A "Must-Stop-When-Hungry". I passed this little place when returning from a day on the slopes at Mt. Hood. The sign with "Gourmet Wraps" caught my eye. It is a small, very nicely decorated spot to grab a bite and a brew. The young gentleman at the bar suggested the Hamburger Burrito, and offered additional toppings, but also said it was great the way it comes. Man, what a mind-blowing wrap. The two stars are for the fries and the nice bartender I was starving after hiking all weekend in Oregon and decided to pick up a burger, salad and fries here to go. I ordered at the counter (only one person in front of me) and the lady who took my order repeated it to me and everything was correct. Then I sat and waited... and waited.... And waited for over 30 min to finally get my food. My burger was incorrect (ordered it as a bowl) so I asked if I could get it fixed and the lady was so upset! She stormed off and then I got the burger back so quickly I was a little weirded out. She basically tossed the burger at me and didn't respond after I said thank you. Got back to my hotel (3 min drive away) and the fries were nice and hot and the burger was rock hard and cold. Clearly they had given me an order that had been sitting there. Stopped by this gem of a place during our recent trip to Mt Hood Village where most of the places shut down by 8PM. Surprisingly this place was open and empty on a Friday evening. We ordered their Rattlesnake burger (delicious chipotle spread), Spicy chicken taco, veggie taco, Santa Fe veggie wrap, sweet potato fries & onion rings. The santa fe wrap was okay but rest of our food was delicious. If you want to enhance the flavors even more add the hot sauces they have on the table to take it to the next level. Fries and onion rings were delicious too. Service was good. Food was out pretty quick. Decor is nice and cozy with ski-vibes and beach vibes. They do have outdoor seating as well. Without exaggeration I've been here more than any other single restaurant in the last couple of years, largely because it's consistent and a pretty good value on the mountain. It is my daughter's favorite place near Mt Hood, we refer to it as "sticker door". I've had every burger several times, and a few of the other items. It has been great every time, and the one or two times there was any issue (out of 40+ visits) they always have made it right, which deserves recognition. Friendly service. Great outdoor space with water bowls for dogs. Don't forget the fry sauce (impossibly rare in these parts) or jalapeño ranch for your fries. I get the rattle snake burger the most by far. Wraptitude is an EXCELLENT restaurant and music venue very close to Mount Hood. I came here to see the amazing and awesome Chirs Baron perform, and I had an amazingly great time. Wraptitude thoughtfully has very large and prominent signage, making it easy to spot, even in the middle of a torrential downpour, which is what I encountered on my trip. The parking lot is very large, and parking is easy. Wraptitude definitely has its own feel and vibe, with lots of inspiring and kind decorations, stickers, and signage, and an exterior emblazoned with the same. It took me a bit to find the door, because it is completely covered in various memorabilia that camouflage the door itself and the door handle. The atmosphere is rustic and warm, and the staff are incredibly friendly and personable. The food is quite good, too. I opted for a pulled pork sandwich and fries. The pork was tender and smokey, and the fries were nice and crisp, and especially flavorful. Fountain drinks and iced tea are self-serve after ordering. I was very happy to find individually packaged GIANT cinnamon rolls, so I bought one of those, too. They're an outright steal for their low price, and the freshness and flavor were excellent. Definitely one of the better cinnamon rolls I've ever had. Wraptitude is tiny, making each seat a good seat to see any of the musicians that perform there. If you're in the neighborhood, or even if you're not, I'd recommend making a trip to Wraptitude. read more

First visit to Oregon and wanted so much to have this visit be a 5plus star. We looked over the menu starting while in Bend. The burger was tasty but a bit too much bun. The fries were damn good. The place has charm to spare. Live music on a summer night with good brews. We'll just can't beat that. Service was pleasant and folks were at the ready. So why not 5. We'll the tacos we bland. Literally pulled pork with mass produced market tortillas. No sauce to moisten things up. I recommend soft frying the tortillas on the grill to make them taste better. The stout beer was a decent pairing with the Goose (burger). Staying in the area for 8 days so definitely will be back. Let's see if we can get the score up. read more

We have visited this location several times. We have only ordered takeout and wraps. The takeout process is easy: just like eating in, you order at the register. The menu is pretty simple and clear. The people who have taken our orders have been very nice. The wraps are consistent: plenty of ingredients and the same amount each time. I mention this because we have found inconsistency in other businesses around the area. We gave tried The Alamo, the burger wrap, the tuna wrap, and the BbQ wrap. Our favorites are the Alamo and BBQ wraps: both have a lot of flavor. One wrap is plenty for one person. The fries were only so-so. The onion rings need to be crisper. It's a chill atmosphere with counter service to order and table serve when getting your food. This is now a regular stop on our takeout route. So, the atmosphere is kind of a mess, but it in a good way. It a mashup of Tiki, surf, ski, snow, beer, signs and more. It looks to be the watering hole for locals as there was a musician/singer starting as were finishing up, even being a Monday night. Service, we'll that's up to you. When you come in they announce from the bar, even when your the only costumer there, that the menus are by the door (you just walked by them), grab a table and come up to the bar to order. They don't serve anything, you go and get it (oh except they did bring the food to us, so there's that). So do go if you want service. I had the Goose: fried egg w/bacon & cheddar cheese on a 1/3lb patty and beautifully toasted bun...the burger is neat, proportioned all and deeeeeeelicious. And that bun makes the burger! My co-eater had the Big Kahuna: 1/3# patty, pineapple, teriyaki and Swiss cheese...mmm so good she finished before and I was the one that had been skiing all day and hadn't eaten since breakfast. I had a Eliptic(?) tangerine sour ale, 16oz...refreshing. She had fountain lemonade. We also had a large order of onion rings (frozen type) but there were fine, good with the burgers. We also got a couple Ruby Jewel (rBST free) REAL cream/milk ice cream sandwiches (prepackaged) to go 'cuz we were full after the meal, locally made in Portland, OR. My fiancé and I stopped here and found it virtually empty. The decor was eclectic and relaxing. We sat and watched tv while the server and cook made our sandwiches. There were a few black beans and a small amount of sauce and chicken in a wrap. What was in there was good, but the proportions are in favor of way too much rice and too little of the chicken and sauce, which itself was good. I think the price calls for an upgrade. We are typical tourists visiting from the Willamette Valley. We were looking for low carb options due to health concerns. We took a look inside and a quick glance at the menu. It did not look promising so we tried some other places and in the end decided to go back. Bottomline: We did not look at the menu carefully. All the burgers and wraps are available in bowls. The person that took our order was extremely patient and helpful. I tried the Rattle Snake per his recommendation and it was awesome!
