    Outside of the Englewood store.

I was strolling along looking for breakfast when this place caught my eye. The sign outside read best coffee in town and I said 'bet'. Inside is cozy, and very in theme with a global coffee type situation. Showcasing a large selection of beans, pastries and other goods. While limited, there is some seating. I was greeted immediately upon entry. I asked if they had any 'iced fluffy drinks', told the barista I wanted the 'creamiest sweetest thing they had'. I was told about Tanzanian coffee being sweeter naturally and said I'd take that. Alas, I wasn't clear enough with what I wanted during, because she started what looked like the most glorious coffee making process. Each drip emitting a luscious aroma. When I asked how she was going to 'ice it', a look of disappointment washed over her face. I hadn't made it clear that I wanted cold coffee. She started taking things out of the fridge, asked what size I wanted (no giant venti type drinks here) and poured me a cold brew maybe? There seem to be less options for iced coffee than hot. So, after all the anticipation watching and inhaling the Tanzanian stuff, I was ready to taste this chilly brew...Regrettably, it was so weak. I was overly disappointed! Thinking about it now still saddens me. I usually take coffee as more a confection than serious strong adult drink. Always light and sweet, leche con cafe even! But never has it been this bland or lacking actual coffee flavor. I'm sure the hot coffee is a contender for best in town, but not the iced. I could have gone the green mermaid place like a block away and got a tastier, larger cup. Sorta ps here, this is for the Englewood shop which is not represented here

Lovely decor!! Walked into classical soothing music. Cute little spot with side street parking. Friendly barista made my pistachio oat milk latte! Yummy 2x!!

I came here to have a traditional Colombian arepa just like back home. I ordered a cheese arepa and it was pretty good. The cheese and dough were great. I also ordered a coffee and it was okay. Hence, why I took one star off. The barista was super friendly and professional. The space is great to do work, and has very confortable seating. Current though: I want another arepa.

My husband and I were in the area and were searching for a coffee spot. This gem popped up and saw people saying it was the best coffee they've ever had so we decided to check it out. My husband ordered the coffee with cream and sugar. The Ube cappuccino caught my eye. We have to admit, the reviews were absolutely correct. Both coffees were THE best coffees we've ever had. The coffee was absolutely smooth and rich. The Ube cappuccino was delicious, frothy and smooth. The guava pastry was a sweet treat too. We plan on coming back whenever we are in the area that's how much we loved it! We didn't get a chance to get any of the arepas or other sandwiches but we will next time. The baristo was super friendly as well, he made the cups right in front of us. Highly recommend!

FIVE STARS for the coffee and sheer variety of sweet and savory snacks at this comfy though small cafe. However they served crunchy rice that was obviously undercooked and should never have been plated. Didn't finish it and didn't think it was a really a big deal until later as I tried to digest it and it's a really big deal after all. This place is definitely worth a stop if nearby and need a pick up or light meal, I'm just hoping customers can be aware of what I experienced so any issue can be fixed while they still can enjoy their meal. Maybe stick with arepas, sandwiches and baked goods...

First time delivery order or eat something from here. The coffee was excellent. Great body, tasty, perfect temperature, enough amount. Today I picked two kind of arepas : One filled only with Colombian cheese and the other named " El Paso breakfast". The corn Arepa was fresh, tasty, big enough and the filling was excellent: scramble egg, cheese, jalapeños with vinegar, black beans. I need always something sweet to end my meals; today I tried a piece of guava pastry which was delicious... It was the best decision to choose this place and have breakfast on my day off. Thank you guys and God bless you!!!

This is a very nice coffee shop. They make good arepas with all kinds of fillings. I tried one with cheese for breakfast with a cappuccino and thought it was good. The coffee was very good. The arepa was nicely toasted with a nice moist interior, and the cheese was nicely seasoned with some good savory sauce. The store was nicely decorated with coffee products as well as delicious pastries. They have comfortable seating areas as well as a couple of tables outside. The only problem with the place is it's location. Very limited parking on a very busy street, perhaps you can park around the corner but even there it's limited. However, it is worth a visit if your in the area.

