I honestly love their drinks (when make right) but this spot is so so inconsistent when it comes to making the drinks, I usually order couple drinks for my husbands corporate so when some of his co workers started telling me some lattes didn't even have espresso and the drink look so milky that's when I complained and Devin (I guess manager) very condescending told me I was lying like uh ok sure? Also when it came to the milks, they made some drinks with whole milk when it was supposed to be oat (that's why I paid extra) I was just looking for a problem to be resolved since we spent so much money here so that's when I stop ordering drinks from coffee dose. My friend and I visited Coffee Dose after having lunch close by. Being Sunday 2/15/26 my friend wasn't sure if they would be open but we were pleasantly surprised that they were. I liked the layout of the place. There were places to sit, toys for kids to play with and the atmosphere was welcoming. He's a regular and ordered his usual Bananarama. It was my first time so I went with the Dreamsicle which was delicious. Customer service was friendly and we got our drinks promptly. A banana latte? Sign me up! I recently returned to the OC and have been looking for a good coffee shop with unique drinks. I saw Coffee Dose was offering Mel's Banarama and had to stop by. The location of this Coffee Dose was a bit confusing and puzzling (like, "honey, where are you taking me?" puzzling). It's nestled in between buildings in a business/shipping park. It was packed when we got there but we were able to order quickly and then we waited about 10-15 minutes for our drinks. I loved the banana latte. Such a good flavor and it didn't taste artificial at all. I was so glad we went when we did because it was the second to last day of them offering it. Stopped by on a hot Sunday morning. It's literally a pink box behind between company buildings. You can't miss it when trying to find it. Parking was easy. I got their seasonal Thai Tea with a shot and almond milk. Just enough caffeine to get me through the day and it wasn't overly sweet. My husband ordered a mocha latte and no complaints for him. Are the drinks a little bit overpriced? Yes but you are also paying for the aesthetics. Luckily, we arrived before the line got long. I saw this container and got close as I saw business but casually dressed professionals floating about. And lo and behold. I found a pink container of a coffee shop. Okay, after the surprise closure of Blk dot on Von Karman (RIP) this is my new favorite coffee shop for an afternoon pick me up, for SURE. Parking is super easy (lots of spots in the corporate park it's located in). I love that it's all outdoors, it's just the perfect excuse to get a little sunshine and I can easily bring my dog along too (they even have a little water bowl for canine friends). I've only tried the Orange creamsicle latte but honestly, I think this is the latte to end all lattes for me. If I could figure out how to make this syrup at home it would be game over. But alas, I will stick to Coffee Dose to get my fix. The syrup is sweet and fragrant without being overpowering or artificial. It's a perfect compliment to the espresso. Hubby got me the Mary Matcha and it was disgusting. I felt like I was getting punched in the face with lavender and sugar it was so aggressive. Completely overwhelmed the matcha. Had me wondering, am I drinking potpourri?? I had to dilute at home with my own matcha lattes and used it more as a sugar syrup. I opted for the beauty, which included collagen and lavender with raw almond milk, and my friend got the Mary matcha which also had lavender and raw almond milk. Both drink were amazing, the almond milk they use was very clean in taste, with zero gritty texture. The lavender syrup was also the perfect balance of sweet and not overly floral. Parking was a breeze and we walked up to their neat set-up, it's a stand unit made for a grab-and-go coffee order. They had a cute patio area and a few friend groups & families were hanging around. I ordered the Goldie and my bf got the Thicky Thicc. The worker at the counter was helpful and friendly. If you don't mind turmeric I think you will love the Goldie! It is deliciously spiced and refreshing, and sweet without being overly sugary. My bf enjoyed the Thicky Thicc, saying it's a good, solid americano. However, he also said he preferred my drink instead since it had more going on & was more worth it for the price. The coffee is not bad. The lattes are not good. I feel like they use a light roast coffee which gets covered up by the milk and syrup flavors, so it tastes more like milk than anything. They're also terribly slow because the entire shop is in a shipping container. The menu was way too big for their size. Lastly, for me, the ambience was super cringey. It tries really hard to be fresh and hipster and healthy. There's elements of Olivia Rodrigo and Whole Foods and being "sassy". This store's having an identity crisis. They should just pick one thing they're good at and stick with it. Would not come back. read more
