Very cool restaurant with lots of seating indoors and out. Their patio was beautiful! We got a pizza and jalapeno poppers. As well as their in-house kombucha and ginger beer. One of the best kombuchas I've had! I thought the food was okay, but my husband loved it!

What a neighborhood gem! And not just because they are the only restaurant in Mosier. Because they have created a warm, welcoming and casual place to share a meal and have drinks. Good for families, couples, groups or a single. Everyone is welcome. Even dogs. Love the outdoor area which is quite large. Lots of different seating areas with white party lights strung across the trees that creates a great ambiance. Inside is also nice with a great bar, lots of tables, warm wooden walls - but during Covid, not available for dine in. We have come for dinner a few times and shared pizza and Cesar salad. The nights we were there it was triple digits so they only had the pizza ovens going, none of the regular ovens, so menus were limited. The pies were great! Dough on the thicker side, my only criticism, but it had a tasty red sauce, lots of cheese and pepperoni. One pizza fed three hungry adults. A fan of cider, was thrilled they had two on tap. The server let me try each, both local, which I really appreciated. One night we arrived at 10 minutes to 9:00 and they close at 9:00 and they still served us. With a smile! That's service and that's just one of the things that makes this a great neighborhood spot. On weekends this place gets really crowded, cars lining the nearby streets. And the back patio is packed and lively. I've heard they often have live music, too. Looking forward to trying other items on the menu and having more meals and pints on the back patio.

Had a wonderful evening here while we were staying in Mosier for a weekend getaway. We came on a Thursday night looking for somewhere nearby with good outdoor seating. There were several outdoor fire pits, both gas and wood that groups could sit around. We placed our orders inside and we're told about a 30-40 minute for the food to come. We got our drinks and went to find a spot outside. There weren't any available when we arrived, so we took a seat at an unheated picnic table. The winter cherry cider was excellent and not too sweet. Our food came after about 30 minutes and a fireplace opened up just as it did. A server was kind enough to help us move our food and drinks over to the fireplace so we could warm up. The pretzel was small but tasty and the burgers were good quality and had a good meat flavor. Grilled cheese and tomato soup were very cozy on this cold night. All the staff were so friendly and helpful and the place had a great vibe overall.

Went to Mosier Company right when they opened at 4pm on a Sunday afternoon after walking around Rowena Plateau. We ordered the Mac N Cheese with jalapeños and the Salmon Burger--both were good, especially the fresh tots! Regarding covid, they have a huge outdoor patio with ample seating and distancing. Orders are taken behind plastic dividers and they keep it as contactless as possible.

I am so glad we found this place in Mosier, on our tour of the gorge area. The MoCo is spacious and plenty of elbow rooms to share your coffee, beer, wine and good selection of food. I can easily see why the locals come here all the time, but the out of towners like me can enjoy it. We happen to get lucky with the gorgeous early fall weather, so we sat outside in the picnic table area. The combination of falafel sandwich with olive tapanade was spot on. The right amount of saltiness from the tapanade, while the aromas of the spices from the freshly made falafel combined gave me the big smiles. The burger buns were toasted just right amount of golden brown color on the underside. Just imagine the parade of the aroma, flavor and the texture in your mouth when you bite into it. I can't forget to mention the cucumber sauce that topped the falafel. Awesome combination of sweetness to naturally bring out the cucumber and the onions. I like this combination of tapanade and falafel so much so that I think I will try my own at home! I can think of adding a slice of avocado as a variation to this this already excellent sandwich.

