The houses were so cute! I chose this place because they offer tea, coffee and matcha drinks with seasonal spring menu. Ended up getting Marzipan latte and mango lemonade. I'm a lover for Marzipan which is a variation of mazapan Mexican Candy with the nutty flavor. It does contain nuts! The drink was delicious, tastes just like candy but not too sweet. The mango lemonade was refreshing. We also got a ham and cheese croissant that was so good. They bake everything in house. Plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. It's a sweetened latte made with their house-made syrup, topped with whipped cream (optional if you prefer to opt out), and a buttery corn crumble. This drink was actually curated by one of the employees, which makes it even more special knowing it was thoughtfully crafted in-house! Definitely recommend stopping by and trying the Latte on the Cob if you're looking for something a little different!

Reno really needs more coffee shops with later hours, and I'm glad we have Midnight! I got the goat toast, and if I could give more than 5 stars for the toast alone, I would. Chef's kiss. The sweetness and tang of the goat cheese with the balsamic, paired with the umami from the grilled onions, was such a good combination. At $8.50, it was worth every penny. For coffee, I got the shaken brown sugar latte, my husband got the iced Purple Haze latte, and my daughter got the chocolate chip croissant. Her croissant had generous chunks of chocolate and was perfectly flaky, so she was very happy. The vibe was great, with the roll-up windows bringing in tons of fresh air and sunlight. It was already popping at 5pm with lots of people working on laptops, but we managed to snag a seat. Midtown has some of my favorite food and drink spots in Reno, but my biggest gripe is usually the parking situation. It can be rough and stressful, so I was pleasantly surprised to find street parking right out front. All around, a great first experience.

Okay, so after hearing about this place for a while we decided to stop in a few Saturday's ago. We liked the concept and even considered buying some beans (really glad we did not). But the first sin of espresso coffee drinks is scorched milk and/or a beverage that is just too hot, and that's what we got. Additionally, the coffee flavor just wasn't too our liking, it was very bitter. Finally, there is extremely limited seating inside, which maybe isn't a big deal if you are just picking up takeaway. Our verdict is that this is not on our list for cafes in Reno.
