This is a nice small town restaurant that offers great food, nice service, and a fun environment. Mosier Company (or Mo Co as they have seemingly nicknamed themselves) is a great stop if you're in the area or driving through. I tried their tater tots, pretzel, and pizza while there. The pretzel was great! The pizza was good. And the tots were just fine. I didn't have any complaints and I'm sure I'll be back. The service was a standout! My mom - who appears to be a regular - is on a first name basis with the staff and they all treated us very well. The food was quick enough and it came out with a smile. The ambiance is one of Mo CO's biggest positives. When it isn't 40 degrees outside they have a very nice patio area that usually has a fire going. Inside they have a stylish bar and plenty of family seating as well. They even have some merchandise to look over while you wait for a table! It may be one of the only options in town, but it is a great option. Very casual spot with a huge back patio, great if you have kids or dogs. The menu is burgers and pizza with a few random items, which was what we ordered surprisingly. All the staff were super friendly - also let us know the food would be 30 minutes before ordering. The wait does not feel long with the view and a beer on a nice day. The pretzel was magical! Piping hot and absolutely scrumptious! I would drive back from Portland for another any day!! Cheese and Mustard both top notch! The Salmon Burger was grilled well, tasty - tortilla chips are a weak side. Blue Salad with Fried Chicken was pretty good. It was a nice combo to split. read more

The cutest little stop of the highway. An adorable patio. Great place to stop and eat. Lots of parking. Staff are friendly. Good was okay. I ordered the macaroni and cheese. I was disappointed when I tasted mustard. Who puts mustard on macaroni and doesn't label it?? I had 3 bites and then did not eat any more of it. I'm sure I'd enjoy the pizza though. The menu is incohesive and boring, the food is mid at best and the owners couldn't care less about customer service. They had the audacity to act like I was out of line for thinking that a strong dose of *cumin* in a Caesar dressing is something you might want to mention on your menu. Another example of restaurants in the gorge not caring about being having quality food or service because they know unsuspecting tourists will come in the door no matter what. What a neighborhood gem! And not just because they are the only restaurant in Mosier. Because they have created a warm, welcoming and casual place to share a meal and have drinks. Good for families, couples, groups or a single. Everyone is welcome. Even dogs. Love the outdoor area which is quite large. Lots of different seating areas with white party lights strung across the trees that creates a great ambiance. Inside is also nice with a great bar, lots of tables, warm wooden walls - but during Covid, not available for dine in. We have come for dinner a few times and shared pizza and Cesar salad. The nights we were there it was triple digits so they only had the pizza ovens going, none of the regular ovens, so menus were limited. The pies were great! Dough on the thicker side, my only criticism, but it had a tasty red sauce, lots of cheese and pepperoni. One pizza fed three hungry adults. A fan of cider, was thrilled they had two on tap. The server let me try each, both local, which I really appreciated. One night we arrived at 10 minutes to 9:00 and they close at 9:00 and they still served us. With a smile! That's service and that's just one of the things that makes this a great neighborhood spot. On weekends this place gets really crowded, cars lining the nearby streets. And the back patio is packed and lively. I've heard they often have live music, too. Looking forward to trying other items on the menu and having more meals and pints on the back patio. read more

Had a wonderful evening here while we were staying in Mosier for a weekend getaway. We came on a Thursday night looking for somewhere nearby with good outdoor seating. There were several outdoor fire pits, both gas and wood that groups could sit around. We placed our orders inside and we're told about a 30-40 minute for the food to come. We got our drinks and went to find a spot outside. There weren't any available when we arrived, so we took a seat at an unheated picnic table. The winter cherry cider was excellent and not too sweet. Our food came after about 30 minutes and a fireplace opened up just as it did. A server was kind enough to help us move our food and drinks over to the fireplace so we could warm up. The pretzel was small but tasty and the burgers were good quality and had a good meat flavor. Grilled cheese and tomato soup were very cozy on this cold night. I am so glad we found this place in Mosier, on our tour of the gorge area. The MoCo is spacious and plenty of elbow rooms to share your coffee, beer, wine and good selection of food. I can easily see why the locals come here all the time, but the out of towners like me can enjoy it. We happen to get lucky with the gorgeous early fall weather, so we sat outside in the picnic table area. The combination of falafel sandwich with olive tapanade was spot on. The right amount of saltiness from the tapanade, while the aromas of the spices from the freshly made falafel combined gave me the big smiles. The burger buns were toasted just right amount of golden brown color on the underside. Just imagine the parade of the aroma, flavor and the texture in your mouth when you bite into it. I can't forget to mention the cucumber sauce that topped the falafel. Awesome combination of sweetness to naturally bring out the cucumber and the onions. I like this combination of tapanade and falafel so much so that I think I will try my own at home! I can think of adding a slice of avocado as a variation to this this already excellent sandwich. read more

