I always try to double check online to expedite my order. I ordered a tofu bowl with the sweet sesame sauce since it appeared to be vegan online. I ordered my bowl to go since I was on the way to the beach. I got to the car and looked at my bowl and realized the sauce looked creamy based. I called to confirm if the sauce was vegan and was told it was not. It was my mistake for not confirming what google said, so I went in and purchased another bowl. I just wanted to post this to let others know that the only VEGAN sauce they have for the poke bowl is the Thai Peanut. Regardless, the bowl was a decent portion size and tasted fantastic.

We drove to Eastville on a Saturday morning because we found this adorable coffee shop, Buttercups, online. Although we only tried a cookie, no other food, the sweet potato snickerdoodle was to die for! So soft & flavorful! The ice lattes were delicious & we enjoyed sitting outside on the nice porch. The shop was very busy for a late Saturday morning, but the service was super friendly & we moved through the line quickly.

Jennifer was pleasant and took our drink orders, but it was about 10 minutes before we got our drinks and placed our food order. The appetizers took about 20 minutes to arrive. We ordered a dozen fresh oysters, but only 10 came out. We had to ask for the other two once we were finally able to get someone's attention. Making a joke that the kitchen could not count to 12. The food was really slow coming out. The calamari and crab soup were great, and the sausage and pulled pork were delicious. The ribs, unfortunately, were not a favorite. We decided to stop here because there was no wait, but honestly, we might as well have waited at the harbor. The food was good overall, but the service and wait times definitely took away from the experience. Seems to be a kitchen help issue more than anything.

The smell of smoke hits you as soon as you step out of the car--which is always a great sign. We were greeted and seated quickly, and our waitress was attentive from the start. She walked us through the highlights and shared a few of her personal favorites, which was a nice touch. We kicked things off with the Oyster Rockefeller. The oysters themselves were nearly perfect, though the dish leaned a bit salty. Still, a solid start. The crab soup was good as well--also slightly on the salty side, which could just come down to personal preference. Now to the burnt ends--one of my go-to orders anywhere. I'm happy to say these didn't disappoint. Like others have mentioned, the brisket was a touch dry but still impressively tender and full of flavor. The BBQ nachos were messy in the best way and packed with flavor--definitely a hit, especially with my son. As for the slaw, we were told it would be "wet," but it's actually on the drier side, so keep that in mind depending on your preference. Overall, a really enjoyable stop with good food and friendly service. We'd definitely come back again.

When it was time to pay, the employee simply turned the iPad toward me for payment and walked away without saying a word. After completing the transaction, I stood there waiting, but there was still no interaction. I ended up turning the iPad back around myself and leaving. The ice cream was decent, but the complete lack of customer service and basic courtesy made the experience disappointing. A simple greeting and a "thank you" would have gone a long way.

The decor was so cute The shop is small, you can eat inside, but I am sure it does become crowded. There is a bench outside the shop. There is the cutest cow bench as well inside. When we walked in we order quick. I got a strawberry milkshake to try and share, the reeses pieces ice cream and at the last minute I noticed "wooder" ice! Good ol Philadelphia treat. I highly recommend getting the water ice, I enjoyed the cotton candy flavor. They did have cherry,, and mango flavors as well. Not that reeses flavor was sooooo good. It had great peanut butter flavor with a few reeses pieces to enjoy. The strawberry shake had chunks of strawberries in it and the cup was laced with strawberry syrup/sauce. The two employees working when I was there were a lot of fun. They helped guide us on their flavors. They put in a lot of effort to make my strawberry shake look and taste yummy.
