Menchies, I am a fan. You have my favorite toppings: mini gummy bears, cheesecake bites, mochi and graham cracker sprinkles... or do you call them graham cracker crumbs? If a frozen yogurt place do not stock my essentials; I'm out. However, Menchies wins my business... until they stock out of their "monthly" special flavor. haha They always have different flavors on tap, so it is always a surprise when I stop by. Last time I stopped by on a Friday night, I filled my bowl to the brim with their endless toppings. Why? Because it is FILL UP FRIDAYS for $6.00, so why not? Yum! I do not stray away from my favorites, so I cannot say how fresh their other toppings are, but mine were yummies. Parking is a shared among other businesses, but can be difficult if you want front row parking. If you do not mind the walk, then there's plenty to choose from. read more

Menchies is your typical yogurt place. They are definitely practicing social distancing. They only allow one group to go to the yogurt machines at a time and they sanitize after each group. They also provide their toppings in little containers now. I don't recall how they rang them up but I don't think it was more expensive than their usual precovid pricing. I would recommend this place if you so want a treat but you're trying to be very careful. Two thumbs up for that. read more

A nice and simple place to get some froyo when in the area and craving something light and refreshing on a nice day. I liked the pineapple sorbet flavor (reminds me of the Dole Whip), pistachio and cold brew flavor. They also had a Reeses peanut butter and Oreo flavors which were also tasty. I believe its $0.59 an ounce and you weigh it at the counter when you pay for it. They also have several toppings you can add to the bowl. read more

This Menchies was ruined.. they can blame it on COVID but its clear that it is a money thing. SOME items are self serve.. like cheesecake, boba, fruit but the candy and other toppings are in containers. They weigh it WiTH container and it's honestly way too many toppings for one person. Example: one container of sprinkles was more than enough for my two kids. We had to dispose most of it. It's no longer the fun experience we're you can pick as many or as little toppings as you would like. I won't be back to this location. read more

Absolutely awful! Can't believe this place is in business. Got a single cup of vanilla with no toppings and was $16 with tip! Tip!!!...It's a self serve yogurt place, what's the tip for? Working the cash register?! Yet, you feel guilted into it. Vanilla yogurt was grainy, Icy, and super underwhelming. The tiny bit of chocolate I had was also terrible. If you can't get those two flavors right, then you have no business being in business. Would rather get soft serve from McDonald's than this place and I never go to McDonald's. My husband and I came in to Menchie's for the $6 special, when we went up to the counter to pay they charged us for weight because we were 15 minutes early. Apparently the special didn't start till 7:00 p.m. we were unaware of this time because the sign posted about the special had the time in very small print. It's your typical Frozen Yogurt by the oz shop. This location has some topping I've never come across before which was a surprise. The location is clean and the lime green really brightens the place into a relaxing atmosphere. If you have a hankering for yogurt treats and your in the shopping center they are worth checking out. read more

Drove 20 minutes across town to get last minute frozen yogurt when the hours are listed until 10pm. Unfortunately the two people working couldn't be bothered to wait until closing and had shut everything down and closed by 9:45 so I wasted my time. I understand closing 5 minutes early but on a Summer Saturday night, there's a good chance you have people coming in until close. There were still customers standing right outside the locked door eating frozen yogurt so it's not like they had been sitting bored and customer-less. 15 mins makes barely any difference to a store employee but could have multiple different customers being turned away. Great little place for frozen yogurt. Convenient location to my house plus it's just a few shops down from Target so I'm always there! Nice staff members too. The fruit and treat bar is usually ALWAYS full when I go in, even on busy days. There was one time the strawberries were gone and I wanted some, the gal behind the register quickly put fresh ones out. The flavors are always on good rotation. You can find anything you like there. It's nice (like all yogurt places) that they have the sample cups for you to try some. My favorite is still vanilla :) Im usually in once a week during summer, I bring my toddler in for a sweet treat. Very kid friendly place. There is a chalk board in front for the kids to play on. In back you can rent out the play room for birthday parties which is pretty cool. It's a pretty busy location. Sometimes I get mine to go if there isn't a lot of room but that's usually on the weekends so I try to go once during the week so we can sit inside. read more

Who doesn't love frozen yogurt? Menchies is a great frozen yogurt place with a tasty choice of flavor and toppings. Menchies will change out flavor a every week - which in a sense is a problem. How can you resist going in every week to try the new flavor selections? I do find that Menchies is also a great way to motivate the kids to compete chores and help out with whatever is needed. Menchie's is probably my favorite froyo joint. I especially like their Facebook page because it will give you udpates on specials and new flavors as they happen. This isn't always good for my checkbook nor the environment because I will drive the 6 miles or so down to the Promenade to have myself a $5 waffle bowl of Dole Pineapple Whip on a Friday night. Out of the self serve frozen yogurt places that I have been to, Menchies is one of the best. Menchies seems more organized and into providing more variety. They have many different flavors of yogurt including some that are fat free, sugar free and dairy free. They rotate the flavors every so often; plus you can swirl flavors together. They have over forty different kinds of toppings, including fresh fruit and many different types of candy, and the best part is they are labeled! The price per ounce is a little more than my usual yogurt spot, but it doesn't bother me because of how good the yogurt is. The employees were very friendly and the place was very clean. They even have a party room to rent out. Overall Menchies frozen yogurt was delicious and would be worth going back to. read more

YES YES YES! Dairy and gluten free goodness. I tried the dole pineapple sorbet and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Pineapple is my favorite treat and what a treat this was and on such a hot day! It was especially creamy for a sorbet which was an awesome surprise. I'm a strong supporter of dessert and I'd recommend this place to anyone, especially those with food allergies. The store manager emailed me as soon as she saw my review and has taken appropriate action. We love their yogurt and I'm willing to go there again. The management cares a lot about their store and their customers and in the end that's what matters the most to me! Went there this afternoon with my son and one of his friends. It's always the same girl working and she usually rude and I have to go find her whenever we need something or have a question for her. Plus when she is around she makes rude comments about other customers, Today I almost wanted to tell her, "I'm so sorry that someone left their cup on their table and you had to throw it away but isn't this your work!!!" Not to mention the way she glared at my son when they were drawing on the chalkboard. This is the first time we've been there that I haven't been impressed with any of the Flavors they had to offer. Better than TCBY, not as good as YoCream. On each visit, at least one of the machines dispensing a flavor I wanted wasn't functioning. The toppings are average, and some of the flavors taste powdery or like they coat your tongue (you can't stop tasting it after it has left your mouth, and it masks the flavors of anything else you're consuming). There are multiple flavors to choose from at this location. I liked that they had small taster cups set out for patrons. I hate having to ask someone working there to get me a sample. I love the Dole pineapple sorbet so much I came back twice in less than a week!! Thankfully they still had that flavor during my second trip! It reminds me of Disneyland and sunshine so it makes me very happy... And it's dairy free!! My toppings of choice are the mini gummy bears and mochi with the pineapple sorbet. The mochi here is fresh and fluffy. Other places tend to leave their mochi out for too long that they become hard and stale. Writing this review makes me wish I had some more!!
