Prime rib was cold and tough, baked potatoes were as hard as a baseball, never again.dc

We heard people liked this place, but had a terrible experience. Service was trashy, food was overpriced bar food and when we tried to handle a question about a "free desert" my meal came with, the manager, Lou, stonewalled us with a smile... Even after I told him how much business he'd loose and compared that cost with the cost of my suggested solution. He took pleasure in not helping us. I highly suggest you choose another place to eat. read more

DIRTY,DARK,NASTY FOOD. Waited a year to go back there on Sat night around 7PM. The parking lot was only 1/2 full while the other places on 19 where full up. Same manager with his little bouncer buddy in tow. Onion rings fried so hard we could not eat. The Chicken Fried Steak was the same way. While we were there 4 tables had to be comped for lousy food. The couple behind us complained and the manager told them that they have had several complaints about the steak and offered to buy them a drink, They said no and walked out. If the product is bad and you know it,why are you still serving it to the customers???? The menus were filthy, food in the sheets and the plastic placards on the table was just nasty. I would guess the floor has not been mopped for a year. Ever since this manager has been here the store has gone downhill. NEVER AGAIN With out us locals going there they might as well close up. read more

Visiting family and friends for a long weekend, six of us went to Cody's after an afternoon of kayaking, at about 3:30 p.m. The restaurant part was not overly busy, but the bar area was, because of 2 for 1 drinks and sports on the televisions. Out of all of us, no orders came to the table correctly. 3 cheeseburgers that came without cheese, and came with sweet potato fries instead of the regular fries that were ordered. Our waitress, Cheyanne, took them back to the kitchen and returned them ten minutes later, cold, with a cold piece of cheese slapped on them, and the same sweet potato fries. Cheeseburger 4 came to the table when everyone else was almost through eating, but at least it was hot. The guys who ate them said they were just average tasting. Two of us ordered an early bird special of prime rib with a side. When they came to the table, the mashed potatoes were already cold and the prime rib was hard to cut, even with a steak knife. It was very thinly sliced and was totally unseasoned. This was one of our worst restaurant experiences. I certainly do not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Ordered some ribs as the earlybird special. Tender and falling off the bone. Great sauce and the half slab was reasonably priced at $10.98.

Second one of these I have found. Good food, great salad and bread. The cinnamon butter makes you think your eating a cinnamon roll.

Great Steaks! New York Strip is better than Berns!! Huge Salads. Great for take out too

Once again lunch at Codys and once again great food and service! Wed is 2 for 1 fajitas and we were not disappointed . We would have liked it a little more spicy but great anyway just the way it came . 2for 1 drafts good and cold. Waitress very nice read more

One of my favorite restaurants! The salad is the best in the world, with a home made garlic creamy Ranch dressing and cucumbers, shredded carrot, peppercini peppers, yummy croutons! Then hot yeast rolls with whipped cinnamon butter and you haven't even eaten your entree yet! The portions are large and you will definitely take home left overs! We love the garlic fried shrimp, they literally melt in your mouth and 1/2 rack of ribs. Amazing! read more

Had a bad experience at Codys. Waited over 20 mins for refills, along with poor selection of meat. Definitely won't be visiting this location again. read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants ever! Our waiter, Arthur, was amazing and the food was on point! The drinks were always full, too! The restaurant is absolutely amazing and I would recommend this place for the best steak, wings, and basically anything else you can find at a roadhouse like Cody's! 5 stars!!! read more

A funny small chain restaurant with quirky decor and a floor covered with peanut shells. The kids love it (and eat free on Tuesday I believe). There is a diverse menu and good all-you-eat salad with the entrees. read more

Typical roadhouse feel...peanut shells on the floor, old signs, ect. They were out of the prime rib, but they had a strip for the same price. I ordered that and the buffalo shrimp as my appetizer. My server did a wonderful job even when my steak came out med well instead of med rare that I ordered...and it was quickly replaced. The shrimp and steak both were tasty and were reasonably priced. I will be returning. :-) read more

Water dripping from rusty seam in ceiling makes for a soggy eating experience and whilst being ignored half the time the manager on duties idea of a fix is splitting a group apart from each other so they cant even attempt at having conversation as was the whole point of goig out together so id suggest avoiding here unless bacteria filled water dripping in your food and being ignored sounds like a good time. read more

