Delicious bagels, delicious cream, cheese, options, coffee, and other Yummies. Worth the side trip.

We were camping in Cape Charles & wanted to find a nice coffee shop where we could sit outside & relax. We drove to Eastville on a Saturday morning because we found this adorable coffee shop, Buttercups, online. Although we only tried a cookie, no other food, the sweet potato snickerdoodle was to die for! So soft & flavorful! The ice lattes were delicious & we enjoyed sitting outside on the nice porch. The shop was very busy for a late Saturday morning, but the service was super friendly & we moved through the line quickly.

A wonderful shop across from the Courthouse Green that serves breakfast and lunch. We came in for lunch. The staff was friendly and helpful. The sandwiches were fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. The turkey-sliced apple bagel was beautifully balanced. There is ample outdoor seating protected by umbrellas on the street, awning in a grassy lot and a roof over a stage.

Always great food and drinks here! Super friendly service. The strawberry matcha was perfect for Valentine's Day. Get the Gladys bagel....you won't be disappointed!

Orange juice and dream loaf bagel sandwich

Stopped by this place on the way back from VA Beach and am so glad that we did! Found Buttercups on Yelp and decided to check it out. Ordered two dream loafs one with meat loaf and one without and BOTH were AMAZING AND FRESH! Also ordered a cup of orange juice and it was the best orange juice I've ever had that was also FRESH! Service was awesome and everyone was really nice. Will return next time I'm in the area! They also serve chocolate chip cookies which I can't wait to taste! If you're passing through the area or are in the area, stop by you won't be disappointed!

Great little place in the heart of Eastville. A gourmet take on biscuits and other breakfast and brunch fare. Definitely worth a stop.

Ordered drinks and a large pizza, half plain; half peppers and pepperoni, extra thin crust. Look, we are from NY so, yeah, we are a little pizza snobby. But, tbh, this pizza was really tasty! Was it brick oven neapolitan worthy? No, but this isn't a brick oven joint and doesn't claim to be. Full disclosure: we drove by the Deadrise in Cape Charles and had no patience for an hour wait. And that, too, was understandable. It was Friday night, Memorial Day weekend! The staff here was warm and welcoming, crowd was friendly, we liked watching the pool players and left happy and full. Recommend!

We popped in for a casual beer break, and it quickly turned into one of the highlights of the day. The space itself is gorgeous! It's open, airy and designed with a laid-back coastal vibe that fits Cape Charles perfectly. You order both beer and food inside at the counter, which keeps things easy and low- key. I went with the Pilsner, and it was exactly what I wanted, perfect after a day out exploring. Their beer list has something for everyone, whether you're into lighter options or something with a bit more depth. We didn't order food this time, but everything coming out of the kitchen looked incredible. They've got plenty of options like burgers, nachos, and other brewery favorites that definitely seemed worth trying next time. What really stood out was the atmosphere. There was so much going on in the best way. They had a dog adoption event happening outside while we were there, which added such a fun, community-driven vibe. They also host live music and other events regularly, so it feels like there's always something to check out. The outdoor space is huge and perfect if you're with a group or bringing kids. There's a fire pit, games like cornhole, and plenty of room to spread out and hang for a while. Definitely the kind of place you plan to stop at for one drink and end up staying much longer. I will be adding this to my must visit list anytime I'm on the Eastern Shore.

This place takes the order when you walk in, then you seat yourself until your food is brought you. There was about a 5 minute wait before we placed our order, and another 10 before we received our food. You will notice at first glance that this place is in dire need of a makeover. However, don't let that sway you from dining here because, the food was pretty darn good. I ordered 1/2 rack of ribs, Potato Salad, Mac & Cheese, and Cornbread. The ribs were tender, tasty and not drowning in BBQ sauce ...LUV IT!!!!...The Mac & Cheese was good, but needed to be warmed up. They use real cheddar, which is what I prefer, and not a Velveeta creamy type cheese like most establishments. The potato salad was decent, and the Cornbread was sweet, fluffy, & hot. The only issue that I had with this meal was the temp of the Mac & Cheese when it was served to me. It could've been a lil warmer. The other issue was that they did not have any Chicken or Fish menu items . However, we did visit on a holiday weekend 1 hour before they were closing: The wait staff here was great..I could not give this place 5 stars due to the need for renovations in the establishment and the temp of my Mac & Cheese. But this is a place worthy of visiting, just don't have too high expectations..
