The storefront doesn't look like much, but it's a great, secret study space with free WiFi and outlets. That was my top priority. I asked the cashier if they served cold brew, to which he responded, "... you mean iced coffee?" The coffee snob within me could not give anything more than 3 stars. Their Nutella drink was okay, but too sweet for me. read more

So tasty, I love it, even my jury duty doesn't feel so horrible after nice lunch! Thank you

The place is cute, located in my neighborhood, and the guy at the register was super nice to us. Pretty good prices, too. That's why I really don't feel like giving it less than 3 stars, however: - The AC wasn't working on an extremely hot summer day so my husband and I couldn't enjoy our time there and had to rush through our drinks and food so we could return to our air conditioned car ASAP. - My jam croissant was STALE, and it was around 12pm. And that's the only type of croissant they had left by that time. - Our coffee drinks were somewhat weak, I didn't taste much espresso in my latte, and my husband said the same about the drink he had. Will probably have to stick with our local Starbucks... :( read more

I purchased a capuchino it did not have any foam and it was not good. customer service was not good as well, very dry and not friendly.

Cappuccino and croissants were delicious. Thanks. It is also nice and clean place with its own character. read more

Hubs and I work in the area and come to this gem every so often. There have been times when we are on our way to lunch - destination unknown as there are many eateries on Main Street - and we don't go any further as soon as we see their signage. Owners are friendly and gracious and every meal I've had has been delicious. The very first dish I had wad a grilled fish in a light tomato sauce. The Italian in me used the bread to soak up the sauce of that dish when I was done eating. Yes! That good! This place is a breath of fresh air in downtown Hackensack. read more

The hazelnut latte was really good, but the drip coffee was worse than my home drip coffee. I'd say the price was very friendly.

I met Elisa in February day and was immediately attracted to the cafe with Cafe Guglielmo theme. A special Blend elaborated in Calabria. Great coffee and croissant with Nutella. Crepes excellent also. Sandwiches ? I do recommend this Cafe Italiano. Daniele Matteo Editor at DrGraybeard. read more

This place feels like an actual coffee break from the hustle and bustle of Hackensack, Main St., and spending the day at jury duty. I had a salad with grilled chicken, tea and a nutella cookie. Food was good. I probably should have had a coffee or espresso of some sort--because it seemed to be the thing there. They also sell Italian products like olive oil, sweets, and pasta. Something about the place feels warm and inviting. If you're at the courthouse, it's definitely worth the 30 second walk. Free wifi and cozy type chairs! read more

Dominick made the best iced latte with "ice cube made out of coffee"! He made it with so much love! What a quaint little cafe!

I was just at the coffee break today and the food was delicious. We had 3 cups of coffee and those Italian sandwiches. If you're ever in downtown Hackensack and want to have nice danishes and fresh coffee and great sandwiches I would definitely recommend this place read more

I work in the area and it's hard to find good coffee. Sure enough thanks to Yelp I came here yesterday afternoon to try a turkey, mozzarella, tomato and lettuce sandwich along with a double macchiato. Sandwich was great and filling, the macchiato kept me wired for hours (lol!), and the service was absolutely amazing. I spoke with the owner - I did not get her name - she was extremely attentive and sweet. Made the experience way better! I'm on my way now to get a coffee and croissant! read more

One word..yum! Figured I had to try this place due to the great reviews and I'm glad I did. Was in the mood for a crepe and coffee. I got the prosciutto arugula and parmesean crepe and am iced latte. The crepe was fabulous. I loved that they put the ingredients on top of the crepe and the balsamic dressing is a must! The iced latte was great ;not too strong not too watery, just right. The decor is beautiful. When you think of low key coffee shop where you can come to just chill out this is the place. Definitely will be coming back! read more

This is such a great little place. I stumbled across this place a few months ago while looking for a decent cup of coffee in the neighborhood of my office. The owner, Elizabetta is always so warm and friendly when you stop in and I am always greeted with a lovely "ciao". They have a small but more than satisfying selection of breakfast items as well as specials and various sandwiches and Panini for lunch. Their coffee, espresso and related beverage kick the butt of any of the known names. If you have a sweet tooth, do not miss the baked items which all taste homemade and awesome. Today's treat for me was a cranberry-pistachio biscotti and trust me, I will be back for more of those soon. read more

My sister works nearby and told me about this place. We just went there today and I am so glad we did. The coffee is great, the owner is friendly. It's also a cute cafe. I had the nutella, banana, strawberry crepe and a cappuccino. Will return soon! read more

This is a wonderful - the vegetable soup Elisabetta makes every day fresh is out of this world and reasonably priced. Today I also ordered a latte which was a pure pleasure to drink - to my taste buds as well as visually. While listening to a poetic Italian language in the background, lunch is the most positive and calming experience you can have. Croissants she makes are so flaky and delicious. The other day I had crepes filled with veggies and that was also irresistible. read more

Oh my god. Cappuccino amazing with my favorite chocolate and cinnamon topping. Even good in hot days, my favorite place for a tasty coffe and a little breakfast savoury. read more

I really wanted to like this place. After reading the reviews and being in the neighborhood, i stopped in. I looked at it then menu and ordered a Iced Double Shot Espresso. The guy at the counter gave me a weird look and said, "You mean an Iced Latte?" I showed him the menu where it said Iced Double Shot Espresso. He still appeared confused so I said, "Okay gimme an Iced Latte." Large? Yes, Large. He filled the cup with Ice and milk and added ONE shot of Espresso(if that's the case I should of just ordered a small since it was mostly milk). I asked him if he was only adding one shot and he replied, "I can add another if you like?" YES PLEASE. I also ordered a Pistachio croissant from the menu but he told me they didn't have it. My total was almost $6.00 just for the large cup of milk with TWO shots of espresso. I must of been charged for the 2nd Shot. Not a good first impression and not very knowledgeable on the menu items. read more

Great place! This cafe has everything it needs to; excellent service, stylish decor, amazing quality coffee and food! Its welcoming atmosphere will make you want to come back there again and again! I leave reviews really rarely but I feel like this place needs to be known. Coffee with Nutella is a must though even regular coffee here tastes soooo good! Love the owners too, they always greet you with a smile and good mood! I wish more places cared about their customers as this one does! read more