Dulce de leche croissant was so flaky and moist with just right amount of sweet filling for every bite vegan croissant was good too wasnt too dry, service is always courteous and friendly it's a really good ambience to enjoy coffee and baked goods or can do some work here as well.

Cute coffee shop in Teaneck, NJ. It is bigger inside than it seems outside. It has ample seating to meet with friends. They have food options here which make grabbing breakfast or lunch a great idea. The lady in the front was nice and helped me determine what coffee to try. The coffee in my opinion was good but it was not great. The place has cute decor which I enjoyed and we sat by the window which provided a nice seating area for us while we enjoyed our coffee. I'd come back.

A perfect day for breakfast at one of Teaneck fav coffee spots. Overcast and rainy. Coffee, breakfast shared with your loved one. We found this spot thru yelp with 5 stars and decided to visit. A little spot with just enough tables and chairs for a warm welcome. Service was excellent. Attentive staff who delivered the food to our table while piping hot. Couldn't tell you the name of the sandwich we ordered. May just have to go back and get another one

Mixed mini empanadas (basket of 6)

My boyfriend and I were craving mozzarepas (the sweet ones filled with mozzarella that you find at street fairs), and we stumbled upon this arepa bar on Yelp. Long story short: They don't sell "street fair" mozzarepas. Our server, Luisa, didn't even know what they were when I tried describing them to her lol. BUT THAT ASIDE, the food we had here was delicious at a GREAT price point, and Luisa was so nice. We shared a basket of 6 mixed mini empanadas (3 chicken and 3 beef), I got the Three Seasons arepa and Dulce de Leche frap, and my boyfriend got The Queen arepa and the Matcha Green Tea frap. - Mixed mini empanadas: Delicious! The pastry dough alone is amazing. However, the two sauces that accompanied it, pink sauce (ketchup+mayo) and hot sauce, overpowered the taste of the empanada with the tiniest dip into it. I preferred the empanadas without sauce. - Three Seasons arepa: Not even close in taste to the mozzarepa I was initially craving, lol but it was very flavorful and surprisingly filling! Loved the "three seasons" mix of chicken, beef, and shrimp. - Dulce de Leche frap: Sadly didn't taste like dulce de leche at all, just a basic coffee frap, but it was good. - The Queen arepa: My boyfriend liked it but said it was nothing special. - Matcha Green Tea frap: He really liked it! Just the right amount of sweetness. If you've ever been to The Tea Bar in Fort Lee, it tastes just like their green tea bubble tea but without the tapioca. I highly recommend this place. Luisa spoke highly of the burgers and fries here, so we might have to give those a try next time! *UNRELATED TO COFFEECOL, but if anyone knows a place that sells "mozzarepas" (look them up on Google if you're not sure what they are) near Bergen County, please let me know. Thanks!

This juice bar was just what I needed and it was very close to the Pilates studio I go to in Englewood. The friendly lady at the counter explained that shakes had protein powder and smoothies did not. I wanted something lighter. They had fresh squeezed juices but they are not made to order. There was a variety of bottled juices but I didn't check what kinds of juices there were. I opened for a smoothie made with coconut water and blended with banana, spirulina, spinach, chia seeds, pineapple and mango. It was refreshing and pretty light. I think it could have used more banana for creamier mouth feel though. They offer food options too for lunch and I could smell the vegan chili cooking. There are only stool seats but it's pretty quiet in there, sunny, but not really a place to sip and lounge. I finished most of my smoothie sitting in there enjoying the cool AC breeze. I will definitely consider going back after my Pilates class from time to time.

