Purchased a cheesy (like focaccia) bread here at Issaquah Farmers market. You could see the steam inside the bags to tell us it was freshly made! We ate most of it when we got home. It had a great balance of not too much cheese and fresh bread. We finished it up the next day with it sitting in our pantry and was just as good. $7.50 well spent supporting a local small business.

My mom's 80th birthday cake was a hit!! It was beautifully decorated and delicious. I live out of state and I was grateful for such artistry. I strongly recommend this bakery.

I'm SO DISAPPOINTED! I was so excited to support this local business. I ordered 2 smash cakes. The cake decorator and I communicated over text. The ONLY really specific thing I wanted was to have PASTEL rainbow. I sent a few pictures for reference. She seemed to understand. When I picked up the cakes they were really dark in color and the frosting was sloppy. She told me if I didn't like the cakes I " didn't have to take them!" It felt like a really snarky rude response. I didn't want to offend her but it was not at all what we discussed. She told me that I could "just go to a grocery store then" I'm sorry on time. The party is tomorrow. I feel like she could have had better customer service and probably should charge for "decorating" if the cake looks like this. $120.00

We were waiting for our friends for lunch so decided to check this place out. It's a little off the main downtown Issaquah area and in this weird little corridor, so you would definitely miss it if you aren't looking for it. Anyways, we asked the lady what was good and what she recommended and we ended up with the chocolate zucchini bread with walnuts and the orange and apricot bread. Both were ok. My friends and I like the orange and apricot better just because of the citrusy flavor. The zucchini bread was too crumbly. It would be a messy eat. But nothing really special. I might come back to try their savory breads or their cupcakes/cookies to see

We bought a 6 inch cake here for about $30? The sponge cake was super dry. The icing was fine. It was a basic cake. I was trying to support local business. See my photos. They do have challah bread which I will need to try next time.

We wanted a baseball themed cake with the typical red, white and blue signature color scheme for my son's first birthday. What we got was not along those lines. The blue was like an ocean blue rather than the navy blue as shown on the photo we sent. Didn't go with our cake topper nor banner nor any other blue we would have thought acceptable. The flavoring we chose was almond with the strawberry filling and buttercream frosting. We picked up the day before serving, cut in to the cake, and it was dry. We stored it as we were told as well. When we reached out to the bakery, she said the color could not be made as the dye would seep in to the flavor of the cake. We did get an apology however, she mentioned she 'intentionally' used less dye due to the flavor transferring. Had I known the color would be off and the cake would be dry, I would not have ordered from the bakery. I attached our 'desired' cake with the name Jackson and a photo of what we received with the name Nolan.

Tiny little family owned bakery in Front Street...a blink and you'll miss it kind of place. It's a great place to get breads and loaves, but if you're looking for a beautifully decorated dessert created by someone who went to pastry school then you're out of luck. Everything's very basic, rounds of soft breads with different flavors, sticky buns, cookies, and brownies. I'm really not fond of basic desserts like just a chocolate chip cookie so it's not my kind of place, but everything tastes on point. I really don't have the biggest sweet tooth so if I'm going to eat a dessert, I want it to be the best one ever with complex flavors and a little something extra. Their bread is where they really excel though! No preservatives or anything, so if you buy one then MAKE SURE you refrigerate it. Assuming you have anything left. I have a big love affair with their jalapeño bread so if you can take the heat then get it.

My boyfriend ordered a cake for my birthday. It was delicious! Chocolate cake with mocha icing. They also added a drawing of my dog, which was adorable. Good cake, east ordering and east pick up. Would highly recommend

Each of us ordered a slice of crepe cake, which felt like a perfect way to end the night. Out of the seven slices, my husband's slice was still frozen in the middle. I walked up to the counter where two young guys were working and politely asked if we could get a different slice, since everyone else was already seated and eating. Instead of acknowledging me, they immediately started speaking Chinese to each other without even a simple "one moment" or any indication they were discussing the issue, so I eventually just walked back to our table. About five minutes later, after they had apparently consulted with a woman in the back, one of the guys finally came over and told us they would not exchange the slice because my husband had already tried it. We were all just sitting there, honestly dumbfounded. A basic level of customer service would have been to apologize and swap one slice of cake, especially when you have a whole group there to celebrate. You didn't just refuse to replace a frozen slice of cake--you lost seven customers over the way you handled it. We will not be coming back.

There are a handful of tables which is nice and plenty of parking in the shared lot. My friends frequent this place since it is in Issaquah and convenient. The drinks are a little more classy than your average boba shop. I like that they offer seasonal flavors and on my last visit, I tried their sweet potato one that was their seasonal fall flavor and it was excellent. The drinks are maybe a little on the pricey side, but I enjoy the proper unique flavors and that their drinks are made well. If you ever find yourself in Issaquah and wanting some boba, this is the place to go!! There really aren't a lot of other places to go honestly. Located in a small business strip in Issaquah across from the Gilman Village, parking is easy to find in the lot, but it can be limited with the space and other businesses around. Inside, the shop is very cute, with pastel decore, velvet seats and tables, and plenty of places for photo ops. I ordered the ube matcha latte and the seasonal pandan donut, which were both good. I love ube, so was glad to know that they make their own ube flavoring here, which was the best part of the drink. I also liked the pandan donut, but it was very sweet and rich. The menu offers a lot to choose from, with different drinks and treats, including those you can see in the case, such as the ube cookie, ube basque cheesecake, etc. Glad to know Bobae has another spot on the Eastside, making it easy for me to get to.

I thought this was the better of the two cookies. I could feel its density throughout - there was a ton of weight to each bite. I also really like how the outside was baked hard and not soft, like the Cannoli one The icing was decent but I would've expected more of it. My favorite part about this was the white chocolate chips - which felt incredibly satisfying to bite into and tasted really good Wish the cookie contained more of them Out of the two, this was really the only one that had a crunch The Cannoli cookie disappointed me. First, the filling was really minimal compared to the rest of the cookie. It felt like it was 90% the outer cookie and 10% the cannoli filling on each bite The outside was ok - it was somewhat crumbly but tasted fine - but there was just a lot of it - and since there were no chocolate chips or any other fillings in the meat of the cookie other than just the dough - it got a bit old just getting like 90% dough You really don't taste the filling at all until you get to the edge of the cookie - where it combines well with the chocolate chips At this point, where I could actually taste the filling, I found it to be quite flavorful Unfortunately, I missed out on this taste for the majority of the remaning cookie Overall, I thought these cookies were probably good overall, but not worth the $5 price tag for each and certainly not worth the 600 and 760 calories respectively for each one
