I wish I could give them more stars! Matter o' fact they deserve diamond's too! I have not had any really Divine, delectable, sexy, gourmet, desirable exquisite morsels that make you feel like happiness, love blended with pleasure in food lol in a looong time! This little gem of a bakery did it for me! The service was exceptional. I asked if she had coffee and even the coffee was prepared better than anticipated. All of the pastries looked phenomenal. I couldn't decide. I purchased what was recommended to me plus a few extras that caught my eye and nothing disappointed. The sweet potatoes puff pastry omg, and the custard cake, well, needles to say I will return even if it's an hour and a half away! Well worth it! read more

We stopped by this bakery a few days ago and bought some fruit tarts, lemon cake, and one tiramisu cup. The fruit tart tasted light and not too sweet. The lemon cake tasted moist and lemony. The tiramisu cup tasted creamy with some cake in it and an hint of espresso. All these tasted wonderful.. The best part of it was that it was not too sugary sweet like other bakeries. Love this bakery!!! We also met the owner while we were there. Mr. William is amicable with a really nice personality!!! Thanks for the great deserts!!! read more

So yelp rates this business high, but customer service is worse than poor. I called this morning asking to come in this afternoon to get 12 individual dessert snacks--could range from cupcakes to cookies, etc. I asked what they were known for. Bottom line they said they couldn't sell me 12 of anything because they were "too busy". It's a bakery!? How odd that they wouldn't have a dozen of SOMETHING to pick up over 4 hours from now. Maybe the product is good, but we will never know. Super odd. Follow up: for those local try Scratch Bakery! They were beyond awesome!!!! read more

Celebrated my birthday 21Feb hubby gave me the Strawberry Shortcake with the fruit on top! What and impressive presentation and to top it off it was even more delicious than it looked! Wow the staff helped him pick the perfect treat! Able to enjoy it without an overload of sweetness! Will be back to enjoy the other delights! This place is such a hidden gem. They're really popular for their strawberry shortcake. It's never been anything short of amazing but recently I tried their green tea cake, cheese cake and strawberry mochi cakes and they're all amazing too. I love bakeries like this because sometimes some desserts are too sweet. I believe on Tuesdays you get 10% off. Update: I've also tried their chocolate strawberry shortcake, chocolate ganache, fruit tart, strawberry mousse cup and cream puff. I love them but the fruit tart is a must. read more

Oh Williams... I want to shout you out from the rooftops so that everyone knows how much I love you but keep you hidden all to myself at the same time. Let's start with the fact that I am not a sweets person. I am never able to finish a dessert by myself because of how unmistakable sweet they are. THOUGH I am a sucker for how CUTE and PHOTOGENIC and AESTHETIC desserts are. That's where you come in, Williams O'Delicious. It's a small Japanese owned bakery with the most amazing desserts - cakes, cupcakes, brownies, puddings, all your heart desires. Everything that I have tried so far is AMAZINGLY DECADENT and more importantly just has the right amount of sweetness. Their tarts are out of this world with the most delicate and delicious crust. Tiny little bakery tucked away in the Todd Shopping Center - it was kind of hard to find - down the way from Chanello's and near an ABC store. Inside it's really cute, but there is only one table for customers to sit and enjoy their purchases, which makes it more of a take-out sort of place. I was disappointed to see that there weren't many savory options - just sweet things. Seems to be on par with bakeries around here. So I went with a chocolate eclair and got a cupcake for the kiddo. The cupcake was tiny and it was $2.50. For the price, I've had much better -- also other local bakeries have cheaper pastries for kids. My chocolate eclair was delicious. A real, dark chocolate ganache on top and tasty cream filling. Our experience was okay, so we may be back in. Just wish they had more selection. read more

I've been meaning to stop in to Williams O'Delicious for some time. It's in a shopping center off Todd's Lane in Hampton and very unassuming. Upon entering the yummy fresh baked cookie smell alone will make you want to order one of everything! I ended up settling on the purple sweet potato tart, apple tart and mochi cake. The purple sweet potato tart was good, it's not an overly sweet dessert, and reminded me of a sweet potato pie but with way less sugar and no cinnamon. The mochi cake had a unique taste, again not overly sweet and had a slightly chewy texture. Our favorite was the apple tart. It was sweet with the right amount of tartness that kept you wanting another bite. I will definitely be going back to get this again and try some of their other goodies! They also had a table of discounted items from the day before such as banana bread, milk bread loaves and cookies. It's definitely worth a visit! read more

