I do not recommend the Gibsonia Bruster's location. I ordered a chocolate Fudge Brownie ice cream and the product I received did not match the picture. There was no fudge on top/side of the ice cream, only a small amount of fudge on the bottom and one small brownie at the bottom (unlike the picture which showed multiple brownies on the side as well)! I asked a staff member if I could get a little fudge swirled on top and she told me that would cost extra (in addition to the $7 I already paid.) When I told her the product I received didn't match the picture she still refused to add fudge to the top of the dessert without an extra charge and rudely closed the window on me and didn't want to discuss it further. Brusters is the bomb! On a hot evening after dinner, there's nothing better than some old fashioned ice cream in a waffle cone. 4 stars because the parking lot is kind of weird and they don't take punch cards anymore (but they do have a new loyalty rewards app). My advice for the parking situation is to use caution when entering and drive straight to the back of the lot to park. This will ensure that you don't get caught in a place where you can't park or turn around. Also, I wish they had double Oreo chocolate ice cream when we went, I had to settle for regular Oreo chocolate, it was still good. Brusters is always consistent and the servers are always friendly. Avoid this Bruster's. The lines are uncontrolled and management is rude beyond belief. When I had a problem on a Saturday night (FOUR customers being served ahead of me because of their idiotic line placement), I asked to speak with the manager, "Glenn," who wasn't there (on a Saturday night?!?). When I called him the next day with my complaint and *suggestions for improving the situation*, he didn't listen to a word I said. After I'd spoken, he said, "*I* have a problem with *you*", told me he'd *reviewed my visit on their CCTV system* (CREEPY), and yelled at me for being a crappy customer--because I got frustrated with an idiotic serving system and asked for the manager. Lack of common courtesy among customers is not the establishment's fault, but it IS within the establishment's ability to address VERY EASILY. Patronize another location or, better, another establishment. If you go, make sure to pick the SHORTEST line with the FEWEST customers, because that's the only way you'll be served in a timely fashion. Whatever you do, don't try to speak with the manager, who should not be in any position where he interacts with customers. I agree with other reviews on here--if you are on Rt 8 N and want ice cream, stop at one of the many drugstores or convenience stores and buy a pint. You'll get it much faster, much cheaper, and without anyone questioning you as a person and a customer. read more

This was by far the WORST experience I have ever had. My family and I ordered ice cream from this location and when we opened the bag the orders were completely wrong however the worst part was that the cookie dough ice cream I ordered with no additional toppings was covered in nuts. I am allergic to nuts and had I not noticed this could have been a serious consequence from ordering from there. They never answer their phone so we had to throw away our order without getting a dime back because there was no one to talk to to refund us. I understand this is a difficult time for business and this is the reason we support our local vendors as much as we can. However when it comes to blatant disregard for the health and safety of the customer I need to say something so this doesn't happen to anyone else. If they cannot get 1 of 4 separate orders right and are risking customers lives and safety I cannot imagine they are taking any Covid precautions at all. Stopped at the new Bruster's last week and wow it was great! The store is very clean and so many flavors to choose from. The server told me they make the ice cream fresh in small batches in the store every day. I had sea salt carmel and choc rasp truffle a quart each to go. I have always enjoyed Bruster's, but I am surprised by the downsizing of the waffle cones and the upticking of the price. For more than $3, my wife got two very small scoops of ice cream in a small (and I mean small) and I received a waffle cone nearly 2 inches shorter (and I mean shorter) than any other waffle cone I have gotten at this Bruster's or any of the others in the Pittsburgh area. The cone was $4.95 with two small scoops of ice cream. They are other ice cream places in this area where for the same amount of money, one gets substantially more and the ice cream is just as good. I purchased an ice cream cake from this location, and my oldest son pulled a piece of hard, jagged plastic from his mouth that was buried in the ice cream! This would have been Extremely dangerous if swallowed. When I called the store, my response was that it is part of the plastic container and happens A lot!? Once is enough for brusters to think about changeling their packaging! This is very disturbing. The owner himself never contacted me to discuss the issue.
