Wendy's fared much better in the fast food realm. Drive-through service was quick and the crispy chicken sandwich was cheap and delicious! Make sure that you pay attention to the drive through lanes in this building as there are separate drive-through lanes for Tim Hortons. I stopped there today to get the 5 for $5 for a quick lunch. I had to use my credit card as my debit just recently got stolen and I am waiting on a new one. I hand over my CC and it gets declined- I look at it and it expired 2/21... so I tell the man, whom I am assuming is the manager, that it was okay as I had no other form of payment. He wouldn't take no for an answer, handed me my order and said "let us treat you!" Ya'll I was holding back tears. That one simple and kind gesture was exactly what I needed today. Is this a Wendy's or a Tim Horton's? It's both, which is odd, since I thought they broke up. It's hard to tell from the outside- posters and signage for both. And though there is a sign by the road, from the back, where you actually enter, there is no ID, so I couldn't tell what this was, what the Burger King next door was, etc. Just picked at random. Tim Horton's and Wendy's both have some pretty good sandwiches, and there's a nice variety of other stuff on the menu. I've been here a few times and had good sandwiches, coffee drinks, smoothies, etc. This time I got a pop and the Italiano grilled bagel, a sort of Italian sub on a bagel. The meat and veggies were very good, and the bagel was tasty but just too thick. Hard to eat, and threw off the proportions- just too much bread. Ordered 2 spicy chicken sandwich meals as well as baconator fries and was missing a drink for one of the meals and didn't receive baconator fries. When confronted employee claimed that there's was only one lemonade ordered and no baconator fries. While also conveniently forgetting to give receipt. They get lazy when you order more than one meal. read more

I was here last night to pick up a veggie burger as usual! The woman I was speaking with was very helpful to describe combo meal options that came with the black bean burger. Slowest Wendys I've every been too. Shame on me for going back to it. I've been in a normal size line for over 25 minutes on multiple occasions. Hard to imagine how it can be this slow. Better off going to the next closest location, even if it's out of the way. read more

This is the worst Wendy's I've ever been to in my entire life!!! I sat down near the check out counter and listened to the employees and managers making fun of the customers and literally laughing out loud at the customers expense. They also have the dirtiest bathrooms I've ever seen in any fast food restaurant. They never greet you when you come in and never EVER tell you thank you as your leaving. Pathetic excuse for a Wendys!! The headquarters really needs to check on this restaurant. The performance of the staff speaks to the management of the restaurant. I went through drive thru on the way to work. The order taker was somewhat polite, it was a female. There was no direction given as to what window to pay at so i slowed down at the first one, looked, and no one was there so i pulled forward. The male came to the window with an attitude and yanked the card from my hand and went to swipe it. No "hello" or "your total is...", not a single word from his rude mouth. Same thing from the female that handed me the food. Then i get on the interstate trusting that at least the food was fine but no....sandwich was made wrong and fries had been completely dumped out in the bag. You need to check yourself! Writing a review for two reasons: The first reason: the guy working the drive through made my boyfriends Wendy's experience that much better with his funny accents. Would go back to this location just for this reason. Reason number two (and this is why we knocked off a star): they forgot his straw for his blueberry lemonade fruitea chiller. Lame. read more

I am only giving this location 2 stars the reason being that 2 workers were without hairnets. The one was tied back in a ponytail but the other worker had it down and in his face and he was putting food onto the trays after taking their orders. Manager was dressed without a uniform also. Avoid at all costs. This Wendy's needs to get their act together. First, they are super freaking slow. Like, painfully slow. You finally get to the drive-thru speaker and you still have to wait. Absolutely, the filthiest Wendy's that I have ever been in.Chairs and tables were dirty. Found one, out of several unoccupied tables, that was relatively clean. Behind the counter: help appeared to lack management and direction contributing to the chaos from the time you place the order, until it's placed upon your tray. However, staff was friendly, apologetic and aware of the problem. No beverage refills at this location. Hamburger wrapper was saturated with grease and bun was soggy. When it was addressed to the manager, she stated that the hamburgers are always served like that. Perhaps, she meant only at that particular location. read more

Went here on a Tuesday night at 8pm. Dining room was closed because they did not have enough workers. Only the drive thru was open (with a long line). Amazing that this can happen with Wendys world headquarters right down the street. HQ should be embarrassed. read more

I never judge a place based off the first visit, but I've been to this Wendy's more than ten times and have yet to have a good experience. I'm always greeted by the same manager who always seems in a bad mood. He never lets me finish my sentence and constantly tries to rush me even when I'm the only person in line! Just went through the window and my mom got a fish sandwich. It was cold and obviously old and very greasy. It smelled very bad also. Even my pet birds would not eat it and they eat everything. I'm sad. I got a 4 for 4 and ordered a junior bacon cheeseburger and they gave me a chicken sandwich with nothing on it. First off, I already have chicken nuggets I don't need a chicken sandwich second off, there was nothing on the chicken sandwich to even try to win me over haha. This Wendys location is one of the worst. One employee was shouting and making loud noises while everyone is shouting over that employee to stop. It took us 15 minutes to order our food because everyone was playing around. Then when we got our food and everything wasn't there. We got a small drink instead of a large. I have never written a poor review before. The was BY FAR the most unprofessional management I have ever experienced. I waited patiently to order since the manager at the counter was busy. After several minutes? She called over another manger (not sure why managers were working the counter, which is fine, but odd that my encounters were with two managers). The second manager comes to the register, never makes eye contact, very rudely takes my order. Felt like I had done something wrong. It was so weird. At the end after being stared at like I was a rude person, I asked her if she was okay (figured it must have been a bad day for her). She says "Are YOU okay?!" I was flabbergasted. She took off her apron, said "oh, I'm done with this sh**!" and left the counter. Second manager comes over like nothing has happened, giggling nervously. Finished my order. When I picked up my food I hear the rude manager being very sweet to the next customer (she must have cooled down), and I tell the first manager that I have never been treated so poorly at a restaurant. She walks away from me. I am not exaggerating. When she comes back around I tell her that normally I'd expect an apology and she said she did apologize and blew me off again. I got a delicious home style chicken sandwich at the corporate one on 161 it was so good I decided to order it again at the Wendy's nearest me, the Hospital drive one. WHAT a mistake it was dry, burnt and the tomato slice was so tiny it had no color to it. the lettuce was just a little piece of nothing. Also they were out of napkins and a puddle of water was on floor. I'm past 70 and I don't want to break a hip so I mentioned it to the young boy just standing there talking to another employee. He seemed angry that I interrupted his gossip. When I left 20 minutes latter puddle still there and napkins still empty. The manager was no where around. I hope they build a new one in the same vicinity and close this one. read more
