Super cute coffee counter, with the baristas literally served you from a mini window hence prolly the name. Small yet mighty, I could totally relate why the crowd loved their cream cold brew. I went for the top-selling coconut whose coconut was basically coming from the coconut flavor syrup, which I surprisingly liked while I typically wasn't that much into coconut flavored stuffs. My husband got the vanilla one that he also liked. The cold brew tasted good being not overly acidic. I had a fantastic experience at Coffee Window Waikīkī! Great coffee, great service, and super fast. The area is just a little trailer located outside a hotel which is convenient if you're walking up from the street to just get a coffee and get right back on your way which is what we were doing. I ordered the iced coconut white chocolate mocha, and my wife got the iced coconut caramel latte--both were excellent. If I had to choose, I'd probably go with the caramel next time we're back, but honestly you can't go wrong with either. I also tried the coffee cake, which was really good. Not 100% sure if it was homemade or store-bought, but either way it definitely hit the spot. The two girls working the booth were incredibly kind and funny, which made the whole experience even better. We happened to be the only ones there, so service was immediate and we had our drinks in about 2 minutes. We paid around $22 for two large iced coffees and a pastry, which feels pretty standard for the area--but the quality absolutely justifies it. It's also just about two blocks from Waikīkī Beach, so it's the perfect place to grab a drink and head to the beach. Definitely ask about any specials they have going on! Hotel coffee is fine but this was a life saver for someone who is particular about their coffee. Convenient walk from Waikiki Beach and surround hotels, Coffee Window offers a great option for specialty coffee (outside of regular hotel coffee). It is right in front of the entrance for the Pacific Monarch Hotel, and next to the Musubi Cafe so if you're up early enough you can get coffee and breakfast from both. Was staying nearby for a few days and visited twice because the service was quick (go alternative to waiting at other shops nearby) and very friendly. Really enjoyed being able to grab and go from the window, and there were options for coffee, other caffeinated drinks and drinks for kids. The coconut sweet cream cold brew was really good as well as their other coconut lattes. Highly recommend. read more

I stopped by here yesterday morning by myself for my morning coffee. Whenever I go on vacation I try to hit up a new coffee shop every morning, and on this morning I ended up heading over to Coffee Window Waikiki. This location is a small stand outside of the Pacific Monarch and on the morning I was there they had two people working inside. After checking out the menu I ended up ordering one of their specials, which was a coconut sweet cream cold brew. What I wasn't expecting is that they would have their special already mixed up, but they did. They simply poured it out of a pitcher, added some ice, and I was on my way. The coffee here ended up being decent as I got some subtle flavors from it and then a little bit of coconut and sweetness on the finish. Honestly, as a cold brew I expected the coffee flavor itself to be bold and brash, but this was much more subtle. With all of that being said, I still enjoyed it. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. While I was a little disappointed in my drink, I would be interested in trying some other items on the menu. read more

We initially had a tough time finding this coffee truck. They're located next to the Pacific Monarch on Uluniu avenue, near where Musubi Cafe Iyasume is. They had a good selection of coffee, lemonade, energy drinks, and some small bites. The pricing in comparable to other spots in the area, and the drinks were delicious. With a lot of spots having long lines, this was an easy grab and go option. The service was great and it was easy to take our drinks down by the water to enjoy the morning. read more

