The strawberry and chocolate had NO flavor whatsoever. The blueberry was okay and the peanut butter had a bit more flavor, but for an upscale desert shop, I was shocked. This is the worst ice cream I've ever tried. I threw mine away as it simply wasn't worth the calories. I took a look at their other tasty treats and those looked nice. I'm hoping the chocolates, cookies, and gummy candies have more flavor than the ice cream, but I don't think I'll revisit unless they change their formula/whatever brand they're currently using.

This is a true story. I DoorDash too much. It's an obsession now. A costly one at that but less about that as I'm in food delivery rehab. So I clicked on the link to have Luna's ice cream delivered. I ordered Key Lime and Apple Pie Ala mode. I'm actually lactose intolerant and it's worth it. Trust. So I give the wife the Key Lime which she absolutely loves and then as fate would have it, we both tried mine - the Apple Pie. It's incredible. You can taste the natural real ingredients, the crust, the apple, the vanilla. The fragrance wafts in a way that you think your Mom has lit one of the candles - you know the ones. It's that incredible. Each bite savored. So the wife tries to eat my ice cream, too. No way! I bought her - her own pint - and now that's all she wants! I love it. So today, three days before my birthday, I pop in and I get to meet the ice cream genius, himself, Sam! He's amiable, knowledgeable and witty. His employee, forgive me, I can't recall her name is kind-hearted, outgoing and just a delight. A free scoop on my birthday?! Oh yeah, you KNOW I'll be in to try something else. Plus they serve doggie ice cream treats I'm sharing with my neighbors who have pups. What a great visit, wonderful treats and friendly community. I thought it was just a local brand, but no, they actually have locations of their own. They happen to be close by in the Clackamas mall. It only comes apart in the small bubble chunks as you devour the delicious and smooth ice cream. After taking several bites, I was in awe of how good tasting this is. We did flag her down to order an appetizer, brussel sprouts with cheese on the side due to a dairy allergy, but... the sprouts came out with cheese on them. They corrected this fairly promptly, but then we sat for another 45 minutes before our order was actually taken. I ordered a steak as "somewhere between medium & medium well" and she correctly repeated my order back to me "medium/medium well." When the steak came out, it was WELL well done. Like, burnt. I wanted to send it back, but I didn't want to deal with the embarrassment or have to wait even longer for food. We were about an hour & 45 minutes into dinner by the time we got our food. I was so disappointed! I also wanted to get dessert to celebrate the occasion but the service was SO slow that we had to cancel our after-dinner plans. We ordered it anyway & requested the check promptly, giving up on our plans for the rest of the evening. We were only a party of 2, we arrived early for our reservation, & we watched several larger parties come and go while we waited for our order to even be taken. I was appalled. The Hilton bought the hotel attached to De Fuego and I'm shocked. This was a Monarch hotel before and I'd assume that the Hilton's standards would be higher but the service and quality here have tanked hopelessly low since the acquisition. I had a similar experience at The Underground before it closed. I've learned my lesson & won't come here for a special occasion again.
