Mt Hood Parkdale has a secret coffee store. And not only that it's a cute and very unique place. I've been going to Mt Hood for about four years now and JUST NOTICED this place. They have a very very tiny store front sign on the main road - which is often overlooked. The place is behind the only gas pump in town next to the laundry mat. I just happened to pump gas and then wandered back there to then turn around when I noticed this place. Parking is easy and it seems this place is known to the local community but not to visitors of Mt Hood Parkdale.

We found their entrance super easy just off 2nd street in downtown Parkdale - just east of McIsaac's grocery store.

Everything about this place is a "yes." The owner. The location. The interior. The coffee.

I tried their tater tots, pretzel, and pizza while there. The pretzel was great! The pizza was good. And the tots were just fine. I didn't have any complaints and I'm sure I'll be back. The service was a standout! My mom - who appears to be a regular - is on a first name basis with the staff and they all treated us very well. The food was quick enough and it came out with a smile. The ambiance is one of Mo CO's biggest positives. When it isn't 40 degrees outside they have a very nice patio area that usually has a fire going. Inside they have a stylish bar and plenty of family seating as well. They even have some merchandise to look over while you wait for a table! Overall Mo Co is a great spot to stop at if you're rolling down 84 in either direction.

The menu is burgers and pizza with a few random items, which was what we ordered surprisingly. All the staff were super friendly - also let us know the food would be 30 minutes before ordering. The wait does not feel long with the view and a beer on a nice day. The pretzel was magical! Piping hot and absolutely scrumptious! I would drive back from Portland for another any day!! Cheese and Mustard both top notch! The Salmon Burger was grilled well, tasty - tortilla chips are a weak side. Blue Salad with Fried Chicken was pretty good. It was a nice combo to split.

Inside, it appears their main focus is roasting the coffee rather than your typical hipster decor. There is no seating available- more of a grab and go establishment. Service was extremely quick and friendly. I ordered a decaf hazelnut latte since it was the afternoon. I was not disappointed! It was so smooth and the perfect sweetness! I ordered a drip medium roast, grabbed some of their own beans to take home, and added a chocolate chip cookie and a sugar cookie to the order. The coffee was clearly the star here--roasted in-house with the kind of attention to quality you can taste in every sip. This is the type of independent shop that reminds you why you veer off the main road. Cozy and small with a rustic Oregon feel, there's no frills and no seating--just a laser focus on excellent coffee and a few well-chosen treats. The staff were warm and friendly, exactly the kind of welcome you hope for in a roadside discovery. As our Oregon trip winds down, Mount Hood Roasters stands out as one of those local gems you can't help but admire for its simplicity and dedication to doing one thing exceptionally well. Next time we're in the area, it's an automatic stop. If you enjoy coffee, whether your palate runs toward casual or connoisseur, you'll appreciate this place.

Keebler coffee always hits the spot…read more Comfortable, cozy atmosphere with plenty of seating. Always, excellent service! Dihlyla is a gem! I love the Matcha and Mr. Wonderful sticks with his staple, a mocha.

(If not for D, this would be a 1 star review)…read more I've been a regular at Keebler Coffee for about a year, and until recently the service has always been solid. But over the last two Saturdays, my experience has been extremely disappointing because of the new barista, M. Two weeks ago, M waited on every person in front of me, but when it was my turn, she never took my order. She spent some time finishing (or appearing to finish) tasks for earlier customers, but once those were done, she drifted into random, meaningless tasks instead of helping the people waiting at the counter. My order was never taken at all--I stood there for 15 minutes and eventually left. It was one of the most bizarre customer service experiences I've ever had. This past Saturday wasn't any better. There were only about seven people in the café--three of them in my group--and yet M still couldn't figure out who a prepared sandwich belonged to. The same thing happened with a drink order. She simply couldn't identify which customer the items were for, even in a very small crowd. It was disorganized and frustrating to watch. Once again, the only thing that kept the situation from completely falling apart was D, the barista who consistently provides excellent service. D stepped in, tracked down the correct customers, took orders efficiently, fixed the mistakes M made with mine, and kept the café running smoothly. D is professional, attentive, and clearly cares about the customer experience. It's easy to understand why she seemed frustrated--she was essentially doing her job and M's at the same time. Keebler Coffee has been one of my favorite local stops, but M's lack of basic customer service skills--difficulty taking orders, organizing them, and delivering them--has made my last two visits extremely disappointing. If it weren't for D stepping up and keeping things on track, this review would be much harsher. I truly hope management addresses what's happening, because the service here used to be dependable.
