The line was almost out the door for almost being end of the day. This mom and pop place was super cute and their story of their brown lab. You can even find a brown lab statue out front. All the ice cream sizes have cute dog names. For a second I thought I was about to order a dog ice cream. I did the 1 scoop cup and wow was it huge. The workers let me try the flavors I was debating between. I went with the banana pudding ice cream. It resembled banana pudding so well, but in ice cream. Great job! We always stop when we're in town before we head back across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge tunnel. It's a nice treat to have before getting on the road for an hour drive. Whenever we've stopped by service was always quick and easy. They have plenty of flavors to pick from and they're also available out in town. I love that they have a pick up and order window outside via sidewalk access. Brown dog seems to be a town favorite in Cape Charles. They are pretty popular. Whether you're looking for ice cream and a cone or a dish they have you covered.

It was SO good! Large portion in a cup - easily enough for two people to share and price is fair at around $4.50. We liked it so much we came back again after dinner the next night, just as good, same friendly lady, same wonderful service. This is an easygoing, no-nonsense spot with cute seating outside and some great flavor combos as well as some other items. I received a call not long after to let me know that a couple of things I ordered were out of stock, and appropriate suggestions for replacements were made for a couple of the salts. My order shipped in two parts since one item - the 25 star balsamic - was out of stock but due to arrive soon, and it shipped as soon as they got it in. Everything was packaged incredibly well and arrived promptly. My purchases in the past have always been of incredibly high-quality, and even though I am gifting my purchases this year, I know I am sure they are the exact same quality I've come to love from Drizzles.
