Birthday cake remix. Birthday cake ice cream with brownie chunks and fudge sauce.
    Mike H.

Was listening to music at the seafood place across the way and decided to get some ice cream. Now, I haven't been to cold stone in years but I'm so glad I did. It definitely hit the spot. The young lady named Italia behind the counter was very friendly and accommodating. I got the birthday cake remix without sprinkles; so good. Thank you Italia!

Husband and I came at 9:15PM and their hours are listed to be open until 9:30 both online and on the front door but they were closed. It's fine if you want to close at 9 but you should post the correct hours so people don't waste their time and gas driving here.

I came in at 9:20 pm before they close at 9:30 on 07/10 and the two girls there said they were just serving ice cream NO toppings. ( doesn't make any sense since people come in for there specialty ice creams ) they also seemed bothered they had a last min rush come in after me. Cold stones please do better.

The human have stopped here for ice cream. We've had good experiences , customer service has been good, place looks decently clean. The ice cream is good. Only 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's a bit overpriced for what you get. Still recommend for your sugar cravings. 4 bones. Woof!

    love it!

This is a good Cold Stone location! The worker made our ice cream fast & she was very nice. The place is clean & everything is stocked (no missing flavors)!

I've been a fan of Wanderlust ice cream since I first tried them at a Yelp Elite event back in 2016. I also really love the Sawtelle location and so I was super excited when I found out they were opening one in Torrance! Located at Rolling Hills Plaza, this spot is a great place for an afternoon treat or late night dessert. I stopped by to get my favorite Sticky Rice + Mango flavored ice cream. Walking in this place smells like heaven. I instantly loved the sweet smell the moment I walked in. I loved getting a scoop of my ice cream in their ube waffle cup. For an extra $1.50, this added an extra sweet touch. The Sticky Rice + Mango definitely hit the spot. It was so tasty and fruity. Paired with the ube waffle cup, it was the perfect summer treat. Overall, it was one sweet day visiting here and since it is still National Ice Cream month, I may just need to visit again ;).

A lot of it is Asian inspired and as an Asian American it really hits home. My favorites are the Japanese Neapolitan, mango sticky rice, and kinder. They also cycle flavors every month so we go try different flavors a lot. The store is clean and staff is very friendly. You can pretty much try all the flavors but don't get greedy cuz you won't know which one to get!

Crack in a Cup - Me- Vietnamese iced coffee with a lil twist. Kinda dalgona‑ish? Kinda bitter? Maybe that's just my taste buds being dramatic. 8/10 still loved it tho. Three fluffy stacks with caramelized banana chunks. Moist, flavorful, chef knew exactly what they were doing. Me: 8.5/10 Slight bitterness for me, but still a banger. Sonny: 8.5/10 Very banana‑y. (dalgona vibes??) Forking Around Filipino Burrito -This burrito was THICK. Like "has its own gravitational pull" thick. A whole fiesta rolled up. Me: 10/10 Might be my new favorite burrito. My wife and I had an enjoyable breakfast experience, tasting some unique dishes that are worth coming in for. We had a real early errand in the Lomita area, so wanted to take advantage by trying a different breakfast place. They have a really informative website, explaining the owning family's participation and how some of their food is sourced. It's a brunch place (open from 8 am to 2/3 pm, Tu-Su), so needed to wait a bit outside (street parking only, found one hour free parking right in front since coming so early). Menus are available at the front counter, and you place and pay (clover) for your order first. The food came out soon after, delivered to your table. There is a self-serve water jug in the same area as take-as-you-need take-out containers (also saw a self-serve costco-size plastic wrap box for wrapping...such a Korean thing to do). Utensils and napkins are available at the table to take for need. I really like places like this that have optimized the service experience, getting what you need without having to track someone down. Forking Around's Filipino Burrito ($18.95) - a collab with the food influencer 'Forking Around' to put into a breakfast burrito, many common ingredients from a Filipino breakfast. This includes egg, garlic fried rice as base and a vegetable lumpia with longanisa pieces, wrapped in a good flour tortilla. Sides were both a cilantro lime crema and a well made sawsawan. The sausage was not too sweet nor too red (though perhaps a bit too meatloaf-like), and the lumpia in the burrito worked for me. Korean Breakfast with bulgogi and steamed rice ($19.95) - it was served in a cast-iron skillet and the pan had been heated up greatly...super hot when served and still warm by the time we left. The flavor of the bulgogi was solid, and I loved the presentation. Taco Truck Burrito ($17.95) - korean-style al pastor pork, with pineapple and kimchi fried rice and egg. It was good....forgot to ask if the meat was really cooked on a vertical rotisserie. Came with a good chipotle salsa and lime crema. We were done in 30 minutes, from entry to exit. It wasn't too busy, so asked the front-of-house lead where the longanisa sausage and lumpia were made...she stated that it was all in-house. That's really impressive, making an ingredient from scratch that is only used in one dish. This and the elegant presentation and longevity really shows that the entire team behind bites & bashes cafe (catering) knows what they are doing.

When scanning the shops for a caffeination boost, I couldn't stop thinking about the "Over Caffeinated Cold Brew Float" I saw advertised at Moom Maam. So intriguing! I circled back and ordered the indulgent morning treat, slightly skeptical of such a mix. I'm happy to report though that yes, it was a monstrosity to have first thing in the morning but I'd do it again in a second. You get to pick what flavor gelato is in the coffee and I went with chocolate to which they replied, great choice! I agree, it was such a good mix with the cold coffee brew. The gelato was so creamy with amazing flavor, I can't wait to come back and try more off their menu!

Luckily this was one of the stands that had good reviews, so I gave it a shot. Between the language barrier and my excitement for dessert, I somehow ended up ordering more than I planned. The ice cream was good and the Asian-inspired flavors were definitely different from the usual. It didn't completely blow my socks off, but it was a solid treat. I kept thinking a little syrup or extra topping would've taken it up another level. Overall, glad I tried it. Half the fun of these food events is randomly discovering stuff you normally wouldn't eat anyway. I'd probably check out their Torrance brick-and-mortar location sometime and give them another shot.