Definitely got the small town diner feel here, and everything on the menu sounded so good! They also have a specials board inside so make sure to take a look before you make your decision. I finally decided on the south of the border omelette, which also comes with hash browns or potatoes or fruit, and a biscuit or muffin or toast. Such a satisfying and filling meal! The omelette itself was not short on ingredients at all, and I loved the cilantro. The menu did mention homemade salsa but I didn't see any of that on the side or inside. Other than that, the eggs were cooked nicely. I picked the chorizo biscuit on the side and it was so soft and fluffy inside! I also appreciated the amount of options on the kids menu. There was plenty more options than just your standard pancake, bacon, and eggs. Our kids loved the pigs in a blanket which was actually quite big and perfect for our two kids to split. Service was awesome, our server was so kind and even brought out our friend's son's maple bar with a candle because he mentioned it was his birthday. She did it without us even asking which was so sweet! The food came out so quickly too despite the entire restaurant being full. Great experience here at Bette's!

This is one of our go-to spots on Hood River. We've been here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and…read moresomehow they manage to nail it every single time. Today's mission? Split the St. Helens Burger, an order of fries, and a side salad with the recommended goat cheese (trust them--it was the right call). The burger was everything you want it to be. A fresh poppy seed bun, a perfectly cooked patty, sweet caramelized onions... and then came the poblano pepper. That little bit of smoky heat tied the whole thing together. Now let's talk about the fries because they deserve their own paragraph. These are, without question, my favorite fries. They arrived hot, crispy, perfectly golden, and had that satisfying crunch that makes it impossible to stop at just one. If you're a fry person, these alone are worth the visit. The side salad was fresh and flavorful, and the creamy goat cheese took it from "just a side salad" to something I'd happily order again. It was the perfect balance to all those delicious fries. If you're looking for a place that consistently delivers great food in a welcoming atmosphere, Kickstand Coffee should absolutely be on your list. We've yet to have a bad meal here, and it's one of those places we recommend without hesitation to friends, family, and anyone who asks where to eat. I now wish I didn't let my husband eat more of the fries. Gotta head back up there soon! Service was great and love that the girl at the counter asked me if I was doing anything fun today - extra friendliness goes a long way!

Everyone else is already finishing up their drinks and meals. Wanting just one drink after a long day, I head to the bar! My wife asks me to get her one too. Here's where it gets bizarre. Kickstand has a bar...well, it looks like a bar. But what I found out is that it's just for looks because it doesn't act like a bar. I thought ordering two cocktails and paying for my drinks would be easy, like it is at every bar in town. But the bartender, I mean employee standing behind a bar, asked if I was with the large group. I stated, "yes, I was." Then she proceeded to tell me that the drinks would be on someone's tab. But I showed up late...I don't know what's happening. I don't know who's paying for the "tab". I just wanted to buy two drinks and walk away. But that wasn't allowed at Kickstand. Then another employee walks up and attempts to take my drink order. Super confused, I tell her the employee standing behind the bar just took my drink order. And then we proceeded down the tab conversation again. The second employee said because "we" were a party of 8 or more, I couldn't pay for my own drinks and I they would have to put it on the party's tab. But again, I don't know who owns the tab. If it was the woman having the birthday, I didn't want to add to her bill...on her birthday. Then they suggested I "could just Venmo" the party girl. No! I want to just order two drinks and have Kickstand take my money. Why wouldn't they just take my money?! The place was dead tonight, other than the 5 or so small daycarel families, sitting at their own tables, that made up the "party". I canceled my drink order and walked away out of protest and principal. When asked if I was with the big party, I should have said no I guess. Lesson leaned for next time, if there is a next time. Kickstand, you're so difficult and frustrating!!

I'm thrilled to have great Mexican food right in the center of Mosier, a tiny "Mayberry RFD" of a town with just a handful of food options. There is MoCo, a restaurant that is open for lunch and dinner Thursday-Sunday and serves pizza, burgers, salads and is excellent. Randonne Coffee for rich and delicious coffee, breakfast sandwiches and the most buttery scones. Service was prompt, and the restaurant atmosphere is very pleasant. It's kind of funny because you'll have people in suits having a business meeting over dinner, and other regular hotel guests just dining casually in t-shirts and jeans. When we were there for dinner, we were having a really hard time deciding what to order, and our server let us know that there was a 2-for deal going on for some of the pastas.
