It seemed like a full sized store, but the ice cream and toppings choices were few. It's all standard ice cream, but less. Service was perfect, the people were nice and alert. It just seemed less excited. Usually you go to an ice cream shop you're excited about it. The ice cream was not exciting, nor were the toppings. The place felt and looked run down a bit, perhaps it just felt that way.

My go-to for birthday cakes. I am able to preorder online what I want, and go to pick it up. Super quick and convenient. Always come out beautiful and delicious. Workers are always friendly. Our new favorite is the, 'there's peanut butter on my chocolate' ice cream pie. Sooo good and a great dessert to bring to parties! We also enjoy the strawberry blonde, in the gotta have it size. Tip, due to it being an ice cream shop, it's relatively cooler inside, so may need a jacket for fall and winter months. Usually quick line and not as busy as it was back in the day. I am sure it gets busier as it gets warmer. Chill hangout spot in the Gresham station area.

Half Silk Chocolate and Mint that SHOULD have been mixed together

As a former Cold Stone Creamery manager that trained at this location, I am extremely disappointed by the quality provided by the team members at the Gresham location! My wife and I created our own Love It (medium size) half Silk chocolate and half mint ice cream with Oreos mixed in. When the team member finished scooping up the Silk Chocolate ice cream, she directly went to the mint ice cream with the same ice cream scooper without even washing it - talk about a health hazard for those with allergies! What was also disappointing is the lack of effort in mixing the ice cream because it felt like an ice cream sandwich without the bread! She crushed the Oreos a few times and then folded the two flavors together. The best part of all this, we paid $6.50 for it. Even though I am over 10 years removed from the Cold Stone Creamery days, I will always remember how difficult any chocolate ice cream can be to mix because of how often we replaced it from the freezer but asking someone to pay $6.50 for an ice cream "sandwich" with nearly full Oreos is saddening.

If you have a birthday bogo don't bother using it! My husband and I got two love it sized ice creams for my birthday and were different of course but when I went to the counter to redeem it they told me they had to be the same flavor which is nonsense I've used this bogo before and has never required that. I asked what the restrictions were and the staff are so incompetent that they couldn't tell me any of the restrictions for future use. So they told me just look at the website and I did but there are no mentions of any restrictions under birthday bogo at all. They robbed me of my money and made a sour finish to my birthday by having an argument with the staff over their incompetence.

Dropped in for a cool treat after brunch. The staff was friendly and the service was very fast. The store was also clean and well kept. Covid guidelines are well established as well. I decided to go with making my own creation and it was sweet and delicious. The staff did a great job.

So it's a Cold Stone - they've been around a long time and you pretty much know what you're getting. I've always had good service here. I've noticed that their offerings for online ordering do not match what's actually in store. So usually when we want to create our own we just go inside to see what they have. We've ordered their specials before online for pickup because I was always confident they'd have everything for those and it hasn't been a problem. Decided to order the DIY cupcakes once. I guess I thought they would be pieces that we put together but they were assembled when I got them. They were really good, but not what I expected. Last time I looked it seemed like they made it more clear online what it was. I was a little disappointed just because I thought it was kind of fun to put them together ourselves. They have a nice variety and the specials change often. Ice cream like this doesn't travel too well so we usually just eat it before we leave. They have a rewards program, which I always like, but the birthday reward is a BOGO. For us it works because I'll get mine free and he'd buy one anyway, but for single people it's kind of like an un-gift since they can't just get one for free. Still pretty happy with them.

Yum! This ice cream is the best. Our kids love to frequent red robin for dinner because they know we head to cold stone for dessert.

Walking into the Soda Shop, it feels like a kid's daydream. There was candy and souvenirs everywhere, a big ice cream counter, and, of course, the soda shop. I noticed that they also sell food here-- it smelled amazing and I would definitely give it a try if I came again. Ordering was easy, and the young man behind the counter was really helpful-- I had never been to a soda hop before, so I had some questions about the options. He did not make me feel silly for having questions, and he did a good job of both training his coworker and being attentive to the line at the same time. I ordered a sugar free salted caramel soda (there were so many sugar free options!!!) It was delightful. I was a little apprehensive that it would actually taste like the flavor, but I was pleasantly surprised. The price point is higher than you would pay for a normal soda, but I think that the novelty of the experience is worth it. We had a great time, and would definitely return (I want to see the upper level, too-- that was closed for a private event when we stopped in).

Thanks, or no thanks, to Lulu food truck being closed on 4th of July weekend :( we probably wouldn't have been in the mood for some Hawaiian food! Anyways, after eating at Gyro King (review pending) and downing a lovely lager from Wayfinder, we wanted dessert but still had that Hawaiian food craving in our heads. Thanks to roaming the area, and smack dab in the middle of it all was a little (somewhat) Hawaiian themed ice cream shop called Mochi Cones (: We enter this tiny shop, and the two ladies working there were welcoming and helpful. The served the kids their ice cream and loved it! But I wanted the Lillikoi cupcake ($4) and ube crinkle cookie ($2). And OH MY GEE!!! The ube crinkle cookie was perfect! Or shall I say soft "perfection". The ube flavor and sweetness was just right. My only failure was not taking a picture of it lol, sorry. As for the Lillikoi cupcake, I practically had the same reaction. Cravings cured! So, I inquired a bit about the pastries and asked where they came from. And what another great discovery! The baked goods came from North Plains. My eyes lit up as I've heard about this lady/owner baker before in that area. She had to be the one from ONAS Patisserie. I was in awww because she creates some delicious tasting malasadas. Look her up! You'll thank me!

This time we got marinated rhubarb, which is in season, and which I'm excited to make and put in my own spring salads at home.