Just a simple coffee trailer dream with some solid choices! My friends and fellow travelers came here a few times during our trip (they are early morning people), so on my last day, I finally came by en route to take one last view of the beach before leaving the islands. You couldn't ask for a more perfect location- right outside a couple of hotels and on a major footpath to Waikiki. My friends loved their cold brews and lattes. I am much more simpler - just happy with a simple iced coffee. They do not offer iced drip (just hot), but they can make iced Americano and have their cold brew option. It was a little too bitter for me, so I probably should have not asked for half-sweet. They keep the menu fairly simple which is appreciated, and it's priced well for Waikiki. The matcha here is grainy, low quality, and a murky green color. I'm shocked that the rating is so high from people who ordered it. For $8 a drink, I'd expect more. I'm nearly positive that this is Costco matcha or something of similar caliber. The powder was not dissolved properly and I could see clouds of clumps when mixing my drink with the straw, which led to an incredibly gritty mouthfeel when drinking this. I did manage to arrive at a time when there was no line but by the time I finished ordering there was a rather big line. So keep that in mind. It is located on the property of a hotel and it's about a 4 min walk to the beach which is perfect for a treat on your way to or from the beach. Had a few macadamia nut latte's from other spots before and just thought I didn't enjoy this drink much, but Coffee Window did it very well and I would definitely get it again on a next visit! I added an extra shot of espresso since I do like my drinks stronger and less sweet, and it was perfect! Staff was friendly and the drinks came out very fast. Coffee Window as the name implies is uh...basically a little food truck selling coffee! lol It can be hard to find - if you're next to Musubi Cafe or across Maguro Spot - it's in proximity. That said the coffee here was some of the best we had! We loved our drinks so much. I got the Coconut Caramel Latte and my partner was able to make a Macademia Nut / Hazelnut Latte which he also loved. They have really good coffee with reasonable prices, and quick service. It's a true pity they're not open very long so you have to be pretty strategic if you want coffee from here. read more

The coffee here is absolutely amazing! My wife and I were in town visiting family this year and were proactively searching for coffee that didn't taste like....it was drowning in sugar or creamer.. Now, while we can leave the crazy work life/balance behind on vacation, the one thing we can't do is a morning without some great coffee. If I can admit I'm quite picky when it comes to coffee, meaning if I don't like the coffee, then I don't drink it at all. They had great options here, especially being a small location, including milk substitutes. The line even got long a few times, but they get the order in quickly and the wait time was quick. It's not overpowered with sugar, flavors are consistent, never once bitter (a great sign that it's always brewed at the right temperature) and I looked forward to walking back to the store stand the next morning. Lastly, I have to mention that we were only in town for a week, and the staff even acknowledged/remembered us, which was amazing! This coffee shop is literally a window on the sidewalk at the Pacific Monarch hotels -- super convenient if you're on the go. It definitely gets busy, but I like the concept and the quick bites they offer. Walked by this sign one afternoon in Waikiki and just knew we'd be returning the next morning for some lattes. I love matcha lattes and had never seen such a variety before. I ordered the iced matcha latte with coconut and was absolutely surprised by the amazingness in my mouth. Truly have never tasted a better matcha latte! Keep in mind the owner closes up by 11:30 so you'll have to snag one during the morning. So many coffee shops in Waikiki to choose from and this was our favorite. We came to the coffee window for the entire week we stayed here. It is so hard to try anything else once you've found a great coffee. The staff is so friendly and gave other recommendations nearby too. We loved the little trailer they have setup. Had this place basically every morning while I was visiting--such a great spot! The coffee is excellent. The cold brew and lattes are amazing. I usually ask for half-sweet at most coffee shops because they tend to go overboard with syrups, but I took a chance and ordered everything as-is, and it was perfect. As a child of serial small business owners, I've always had the impulse to support small businesses, rather than the highly polished, but soulless corporate giants - especially the coffee mega- corp with the green logo. Sometimes this behavior gets me punished with a horrid experience. Coffee Window delivers the goods in a way that would make my dad proud. The simple, but refined drip coffee is a smooth delight on its own. Not needing any embellishments to raise eyebrows and a smile. My wife absolutely loved her drip coffee with the organic half and half, exclaiming that we had to return again, and again. To which I had absolutely no objections. My baby girl had the fancy macadamia, coconut latte - much to her gleeful delight. The only sad detail about this establishment was that it took us 4 days to literally trip over the modest little stand. Lastly, Kristen is the kindest person you can meet.
