Strawberry cream matcha

Located in Miller Alley in Old Town Pasadena, Coffee and Plants is a quaint, aesthetic café that lives up to its name. The company is plant-based and mission-driven, with a second location in Studio City. Immediately upon walking up, the entrance is flanked by outdoor seating, a bike display, and red roses up a brick wall. Inside is just as aesthetic, with a flower wall perfect for photos. There's also merchandise available for purchase, though I was a bit disappointed by the limited selection of plants, some of which looked like they could use some sun. The menu features seasonal specials in addition to its regular offerings. The strawberry cream match was sweet and creamy. There was one person working the counter who was friendly and helpful.

It's right beside the Roll Factory.

Am not a coffee drinker but I love plants so I got curious and decided to visit this place. It's a cute café down Miller Alley of Old Town Pasadena. The vibe is comfortable and welcoming. It was funny when I asked about the puppucino only to find out that it was a drink for one's fur babies. Aside from coffee, they also offer matcha, teas and some snacks. It's a bit of a drag that one has to pay for parking to go to this place.

Situated in an alleyway off Colorado and next to IPIC theater this cozy coffee cafe features well....coffee and plants. They sell plants and feature them prominently in the decor. They have an array of beverages including teas, coffees, and lemonades. I tried the peach please and it was a fun and sweet beverage that I could drink all day. Their menu feature pastries and a menu of vegan friendly menu breakfast items with indoor and outdoor seating. A great place for a quick bite and worth stopping in to try their options. Super friendly service!

Came here today with my bestie and our fur babies on a Sunday Morning. Highly suggest coming in a Sunday. Street parking before 11am is free. No pay to park, 2 hour parking on Union Street. It's been a while since I last been here and it's just as amazing as I last remember! This time I came here to get my coffee fix, get my Pasadena Coffee Passport Stamped, and my best friend had yet to try this place out. Photo op worthy place along with plants to purchase as well! This time I ordered: - Iced Vanilla Latte with Oat-milk - Peach Please ( Lemonade) - Blueberry Muffin - Peperomia 'Ginny' Plant The drinks & food were delicious! The staff were very sweet! This place is dog friendly and had indoor/ outdoor seating :)

Ambiance: it's a cozy and chic small coffee place located in a small alley in Pasadena, with cute decorations and green plants, they don't have a restroom onsite and you have to go to the one located in the corner of the courtyard Service: friendly staff, helpful and attentive, accommodated special request for mugs instead of cups Drink: simple and classic drink menu, vegan options non diary only, like oat milk and almond milk Blue Lavender Latte - **** refreshing taste, recommend Pink Matcha - *** overly sweet Price: decent quality and slightly overpriced, expect each drink costs about $7~$8

Most charming little cafe tucked in an alley way in Pasadena! Plenty of seating. Most of the plants are adoptable and this cafe sits next to a theater. Matcha Lavender gal, and wasn't disappointed!

Berry Energizer?
Gabriel R.

This is supposedly the Berry Energizer. But there in contrast to the advertised photo within the coffee shop are no fruits. No strawberries of any kind. When I pointed that out the barista apologized but then brought out a packet with I guess strawberry flavored powder ti put in. Perhaps it's in the fine print but even though tasty. It's not what was advertised. Also it was loaded with ice. Maybe it was just an off day. Still will come here but definitely need some clarification on the drink Hence the three stars

Avocado Toast
Helen L.

Coffee and Plants is a cute little coffee shop nestled in a little alley way in old town Pasadena. I came and tried the avocado toast. It was good but a little too sour for my liking. They have a few different options for savory foods and a variety of sweet treats and caffeinated beverages to choose from. Nice quiet place to study and/or get some work done.

Dubai Chocolate Latte
Doreen T.

Tucked away in the alley area of Old Pasadena, Coffee and Plants is a charming spot for a quality coffee break and perfect for those Instagrammable foodie moments. If you're using the Pasadena Coffee Passport, you're supposed to get 10% off a drink here, though to be honest, I'm not sure if the discount actually applied. My Dubai Chocolate Latte with oat milk still came out to $10. A bit pricey, but I genuinely enjoyed it. The drink had a nice balance of coffee, pistachio, and shredded coconut, and by the time I finished it, I was surprisingly full. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and I noticed a few pastry options available too. Service was quick, the coffee tasted great, and the overall vibe is adorable. Definitely worth a visit.

