What a fun visit to Cold Stone Creamery in Dublin! After a hot day in the sun, this was an absolute treat. We were able to order right away because there was no line and two employees were present in the store. Our server was very kind and gave the perfect portion size- more to come on that later! I ordered a 'love it' with chocolate ice cream and four mix-ins: chocolate chips, gummy bears, M&M's, and KitKats. The perfect amount of each was added and it was evenly distributed. There were enough pieces of candy to fill each bite, but there wasn't so much that it overpowered the ice cream. The portions were VERY generous- I was so appreciative! Although I ordered and paid for a 'love it', I was actually given a 'gotta have it'. This was the perfect surprise on a hot day. Of course portion size will depend on the employee, but I thought I'd share this :) The actual establishment looked clean. There wasn't any noticeable ice cream or toppings on the tables, which is also rare at ice cream shops. As you walk inside, you'll also find a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. I didn't get a chance to try any of the chocolates, although they looked delicious. Like I've said, Dublins's Cold Stone is absolutely delicious and the workers are great! Service was terrible. Young man was training a new employee and told her if they were out of frosting, to just use something in place of it because it didn't make a difference. I chimed in jokingly saying it would make me so sad to pay for something I didn't order. He told me if I expected to get what I wanted I should be ready to tip him. I replied, for doing your job? And he said well if it's busy, you'll have to pay me extra. I'm unsure where we crossed the line of I'm a paying customer, but it was a bad experience. Left upset. read more

I went here this last Saturday. I've been wanting to use my gift cards my mom keeps sending to me. So my boyfriend and I went here in the afternoon. It was relatively dead so I was able to get the ice cream and flavors/toppings I wanted and be served. It was pretty good ice cream. I got the chocolate devotion. My boyfriend got the blue ice cream with the Reese peanut butter cups mixed in. The employees were friendly which were really nice too. But to the down side, when we wanted milkshakes they said they were out of milk? I was confused I've never seen an ice cream store that does not have milk? So that was irritating though. You would think a place as big as cold stone would have milk to supply or even order some if they knew they were getting low. So my boyfriend and I just settled for the ice cream and just sat inside and enjoyed it. But it was still disappointing to not get the milkshakes. read more

Restaurant was filthy and when my daughter ordered her ice cream, she put it on the dirty stone that had the ice cream that the previous customer ordered on it. She didn't mix everything thoroughly and left 1/3 of it on the stone and then said sorry we are out of whipped cream, is that ok? as she was handing it to my daughter. It was dark in there and all the chairs were still on the tables as if they didn't want you to use the dining room. Not a good experience when you pay $7.99 for a cup of ice cream. We will stick to Dell's. read more

We waited in line for 35 minutes and finally left before getting ice cream. Two young ladies were working and spent maybe 5 minutes per cup of ice cream. They still had their DoorDash going and about 5 people were waiting for pick ups. We weren't the only ones to walk out. Don't go here. read more

Walked in around 9pm with my daughter to get some ice cream and as we walked in, a group of boys arrived. I noticed the blonde girl behind the counter smiling and motioning the boys to follow her to the back room. The boys didn't appear to be employees or arriving to work considering the store closes at 10pm. There were two employees still at the front, Alex and Grace. Both were serving a family in front of us. After the family was served Grace started to do some maintenance to the freezer while Alex began serving several ice creams, which I thought was weird because there wasn't anyone in front of us placing orders. We sat there for several minutes while Grace continued the freezer maintenance and Alex continued to prepare ice creams and take them to the back room. As we waited there were customers coming in and a line forming. Some customers even left due to the line not moving. Once Grace finished the maintenance she then greeted us and began taking orders while Alex continued taking care of the group in the back room. I don't know who the group of boys were, but they were served before customers waiting in line and I would be surprised if they even paid. It was disappointing to have two employees on the clock with one focused on the business and customers and the other on what appears to be friends. I give props to Grace for maintaining her professionalism and serving customers while having to watch her co-worker Alex ignore that fact she needed help. read more

As I was ordering for ice cream, I asked for extra cookie dough and the young female employee with brown hair said it wasn't a problem. Then as she came up to another employee to prepare the ice cream, they made comments about how "if I wanted to eat just cookie dough just say that" then they carried on laughing and making snide remarks that really upset me and ruined the whole experience. Just walked out of Cold Stone after waiting 5 minutes and watching the female worker behind the counter talking non stop while she worked on someone's order with her mask pulled down to her chin. If i could give this place zero stars i would. We visited this place today with our 4 year old daughter. Just when my little one sat on the chair, the chair broke into two pieces and my daughter crashed down on the floor. When we took the chair to the staff, they rolled their eyes and showed no apology or empathy. Never coming back here again. Customer satisfaction goes a long way. If the staff cant be apologetic about such a big safety hazard esp for little kids i think such a place should be shut down. read more

We were significantly over-charged for two kid sized ice creams this afternoon. What should have been $2.29 each (with one free topping) cost us over $8.00! (Vanilla with sprinkles and Chocolate with Oreo Cookies). Nothing extravagant. Definitely not worth the charge of over $8.00. Very disappointed. read more