All i can say is i love this place, the best food , service and atmosphere here in Spring Hill. Went for late lunch September 3. The lady who seemed to be the hostess seated me and took my order. Ordered the ribs with chicken and baked potato. Rolls, salad were good. The ribs chicken and potato were not hot. Must have sat out for a while before coming to table. It's served with a small plastic cup of beans which were hot as they should be. I don't like to complain but it was a disappointment. I think I'll stay away for a while. read more

Great happy hour and early bird. Had prime rib. Amazing. Very tender and delicious. Service was quick and efficient. Food came out way too fast. I like to enjoy my wine first. Otherwise no complaints. read more

Love this place. Friendly atmosphere & good food. They have a special for just about every day of the week. Great for kids, too.

Great chicken fajitas, ice cold beer. And plenty of peanuts to eat while you wait.

Great atmosphere and service. Classic American food and decent prices. I love the peanuts at the table and the never ending salad. We ordered the bacon wrapped filet mignon and the French Onion soup. Everything was great. read more

Meal and server were both ok. Salad was wilted and rolls were meh. Drink came out strong from the bar thou! At the price we paid it should thou! Steaks were excellent and perfectly cooked while the sides were nothing special. Booth was dirty and grimy (not just talking about the peanut shells) server was ok. Nothing negative to report but nothing over the top either. read more

Great restaurant. Food was tasty and seasoned well. We went on Monday so kids ate free and drinks were 2 for price of 1.

Good food. Great Bar Burger. Reasonable prices and all the peanuts you can eat!

I have to say four simply because the service was phenomenal except for who ever is in charge of heating tortillas for the fajitas needs to not bring out tortillas that are so stale they're like soft corn chips. my phone was good and over all I really enjoyed myself. read more

Great service and even better food. Love this place. Took a family of 5 and all enjoyed the atmosphere

This place is great. Andy the manager is the best and Brian and Lisa are the most attentive servers. Victoria the host is always smiling. The Thursday night special steak is great. It is our favorite. Always perfectly cooked. We are there every Thursday. We love it here. read more

This is a great resteraunt. It is good for kids and adults alike. They have peanuts in the shell so it was great to have peanuts while we waited. After shelling the peanuts you toss the shells on the floor. There are tons of options for dinner and all of the food was excellent. The service was fantastic. As a table we got fried chicken, baked talapia, casadilla, and fajitas. For desert we got chesse cake and key lime pie. Everything was fantastic. Food - 5 Atmosphere - 5 Service - 5 Cleanliness - 5 (if you don't count the shells on the ground) read more

The food was delicious! I had the prime rib and grilled shrimp combo and everything was cooked perfectly. Love Cody's for years.....Learned there was new management....OK... so let's try it? The new owner paced like a wild animal thought our entire meal up and down the aisles tell the staff what to do! Hmmm not such a great environment. The staff is awesome and he needs to keep a low profile and let them do their thing! How about those days when the owner would come to your table and ask how things are and not harass the staff! Thank you Stephanie for another great service! read more

Had dinner here tonight with a friend. New York Strip is no longer on menu. Waiter suggested the Kansas City bone in steak. It was the greasiest, fatty piece of meat I've ever had anywhere. The service was great as usual but U was severely disappointed in the steak. They need to bring back the NY Strip. How does a steak house just dump one of the popular cuts of meat? I was told by the waiter and also the manager that they had had at least 8 complaints about this in the past few days. I will not return until they bring it back as a permanent menu item. The manager told me she was going to see about trying to make it a special that's not good enough. read more

Great service, great food, great prices. Paid less than 40$ for me and my boyfriend to go on a date together and get an appetizer and all. I got a salad for me but they came to the table and mixed it in front of us and then had enough for me AND my boyfriend and that's pretty cool! I've only been the one time and I'm looking forward to going back again. read more

Didn't care for the stale smoke smell in the lobby. Fries are nothing special and seem like they are from the freezer case of your local grocery store. Burger was ok. Waitress was not the most attentive. I won't be back. read more
