i saw cafe ipe one day when i was riding my bike... i was driving through the area one later afternoon and i saw a crowd of people outside so i decided to stop...they were having live music and everyone was having a good time... they were close to closing so we didn't get to stay long...the coffee we ordered was good and the overall vibe of the place was pleasant... every saturday they roast beans and i can't wait till i have time to stop by and check that out! read more

VERY good coffee, roasted right on the spot. However the cafe is pretty big so it gets loud when crowded. Place faces east, so it gets hot inside on a sunny day. They have small (and high pitchy) speakers inside, and play more high energy music than an early Saturday morning might call for. Good is decent but limited to things they can microwave. I have been to Coffee Coffee at least 20 times since they opened. The coffee and food are very good. Plenty of comfortable, outside seating options good for one to 20 people. The service has an old school independent coffee shop vibe, which is to say, generally indifferent and unfriendly, just place your order and move on. read more

Definitely a bit of a scene but such good coffee. We buy costa rica or laughing goat beans which are epic with no burnt flavor and I'm drinking a coconut latte that is the best I've ever had. They also have a really good green tea made with brown rice that is so unique and earthy. Great outdoor seating and live music on the weekends. The ONLY drawback to this spot is that the parking sucks but such is life in Leucadia. read more

This place was really easy to get to from the 5 and we had a pretty easy time parking on the weekend, which was surprising, but also excellent! I got a turkey sandwich, which was pretty good. It seems like the place is great for coffee, but just ok for food. read more

Had the french pressed coffee and the steamed Egg sandwich with turkey and cheese. Really great flavor for this simple sandwich. The coffee was smooth with a kick to get you going. Cute little breakfast place - the bacon scramble was delicious! We ordered a French press to share and it was the perfect amount for 2 people if you each want a couple cups. They give you the French press to take to your table which is nice because you can keep topping off your coffee to keep it warm. read more

Fine espresso, which tasted very nice in my capp, with hints of orange. There were several varieties of beans sold, under a Revolution Roasters brand. This cafe has a couple of gluten-free pastry selections. Great find for artisan java-junkies to chill. read more

Hands down the best roaster in North San Diego County and maybe in San Diego. Lots of selection and some truly amazing coffees. I'm not telling you which one's are the best, those are mine! The staff is friendly and the food is good. The same for the pastries and they make their coffee like I would at home...not too watery, not too dark. Its cool to be there on roasting days. Its done right in the middle of the cafe and the smells are awesome. Plus the folks doing the roasting are always engaging. For an added plus its right next to a surf shop with lots of character and very different boards. Nothing bad to say about this place! read more

had their cold brew (nothing added) twice in a span of a few days and that first sip reminded us of one of the best roasters right now, Stumptown. its medium bodied with almost a tea like flavor. has a good semi bite in the after sip that doesn't stay too long in the palate. read more

When I moved to Encinitas, one of the many things I wanted to find was a coffee shop that I loved as much as in my hometown. I was in luck because Coffee Coffee has THE BEST coffee I have ever had. This is the only place I will buy beans from. Every time I have guest visit and serve them this amazing coffee, we always end up going so they can buy beans to take home. The ambiance is great in Leucadia right on the 101. It is part of the strip of all my favorite spots. Again, buy the beans from here to take home - they are phenomenal. read more

YAY!!!!! i LUV THIS PLACE!!! Why? I am so sensitive to caffeine even decaf but I just adore the taste & smell of it...I crave ice coffee on hot summer days but it usually makes my heart want to jump out of my chest & my stomach ache.........regret usually shows up right after I finish my drink.......BUT NOT TODAY!!! I stopped by Cafe Ipe after cruising Cedros Street for unique gifts/farmers market and ordered a decaf iced mocha w/coconut milk....mmmmmm coconut milk..........first of all is was heavenly, secondly my heart stayed right it should be and I feel great!! The only bummer for me is that I live in Costa Mesa!!!! Long drive for coffee......this place is worth it. Thx Cafe Ipe for helping me love coffee again!! read more

Such a great little spot on PCH for a coffee/snack and a solid atmosphere. Check their website for love music schedules - there is always somebody out one the patio jamming on a guitar. I believe they also have free wifi and of course there is SURFY SURFY right next door. YEW! read more

Great whole coffee beans for sale and the roaster is a really cool guy. The espresso is fairly good, sometimes top notch, just hasn't always been consistent. Certainly worth a try. Still one of the best coffee shops in the north county coastal area. read more

So many good things about this beachy coffee joint. The pour-overs are good. The Cappuccinos are GREAT, especially when Joshua is pouring. And the breakfast/brunch ALWAYS hits the spot. Coffee coffee is a great place to grab a very good Americano (or dirty chai). It has a great "funky leucadia" feel and perfect place for setting up shop and getting some work done. I have not had much of their food but the couple breakfast sandwiches I have had were very good. Baristas are very nice and service is always good. They serve and sell Revolution Roasters coffee - maybe the best roasters around. I buy all my beans from them for home brewing. read more

Love the coffee!!!! I ordered croissant and latte. The latte was so smooth. I went back there twice for my three-day San Diego visit. I wanted to try their filter coffee "pour over coffee", but unfortunately they don't serve that over weekends per the cashier :(. I also bought a pack of coffee bean home. The guy (I believe coffee grinder) was very helpful in explaining different types of coffee. read more
