Such a cute and welcoming spot! The folks working were very quick to greet and take my order. They are very spacious to get your work done. I like that their menu included a sweet drinks list, made it suuuper easy to decide I got their hazelnut coffee which was delicious. I love that they also had a punch card for your coffee purchases. Would return :)

Stopped in here for a quick bathroom break and caffeine boost on our way back home. The surrounding neighborhood is not the best, but this coffee shop has a cozy hipster vibe. There are plenty of tables here for sipping coffee and getting some work done. We tried their bagel, a cold brew, and their vegan pumpkin scone. The cold brew wad good and paired nicely with the pumpkin scone. I really enjoyed the scone and loved the sugar sprinkles on top. Honestly, I would have never guessed this was a vegan treat. The staff here is super friendly and they were hustling during our visit. They also offer great Coffee Bandit gear; shirts, mugs, etc. if I lived here this would be a regular coffee stop for me.

What a cute little spot in downtown Merced! The coffees are really good, the food was yummy, and the vibes were awesome! We will definitely be back next time we are in town!

Iced Green Tea with Mango Syrup

My husband and I came here for coffee on a Saturday a few weeks ago. My husband got an iced cold brew. At the counter where they placed the finished drinks, they place milk or creamer, as well as simple syrup so that you can dress your drinks to your liking. I got an iced green tea with mango syrup. It was very sweet. I think the green tea was jasmine green, because the green tea flavor was more subtle. I prefer a stronger green tea flavor, especially when paired with a sweet mango syrup. The tea was freshly brewed, I just wish it was stronger. Otherwise this was a pretty basic "order at the counter, grab your drink from the counter" type shop. There was some indoor and outdoor seating available. The location is great, right on the main street in downtown Merced.

Coffee bar

A good, basic American coffee bar. Service was welcoming, and the best part of my experience. Ambiance is about what you would expect with a mix of students and downtown professionals. No surprises, really.

Ivory Nut and a cute Tote Bag

First off I'm a sucker for raccoons so when I walked in and saw the big raccoon on the floor my mood was instantly lifted. Me and my husband got the same thing, I wish I would have got something different just to try. We were just so tired driving down from Yosemite it was easy to just get two of the same things. We got the Ivory Nut. It was really smooth and not too sweet. Had a mild coffee flavor, it was good. Definitely want to stop in again when I'm in this area to try some different items.

Small Cappuccino

The small Cappuccino was bigger than I thought, it was so so good. I think the coffee here is top tier. Cool vibe and good place to get some work done or read

If your tired of your mainstream coffee come down to Main street to Coffee Bandits, their coffee is roasted on the premises. They also offer alternative milks such as oat milk which goes nicely with either a coffee or Chai. There's plenty of seating as well if you wish to just hand out.

I love this place. But their coffee isn't so consistent. Really cool hill spot to study or hang out. Plus the pub is only just next door!!!

The atmosphere is super welcoming perfect whether you're just vibing, on your laptop, or catching up with someone. The service stands out too-staff are friendly, attentive, and actually take care of you, not just rush you through. You can tell they care about what they're serving. The place itself stays really clean, including the seating area and even the restrooms, which is always a big plus. It gets busy, but it's because people genuinely enjoy being there. Overall, great drinks, great service, clean environment, and a solid vibe all around. Definitely one of those spots you keep coming back to.

I try to make it here every trip home because it is so damn good. Let's start with the goods: the dirty horchata is done very well. Not overly sweet but you actually taste the rice & cinnamon and all the things that make horchata wonderful. The only thing that would make it better is if they offered this dairy free but minor detail! I will suffer lol The cafe con leche is delic! Brown sugar & cinnamon, another unbeatable combo. You really can't go wrong with any drink here. Not only is the space beautiful but the staff is super kind. My 83 year old dad is not comfortable ordering in coffee shops like this and they're always patient and helpful. No notes, 10/10 recommend.

We came across Em-Tea on Apple Maps with 4.0 stars, and we decided on this location. It genuinely did not disappoint, the inside ambiance was super cozy and I loved the vibes it gave! Me and my sisters ordered the Thai tea, a drink mixed with mango and passion fruit, original milk tea, and mango tango. Our personal favorites were definitely the mango tango and thai tea, the flavors really hit! The service they delivered was quick and patient since we were still deciding, but overall everything was great! We aren't from Merced, so it's definitely a place we will come back to again the next time we visit our family or pass by Merced.

There is ample space inside of the facility with plenty of seating, alongside a claw machine and a shelf with board games. The menu was a little overwhelming (the default drink is that they let you pick multiple flavors and I didn't want to risk messing up my own order), so I went with one of their specialty drinks, the Caramel Camel. I set the sugar level to light, yet it reached a level of sweetness that was so intense that I had to get it redone. Even with an ever lighter level of sweetness, it still tasted excessively sweet. Overall, an interesting experience. If this is the best that Merced has to offer, I feel kind of bad for everyone in Merced for not having access to better drinks. Not sure if I'd get the chance to return as I don't normally go to Merced, but on the off-chance I end up in this area again I'd hope that maybe one of their other drinks was better.

Yummy bagels! I…read morestopped by Bagel Tyme with some friends on a weekend morning. If I could describe this place in one word it would be "BUSY." The line to order was wrapped around inside the shop and out the door. I would say the bagels are 100% worth the wait though. They offer a wide variety of fresh bagels, cream cheeses, and toppings. They even have a sandwich menu! I ordered the Beesting Bagel Sandwich which comes on your choice of bagel with egg, bacon, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and a hot honey drizzle. It was absolutely delicious! The bagels were super soft with a nice crust on the outside. The cream cheese was perfectly thick and creamy. The hot honey drizzle really tied everything together well! Because it was so busy, it did take a while to receive our food. The line to order, although long, did go by pretty quickly. There were some tables inside but it was too crowded to find a spot. Luckily we were able to find a table outside while we waited for our orders. Whenever an order was ready, the workers walked around both inside and outside shouting the name of the order which made it convenient for us to not have to fight the crowd to the counter. The only issue I felt there was was the cleanliness. When you are standing inside, you can quite literally see years of caked on dirt on some of the not frequently touched surfaces. The lamps probably had an inch of dust built up. Although this isn't the most important detail, it still makes me question the cleanliness of the whole establishment. Despite this, I won't be held back from revisiting if I am in the area again!

They also missed on my son's order, he ordered two bagels and only got one, so he had to go back and order the second one again.
