Employees were very polite but clearly lacked proper training. The ingredients were not even mixed up, which- the fact that they mix it right in front of you on a COLD STONE is the namesake of the business and the single aspect that allows them to charge 20$ for two ice creams. When I say they weren't mixed, I mean there was one cookie dough wafer added to the ice cream and it was literally cut in half once. So two half wafers, none of the other ingredients mixed at all. Love the smoothies and have been working in the area so I have gone 2 times after work. First time I watched them low on pineapple and so the smoothies tasted like straight milk. Second time the girl looked new and tried asking questions to the guy but he wasn't in a helping mood, was so thick that it wasn't blended and got chunks of ice stuck in straw constantly. I have never been so excited as I was the day that it was nice enough to go to Cold Stone. The lovely Cotton Candy ice cream really spoke to my wanting it to be spring/summer. I always think that I want to try another flavor, but I always go to my one true love, Cotton Candy. The bright blue color, the delicious taste. Went here today and no dirty nails!! The staff (just the lady that was helping me) was really friendly and my ice cream was good. One thing that I found extremely odd and kinda inappropriate was the fact that one of the ladies working there asked my husband and I if we were at the hospital last night when her boyfriend got SHOT!! 0_o I must have gave her that "wth, have you lost your mind" look because she tried to explain really fast. This is how our conversation went - Crazy lady : Were you guys at the hospital last night Me: .... what?! Crazy lady: You look like that couple that was in the emergency room when my boyfriend got shot Me: No, we weren't at the hospital last night. Wait, your boyfriend got SHOT?!?! Its a nice chain this location is very clean, and spacious. The staff are very friendly, and the selection is very wide for anything your craving. But its very over priced for ice cream, and its not even like the gourmet stuff. Just the store bought stuff. Also they only do what's on the menu, so if you ask for a banana split or some kinda custom sundae then they can't do it. The location is good too, a big lot for parking and there are other restaurants/gas station there so its convenient to stop. They also do not sing at this location when they get a tip. read more

Horrible! First, the two young women who worked there were in a terrible mood. Never welcomed us, never cracked a smile. Next, the music was so loud you could literally not hear the other person I was with speak. When the server took my order, she could barley hear me as well. Let me add that the music was not of the family friendly kind. I ordered my flavor of ice cream but the server never asked me what toppings I wanted. When I asked for toppings, m & M's and Kit Kat, she actually gave me five m & M's and about a centimeter of Kit Kat. The other woman I was with changed her mind on ordering and said it was too loud to even think. Two other women were in line just behind us and they also complained it was too loud and they walked out without ordering.
