We were greeted right away on this early morning with a friendly smile. We asked for recommendations and the Purple Haze was said to be their most popular and I can see why. It was so delicious! My friends and I were in the area for the weekend staying at an AirBnB and decided to find somewhere on our way out of town to stop for coffee and something to eat. We found Coffee House 26, and were pleasantly surprised at how amazing this little place was! My best friend and I are both current/past baristas in Portland, and we're not necessarily the snooty kind of coffee drinkers, but we are certainly used to pretty high quality coffee, and WOW, we were amazed by how delicious our drinks were! I got an oatmilk cappuccino and my friend got an almond lavender latte. They are very LGBTQ+ friendly, even selling cute rainbow merch, and the vibes are immaculate. When we came in at about 11am on a Sunday, Amber was the only person working, and there was a large group ahead of us, who had each ordered a drink and a food item, so my group expected to have to wait for a good while. Amber absolutely slayed that rush, all by herself!! And the whole time, she was making conversation with customers and giving the best service. I don't have the opportunity to come out to this area very often, but you better believe that when I do, I'll be making a stop here, and I sure hope I have the pleasure of having Amber make my coffee! This is hands down the best coffee house I have been to while visiting Oregon. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing, and the staff is spectacular. There are a mix of vintage and modern furniture pieces and plenty of drink selections to choose from. Amber made our coffees and they were DELICIOUS! There are books and art available for browsing and there is adorable "big foot" themed art and figures within the shop. I strongly recommend this establishment to anyone visiting this area!
