I adore Coffee Dose both this location and their other various locations. Not only do they have delicious coffee and food but they have a tongue and cheek style so their own. Each location is cute as a button but they are more then their stylish decor and cheeky statement. They back up their sassy chic with delicious coffee and food. They make in house syrups that give their coffee an artisanal flavor. Their avocado toasts are hardy and very tasty. My favorite is the l, Hass If! ( I Love the Clueless movie reference). I'm a third wave coffee snob. I'm on a journey to find the best shops with the best techniques and roasts in the area. South OC is full of cafes like these that cater to sweet hot drinks with poor espresso flavor. This shop wins in the cutesy Tik-Tok era bad grrl Gen Z aesthetics. It has a solid point of view. I judge shops with their lattes. I got one and I could barely taste the espresso and the sweetener that was added. I will not be back unless it's for aesthetics. read more

Needed to find more coffee shops other than Starbucks and found this hidden gem. This location is hidden within a business complex but will stick out once you find it. I love the concept and the unique concoctions. So far I've been here twice. On my first visit, I ordered an iced Goldie which has organic turmeric in it but I couldn't tell. You could either get it iced or hot and it only comes in one size. I also ordered their breakfast sandwich, Breaky Sando. Both were really good and the Sando was huge! The next day I tried the Dreamsicle and the Chi Chi Burrito. Also both really good. The burrito came with a sauce and it was good but I didn't know the spice level until I had a huge bite and it surprised me. So just be careful before pouring the sauce in. read more

So happy Coffee Dose opened up a location in Irvine! This location offers food alongside their regular coffee & tea drinks. The cafe is located in the middle of an office complex, with free parking all around it. There are lots of small tables and seating as well. My friend & I enjoyed the Gentle Monster (filling & yummy) and the Eggs Toast Buddy (eggs were cooked well)! We tried two of their fall seasonal specials, Winter Matcha (tasted like a cinnamon-y matcha) and the Basic Witch (tasted mostly like ginger & cardamom). We also decided to try the Thicky Thicc, which we enjoyed because the vanilla sweet cream is creamier and tasted more like vanilla than the cold foam at Starbucks. The service here was AMAZING! Such a cute and unique spot and I am obsessed with the decor. I didn't know what to order but they were so helpful and my coffee was delicious. The worker, Anh, was so kind and thoughtful and showed me how much coffee can improve your day. I ended up ordering a Goldie and wanted to come back for more. But as the picture I attached says - no working ;). Golden latte with oat milk is stunning, creamy and not too sweet especially if you ask for a little less vanilla syrup (they make that in house). This coffee place is very interesting! Amazingly themed, we've been to both Costa Mesa and Anaheim locations. Both experiences were great, staff was great and pleasant to talked to. My wife loves a few of the specialty lattes, nothing spoke to me so I just got a flat white, which was made very well. Got a latte (around $7) that I think was called the Sexy Witch or Bad Witch or something halloween themed. It was fine tasting, but the service was super slow. The "shop" itself is just a truck with a long bench for customers to sit, so it can be really crowded and not a great place to actually get any work done (if that's what you're after). I have been giving coffee dose my daily money for over a year now. This is the only location I have a problem with every single time almost. I will no longer be coming to this location even though it's right down the street from me... iv never been giving a refund, credit, or anything. Just being told I need to go back and ask for more cream cheese or added sweetener or matcha. Even though I posted photos on here showing that the amount given is absurdly minimal to allot dry.... And the amount of times I have had to go back EVEN THOUGH IM ON MY WAY TO WORK AND DON'T HAVE TIME. It's always a hassle. Today I went back to have them add sweetener and more matcha because it was so light green and watery with zero flavor or sweetener. They "fixed" it and it was still zero sweetener. Was excited to try a new coffee shop. The exploding pinkness was not a great start, but that's just my opinion. I ordered the Goldie without turmeric and she said "the turmeric is very subtle and really completes the drink." She should have warned me that the turmeric is subtle and completely ruins the drink. $6.50 is way too much for any coffee, let alone a small disaster. Find your dose of coffee elsewhere. read more
