She has been super frustrated with the lack of someone giving good customer service and giving her a refund. She has talked to them 4 times, as well as in person on 10/18 at pickup.

The swirl is done well - there are no big pockets in the bread. The crumb is compact but not dense. It is easy to slice and enjoyable toasted or as is. I ate it alone, with nut butter, with jam. It would be wonderful as french toast. I dream about the bread and wish I lived closer to purchase it once a week. I also got a gingerbread man cookie which was perfectly seasoned and not dry. Note that the customer area in the front is kind of small so this place is mostly for take-out. I'd like to come back and try more things to see how well they do their other baked goods.

And we went back for more, and luckily we got there in time for their last thing of cinnamon rolls. And I decided to try their Jalapeño Bread, which was good. The staff at the stand were really friendly. We decided to take at least a week break from the Issaquah Farmers Market, because we've been overdoing it on the pastries, but I'm sure we'll be back soon, or at least checkout their shop.

Will Kroger now audit their receipts from this week to alert those other customers about potential overcharge on their orders too? Somehow, I doubt that. While I do expect my overcharge of nearly $10 be refunded to me, the underlying problem seems much more disturbing to me.

The market is held on Saturdays from May to September at Pickering Barn which is across the street from Costco. There is free parking in the Costco employee parking garage. It tends to fill up later in the day, so I try to go early to beat the rush. What I like the most is that the produce is fresh, local and at reasonable prices. There is no need to shop at the grocery for vegetables that the market has. Though if organic produce is important to you, this is more of a challenge as I think only one stand is certified organic. But I am fine getting produce here organic or not. Shopping here makes for a good start to my Saturday morning in the summer.

I grabbed my doughnuts and waited for my coffee but instead, Baddie waited on the next guest. I had to remind her that I ordered a coffee. She then went to the coffee machines and started to make coffee. She did not communicate to me at all that it would take some time to brew coffee. This is a doughnut shop. WTF? No fresh coffee? As more guests came in, a manager asked what she was doing and he explained that there was already a full urn of coffee. She didn't bother to even check. I finally got my coffee and left. This was not a good experience and I expect more from a KK which is what I get at other locations.
