Love coffee exchange! Great environment and the staff are lovely. They have pastries from local places too, all of which are delicious! The cold brew is great and I love that you can add your own milk - oat and almond milk included!

Let me say I've been to many different cafes. I got an iced latte from here and it was sooooo good! Had to keep going back. It's busy all the time but the coffee and food is worth it.

I recently came back to Coffee Exchange to purchase coffee for friends since I knew they really enjoy Coffee Exchange. Next to the order counter, there is a collection of Coffee Exchange's sustainably sourced, and freshly roasted, specialty coffee. A staff member welcomed me and asked how he could help. I informed him I was looking to purchase a pound of the Guatemala Chajul American Roast and Colombia Fudam American Roast. He asked if I wanted it to be grinded and I said yes. Then, he asked if it was for French press, chemex, espresso, or drip. Since I wasn't sure what brewing method my friends used, he asked if they lived locally and I said yes. Since different methods require different grind sizes to optimize extraction and flavor, he didn't want to grind it and the taste to be negatively affected. He informed me that my friends can bring the coffee beans to Coffee Exchange and they can ground it for them. I appreciated that and he was very friendly.

This spot is so cute. The inside is so comfortable and surprisingly spacious. The coffee is great and it's so cool to see the selection of beans right at the shop. The coffee was nice and service was pretty efficient!

Amazing coffee and vibes! This is my favorite coffee shop in Providence. The espresso and drip coffees are all great! I've also used their beans at home in my chemex and really enjoyed them. Really great spot

This place has a great selection tea and some gluten-free snacks. It's always very crowded when I go there however. I guess people like the coffee! That being said, it's often hard to find someplace to sit.

Amazing location and vibes inside. Hot cocoa and chai are both great options for non-coffee drinkers. Busy for a reason!

We came on a weekday morning around 11am, and every table was taken! Great ambiance, but definitely very busy with many people working on laptops. 4/5 Caramel Latte -- sustainably sourced house roasted beans, personally I expected a bit more roasty notes from the espresso. There was also many prepackaged syrups along the wall, and wished they had homemade syrups.

Friendly service and great coffee. Just a little loud due to the customers who come in and basically shout at each other.

Great coffee. I've only been here twice but will keep coming back because of the high quality coffee beans, desserts and service.

    Not open on weekends?

Sorry Michael, Since the Pandemic started, we've only been able to open 7-3 mon-Fri. We're down to 8 people from 28, so our hours need to be managed to maintain this small staff and not open up for more people inside (social distancing. etc.)…

I ordered their cold brew with house-made brown sugar rosemary syrup, and it was so good! The rosemary adds a subtle herbal note that makes it stand out from your typical flavored coffee. It was one of the more unique coffee combinations I've tried, and the friendly barista made the visit even better. If you're looking to try something beyond the usual vanilla or caramel latte, this is definitely a spot worth checking out.

There were plenty of seats for parties of all sizes but this weekend was definitely packed. Regardless, we loved the chill barista and our orders came out pretty quick. The overall vibes were nice, bustling, modern yet cozy. This definitely feels like the spot to study, catch up with friends and spend a lot of time in. Though I came in with the intent to order coffee, the Coco Ube Matcha on their spring menu caught my eye. Light with the right amount of sweetness, I really enjoyed this matcha. The chicken quesadilla itself had all the right things going, cheesy, gooey, savory, meaty and flavor packed. Paired with a side of sour cream, this piece of heaven is easily one of my favorite handhelds I've had in a while. If it's your first time visiting or meeting up with someone, do make note of them having two locations!

Super flaky and a lot of delicious flavor from the filling and garnishes. It was very busy when I stopped by midday. They were out of some items already (I missed out on trying the French onion croissant before they replaced it with another menu item). I did find a spot to sit outside but I can see it being even harder to find a seat during peak times. It's a bit off the beaten path yet it's known and popular for a reason. I'm looking forward to visiting again and trying more items and of course the coffee!

It was a Wednesday afternoon, and I was craving a good latte. I had seen this place on social media…read moreand added it to my list of cafes to visit. There is a parking lot in the back, but I was not sure if it was for the café or apartments downstairs, so I just found street parking nearby. The inside gave me Spaniard vibes because of the cream, smooth walls and dark wooden accents. The following were the two things that instantly caught my attention when I walked in: They have merchandise on display for sale and it seems like high quality material and they had a vehicle made of croissants on display, maybe about 1.5 ft x 1 ft x 6 inches. They have their pastries on display which helps visualize what you're getting before buying it. They are unique and big in size. Their drink menu is good and includes a mix of teas (including matcha) and coffee. I went with the bee latte which was supposed to have honey, cardamom, and cayenne. I was interested in seeing how sweet, herbal/minty, and spicy would taste together. I was also [easily] self-convinced into getting a Za'atar croissant. After our order came out, we walked outside and sat at their patio area which has about 5-6 tables enough for two people each. The latte was good. I appreciated how it was not sweet, but I did think the cardamom was too subtle. It seemed like the cayenne was powder just sprinkled on top and I might've inhaled half of it on my first sip, so I was dying a bit. The Za'atar croissant was given to us in a brown paper box with the outside of their building drawn onto it. Since we asked for it toasted, it was warm and extra crispy/flaky on top. It was flat (about 1 inch thick) and about 6 inches in diameter, so big enough to share if you're just interested in a light snack. The inside of every swirl was packed with olive oil, middle eastern herbs, and lots of sesame seeds. Although it may take away from the traditional flavors and way of eating it, I wish it came with something to dip it into like whipped cream cheese or smashed olives. Nonetheless, it was delicious. On weekends, they have a laptop free policy which I think it good to allow for more people to enjoy, rather than people taking up tables for a while to do work.