Great service, great coffee, and the cutest vibes. Parking is a bit tricky but it's always worth it

We stopped here as we were in town and were so happy to find this cute coffee shop. Staff is super friendly and they have indoor and outdoor seating. We got vanilla lattes one iced and one hot super delicious and high quality we ordered the Savory Tomato, Mozzarella, Basil Flat Puff and chocolate croissant warmed up and enjoyed them so much for another of each to go!

Ice lattes

If you love good lattes and an aesthetic vibe then you'll enjoy this spot! The interior is very cute with the flower and plant decor along with the pink and green tones. When it's not busy it's a calming place to read a good book or do some work, there's power outlets under the couch seating. The chai latte is very tasty, it had a nice strong flavor to it. My pup loves the pup cups too because they put two treats at the bottom lol. Definitely check this out if you're a coffee goer and looking for unique drinks.

This did not disappoint! I got the pandan latte. Definitely heavier on the vanilla flavor but the pandan still comes through. My mom got the crème brulee latte and it was probably one of the better ones I've had. It wasn't just sweet - you could get the essence of that burnt sugar topping. For food we had the spam kimchi cheese croissant and it was so good! The croissant was nice and flaky. There was the perfect ratio of filling. It is a very craveable sandwich. All of this in itself deserved a 5 star review already, but one more thing happened I need to mention. We were just about to leave and I wanted a straw in my drink. I want to put it in the lid and instead I spilled it all over the counter. A woman who I presumed to be the owner immediately came over to clean the mess and told the girl at the counter to remake me a new drink. Given I was taking care of my mom and my daughter today, that small kindness meant a lot to me. Overall, highly recommend Dash. Good coffee and good people.

I love their pandan latte and their creme brulee latte. The creme brulee is on the sweeter side, so when I'm in the mood for that it's perfect. The service is quick and there's not many seats inside. The minute I walked in, the aroma of the coffee and baked goods just organically welcomed me IN! Walked in this morning at 10:15AM, and was greeted by Stephanie. All the people behind the counter were genuinely super nice and friendly, and I am going to leave it at that. Some places can be pretentious and I don't like that. I didn't get that vibe here. Loved it. They have many different options of baked goods, hot and cold beverages, salads, sandwiches, breakfast burritos, and more. They also serve wine. Very unique and interesting. Some coffee shops do serve wine. Love wine, but not in the mornings/afternoons:-)). So, she took my order and got everything right. I ordered an Avocado Toast, 2 Blueberry Muffins, and for my drink, got an Ube Latte. Everything tasted above and beyond fresh and delicious. My Ube Latte was made to PERFECTION! Don't know much about their parking situation, but I found street parking right in the front. They also do delivery, and 3rd party orders. My first time, but definitely not the last. Was so pleased with their hospitality. If I didn't happen to be in the area, I probably would have missed this beautiful gem. Glad I saw it and walked in. The Matcha Latte ($7) was so disappointing. I requested it with less ice and less sweet so I got it 80% full. It literally tasted like milk and I couldn't taste any matcha at all unfortunately. They used to use very high quality matcha but the matcha used now is completely different. I was really looking forward to enjoying the matcha latte because it used to be one of my favorites but this was most likely the worst matcha latte I've had. Overall, the panini was good but the matcha wasn't good at all so I will definitely not get the matcha again!

I wonder if using their higher-quality Uji matcha would take this drink to the next level and make it a home run. I'd also be curious to try it with whole milk to see how that plays with the other flavors. Overall, though, this was a fun drink to try and a great cup in its own right. Tucked on a brick corner building in Pasadena, their simple signage is easy to miss (I've driven by so many times and never noticed!), but stepping inside, you find a spacious and inviting interior with ample table options and even a cozy fireplace in the back. Parking is street only, so you might have to walk a bit during peak times, but it's worth it for the atmosphere alone. There are a couple of outdoor tables too, if you want some fresh air. Jameson Brown is an artisan roaster sourcing beans from around the globe, barrels of beautiful coffee beans are on display and you can watch the baristas access them as they craft each drink to order. The menu is displayed on a giant blackboard, with special and seasonal offerings up front by the counter. New pastry selections include treats like calamansi cheesecake pandesal and sticky buns (with vegan options as well). The staff were incredibly friendly, patient, and welcoming as I took my time deciding what to get. I went with my usual vanilla latte, plus their specialty Vienna latte. I must have ordered the Sicily so many times that they should just name the coffee after me. The staff here is wonderful and the baristas genuinely seem passionate about what they're serving. I know what I like so I haven't gotten around to experimenting with the other coffees, but I can feel the intention behind the menu!