After an awesome day of cherry picking, we grabbed lunch here. Our friends who biked the Mosier tunnel found this gem. The food was good, beer/cider fantastic, patio great setup and dog fried ly, corn hole to entertain everyone, and the service perfect. Shout out to Chris who really took care of our large group, from a number of small requests, to bun tops flying off and glass shattering at our feet, oops! Husband and i went to dinner here for his 50th birthday dinner. From the first step into the restaurant there was a great, cozy, lively vibe. We had spent the day sturgeon fishing and this restaurant was the perfect way to end our day. I purchased a hoodie and realized the next morning it was the wrong size. Even though the restaurant was closed for the next few days, I emailed them and they responded within a 1/2 hour. The owner meet me at the restaurant so I could exchange for a different size before we were going to return to California. This went above and beyond customer service. Thank you Isaac. Mosier does not have a lot to offer as far as restaurants so we were excited this one was within walking distance! My burger was not fully cooked so that was a little disappointing. I go there for their hamburgers. Most of the time the burgers are very good. Generally their Tots are good. But this time they were not so good. The music (one man band) was so loud it was distorted. I enjoy going to MoCo for many reasons so let's keep it simple and to the point. -The lattes and challah french toast are a great way to start a day, followed by a mimosa. -If they have enchiladas on special, get them. So hearty and satisfying. -I can take my kids there. Winter or summer, the outdoor space has games, grass, shade, beautiful landscape, and bike parking. -I can go there on date night WITHOUT my kids to enjoy music on the patio or in house. -The ciders they have on tap are local and always fun to taste. This place is a gem in a quiet and peaceful town. Nice work to the folks who had this idea and got it running, what a hit. We really enjoy eating locally at Mosier Company. We're grateful to have such a nice pub in our little town. The local music scene is growing and it's fun to watch the bands on music nights. Extremely disappointed in this place. About a month ago I called AND emailed the restaurant letting them know that a group of ten of us would be coming for dinner Saturday night for my bachelorette party. We were staying in Mosier and wanted to be close to our house after wine tasting. I received a call back from Jordan. Jordan stated that they normally don't take reservations but that they would be happy to accommodate us for this special occasion. I called him back and let him know the time we were coming and that we were happy to sit outside and divide the group if needed. (covid) When we got there NO ONE KNEW ABOUT OUR RESERVATION. Our limo driver was happy to check in for us and so we waited about 40 minutes to see if they could figure out what happened. After that time I walked up to the restaurant myself. I tried several time to tell the man inside about my conversation with Jordan. He was extremely rude. Would not allow me to finish talking and ran down to the limo and pulled his electronic device from the driver so we couldn't have a table. We drove away. There was plenty of options for him to make it right and he chose NOT to. We wont every be going back. Apparently this business is not hurting at all due to covid if they are turning business away. My reply after Jordan's comment: I would be happy to replay your voicemail that I still have on my phone with exactly the words that you said to me about my reservation. You are very much out of line and no where in your reply do you say that you are sorry. WHICH YOU SHOULD BE! I had a limo full of ladies for my bachelorette party that were looking forward to having some food at this place. You weren't there so you don't know what was said and what was not said. The Limo driver attempted to help us originally. After 40 minutes of no response, I myself walked up to try to figure out what was going on. MoCo is one of a kind. Weekend nights it can be really chaotic, but everyone knows that and it's part of the fun. You stand in line to place your order, and they bring it to you. Specials vary. Not a huge menu and the food is pretty simple, but it's all delicious, the beer and cider flow, and it's just a happy scene. Kids running around, good outdoor and indoor seating. The days when it's open in the morning are extra special: the home-made apple fritters are worth a long trip in themselves, and all the baked goods and coffee are just first-rate. Last Satuday we arrived with a large group and they served us all well. The food was fresh, plated well and delicious. The Salmon chowder was perfect not overwhelmed with cream and potatoes. The flavor of the salmon was well balanced with the other ingredients. They have only been in business a month and the forest fires in the Gorge have made it difficult for all the tourist and service industries in the Columbia Gorge. If you find yourself in the Hood River area take the side trip to Mosier to eat here. No parking issues here and lots of space to eat outdooors and inside. read more