I stopped by this local juice bar tucked away in a corner of Englewood's bustling Palisades Ave. It's a small, but cute spot. Very clean and bright with lots of natural lighting. There's a few stools/bar seating facing the windows, but this is more of a grab-and-go place. The menu is straightforward. Of course you can expect prices to be higher $$ for organic ingredients. They sell smoothies, meal replacement shakes, cold-pressed juices, and wellness shots. There's a large variety of fruits, vegetables, and superfood add-ons. In addition to drinks, they also have a limited food/snack menu - smoothie bowls, salad, soup, protein bites, overnight oats, impossible burger, etc. They even sell sea moss! Everything is fresh. There's plenty of vegan options. Service was standard and quick. I wish the employee was more interactive and enthusiastic. I told her it was my first visit, and she didn't really give me too many recommendations or explain the menu/products very well. I ordered a small McKay Madness smoothie (~$9) and berry chia seed pudding (~$5). The smoothie had mango, pineapple, banana, kiwi, and coconut water. The consistency was smooth and not too thick. It was refreshing and not sweet. Not the best smoothie I've had, but it did the job. The chia seed pudding was a satisfying snack, but I wish it had more flavor and sweetness to it. The texture was perfect, but it just tasted bland. I added a bit of honey on my own to enhance the flavor. I would come back to try more smoothies and juices if I'm craving one.

My son insist I taste both of them first. I put on a poker face because I wanted to see his honest reaction too. After he took a couple of sips he said, I don't want to finish it. In the trash it goes. I consider myself a hardcore tea lover. There was nothing Oolong about it. Not sure how the lady made it, if it's from powder or actual tea leaves but we absolutely could not detect any tea flavor, mostly water and sugar and the lingering aftertaste was NOT PLEASANT AT ALL. It was a long drive for us to get here. Do I regret it? No, because I am always willing to venture far for a boba tea experience. Can't win them all. I don't know if the high rating is for the drinks or the Vietnamese food they serve here. Tsaocaa is a chain and I will not be giving this one another chance. The first thing my son and I did when we got home was brush our teeth. Positives... - Friendly service. - The drinks are not as pricey as other boba shops. - I got to see how beautiful Englewood, New Jersey is. One star rating for the soft and chewy boba.

They have an open kitchen so you can see them prepare everything fresh on the premises. The staff has amazing energy! Super friendly, helpful, and full of smiles. They're attentive and interactive with customers. They gave me recommendations and delicious juice samples. They also have a rewards program where you can earn points towards freebies and discounts. I've tried a few things - some are hits and some are misses. *Chinola (Passion Fruit) Juice ($3.79) - A huge miss! The passion fruit was really lacking in flavor... it wasn't intense, refreshing, or tart. I felt like I was drinking sugary water. I couldn't even finish half of the drink because it was incredibly sweet. *Mamey Smoothie ($5) with evaporated milk ($1.89) - I've always been curious about trying mamey. An employee let me sample the actual fruit before I ordered the drink, which I appreciated. She recommended mixing it with evaporated milk. The texture was very creamy with a subtle taste similar to sweet potato or pumpkin. I think the sweetness of the milk overpowered the mamey, but it was a good try regardless. I wouldn't order it again - not my type of fruit LOL *Chicken Cheese Empanada ($2.34) - I know that there's regional variations when it comes to making the ideal empanada, but I just wasn't a fan of theirs. I prefer mine baked, but theirs is deep fried. The crust was too large for the filling. It was a bit oily and soggy. The chicken wasn't seasoned very well and was dry. I expected to bite into cheesy goodness, but to my surprise, there was barely any cheese. I ordered this in the afternoon, so maybe it didn't taste as good since it was sitting out under heat lamps. *Chimichurri Sandwich with pernil ($8) & tostones ($2.75) - A decent sandwich overall. It came with warmed cabbage, onions, tropical sauce (mayo + ketchup), and your choice of protein. The bread was lightly toasted and crunchy. The pernil (roasted pork) was tender, but not as rich in flavor as I would've liked it to be. I specifically ordered this for the chimichurri sauce, which has a signature zesty, vibrant, and fresh taste.... but I did not taste it at all :( It wasn't a bad sandwich - it's just not what I expected. The tostones (fried plantains) were deep fried to perfection with a crispy and salty exterior. I could eat these ALL DAY. The food and drinks were a 3, but the friendly service and warm atmosphere bring it up to a 4. I'm willing to stop by in the future to try more smoothies or even to munch on some tostones!