As someone who has traveled all over the states and overseas I would say the strawberry shortcake fell short of expectations. My wife and I had both the regular and chocolate strawberry shortcake and while the whip cream was good, the cake itself was tasteless. The chocolate didn't even taste like chocolate. I would have gave this place 1 star, however, their customer service was great. I am not sure if the baker had a bad day or if there is a new recipe. Either way, we were sadly disappointed after reading all the great reviews for this place. Hope something changes because this place seems to have changed a bit and has a lot of potential. read more

The strawberry shortcake from this bakery is on-par or even better than the cakes I used to buy in Japan, which is impossible to find in the States. Everything that I've tried has been absolutely delicious, from the cakes to cream puffs. While there isn't much seating, there are a few seats where you can sit and enjoy some cake and coffee. I honestly would recommend this Japanese bakery over the Japanese bakeries I have tried in New York or the Korean bakeries throughout NoVA. If you are a fan of Asian-style cakes, this is a must-try location. read more

So far everything I tried there were really tasty and the amount of sweetness were just right. My only complaint is the lady who works there. Her attitude definitely could've been better. However I don't go there to be her friend so I will continue to go there for the awesome cakes and mochi. read more

Great find in Hampton! We absolutely loved our treats. We're from Texas, where flan is a staple. This dessert had cake, perfectly made flan and sweet fruit along with something in between (sorry, I was too busy devouring it to take note). My husband got the Chocolate Ganache cake. It was light and delicious! One thing I really appreciated was that nothing was icky sweet and we didn't spoil our dinner by having dessert first. Prices were very reasonable so you'll be able to enjoy a treat more often without feeling guilty. Loved every bite! read more

This is my favorite bakery!! American cakes are just too sweet for me and I feel like eating nothing but the sugar. Their cakes are just right. They are moist, delicate, beautiful, and lots of fruits. I drove 45 minutes just to buy their cakes!! It worth it! I tried the key lime and strawberry cupcake it was Soo moist and delicious the strawberry icing had chunks of strawberry in it which made it everything! The strawberry shortcake and chocolate strawberry shortcake was also very good not too sweet had plenty of fruits in it I loved the icing and the cake was spongy in a really good way. I couldn't give this place a 5 star because we also ordered the Cinnabon and it was awful.. Very dough-y like it wasn't cooked all the way? But will come back for more cakes and cupcakes! read more

This is my favorite place to go...I make it my 2015 new year resolution to try everything they have on the menu. I think I'm half way there lol. My vanilla cupcake was hard, and the icing for all were not too sweet. I prefer sweet icing. These were more of a whipped icing. But, that's just preference. Each cupcake was $4.50, which I think was spot on. They were bigger in size. I don't think I'll be getting anything else from the bakery at this time. There are so many cute, fun items in the store. I plan to stop back to get a few things I saw. Once I was done at the bakery store side I headed over for lunch. I was seated at a booth, chair combo seating. The booth was really comfortable. Our waiter was really good. He was attentive made sure our drinks were filled. He answered any questions we had. My starter was the Chesapeake Bay crab dip. That dip was one of the best I have had! Melty cheese, with wonderful flavor! It came out piping hot a d was paired with crispy yet soft pita rounds. I opted for the BBQ Brisket on a sweet potato bun. The bun was really delicious. I was happy the waiter informed me that this was not a hand held sandwich, but more of a fork and knife kind of dish. My side was a salad. The lemon dressing was amazing. My friend also had the same dressing and she raved about it as well. Over I'd like to return and try out more dishes and maybe some of their breakfast items I've heard good things about the Brunswick stew as well . The location is in Phebus and I think it is a really great area to be at .

I would say you could study inside lol. During the day it might not seem much but once the sun sets, the interior is vibrant and truly reminds me of LA. As for the food, it is phenomenal! Drinks are made right after you order. Food is cooked once ordered. I'm happy everything they make is made fresh and never microwaved. I always buy their bulgogi banh mi with a drink of thai tea. Vegetables in the banh mi are fresh, the meat is cooked perfectly, and the bread is crisp and delicious. The thai tea is served with a perfect amount of ice so if the ice were to melt, it does not hinder the taste and make it watery. This place makes me feel at home back over in LA. When we were there, a group of young Moms were enjoying coffee as their Children enjoyed a play area just steps away from their Moms. The atmosphere was welcoming with pictures of the Old Ocean View Amusement park which was like a walk down memory lane for this Norfolk girl having spent many days at the park as a young child. A very pleasant employee greeted us as we arrived. I chose the S'mores latte which was absolutely phenomenal, as was the snickerdoodle cookie. The egg scramblers in the display case looked so good, we got those to take home with us. I will definitely be returning to this gem. On the way out I noticed a water bowl just outside the front door for dogs. Great coffee and pet friendly, who could ask for more?
