order one of everything! I ended up settling on the purple sweet potato tart, apple tart and mochi cake. The purple sweet potato tart was good, it's not an overly sweet dessert, and reminded me of a sweet potato pie but with way less sugar and no cinnamon. The mochi cake had a unique taste, again not overly sweet and had a slightly chewy texture. Our favorite was the apple tart. It was sweet with the right amount of tartness that kept you wanting another bite. I will definitely be going back to get this again and try some of their other goodies! They also had a table of discounted items from the day before such as banana bread, milk bread loaves and cookies. It's definitely worth a visit! read more
