We like to eat at Hooters once or twice a month because they have the best fried chicken wings you could ever want. The wings are always crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The service is great. We're greeted immediately when we come in and we're seated our drink orders taken. Our drinks arrive quickly and when we order our food, it comes quickly as well. We like the ambience because it's loud and fun and they have plenty of televisions that you could watch sports. I've tried other chicken places, but their chicken isn't as good. As much as I love love love Hooters wings, this location is messed up. Ordered at 5:38 for pick up and was told 25-30 minutes. Gave them 40 minutes by the time I drive all the way here. Go in to pay and then they proceed to tell me they are running behind and it will be another 20 minutes. So 2x the anticipated time. Plus the bowling alley people have taken up parking so around and around the building I drive. All I can say is food better be phenomenal. read more

It's not the Hooters of my youth. I was disappointed in the size and price of them wings. So much smaller than I remember and it wasn't worth the 30 minutes we had to wait to get them. No more Hooters for a while until I get over the shock of what they have become over the last 40 years. I've been there many times and always enjoyed a good bucket of roasted oysters, a few dozen clams, some jumbo breaded wings, hot French fries and cold beer. Im a native Floridian and proud of my home state restaurant. I'm normally quite tolerant of a delay when a restaurant is very busy, however this has been excessive and it's not so busy. Admittedly we're a larger party but some things are not adding up. We've waited far too long for drinks, our food came out in extended shifts. We had some food for some time before we got silverware. We can't get all of our drinks because "we've run out of clean cups". This will be my first and last time at this particular store. Our experience started well. Greeted by the manager and was immediately seated. The place pretty full with only a few open tables inside (out was way open). Our waitress came and we ordered our drinks and apps. I was pleasantly surprised at how expedient the apps came out. We got Buffalo Shrimp and Onion Rings. The shrimp were good but pretty small for the $10+ price. The rings were good. The our experience then took a turn. We waited and then waited and then waited some more. After a little over an hour later our main course came. My wife orders naked wings and the other three ordered boneless wings. My wife's chicken was luke warm and her extra fries were ice cold, obviously sitting around for quite a long time. My chicken was warm and tasty but my fries were also luke warm. My guest ordered celery and when the bill came we were charged for 2 orders of celery, and we discovered that ranch and blue cheese is .99 each. The waitress kept bringing them and I looked and it is mentioned in the menu about .99/each (but wasn't aware until bill came - that is on me). We had 8 and obviously too many - think the waitress said something, nope. Bottom line - we will NOT be revisiting this place ever again. read more

Today at 12:30pm I stopped to grab lunch. I ordered a grouper sandwich. It took a while to get. By 5pm I had major food poisoning. I called them to warn them the Fish was bad and I got the bullsh*t from the manager that good poisoning takes 24 hours which is not true. The fact he didn't think this was serious is why I'm posting. They don't even deserve 1 star. Placed an order for a family of 4 & took almost 1hr to come out. A couple that came in awhile after us got their food & left before us. Had to walk out after ordering. Our waitress had her mask pulled down under her chin the entire time we were in this location. The other waitresses wore their masks appropriately. I was going to talk to the manager; however he had his neck gaiter pulled down off his face as he took plated food from the cook staff. Sadly, the cook staff were not wearing their masks appropriately either with the exception of the fry cook. This restaurant should be shut down if management can't be persuaded to lead by example and clean up their act. This used to be my favorite Hooters location. read more

Oh you know, just your average hour+ lunch at the local Hooters. We chose to sit outside and maybe that was a contributing factor of us feeling forgotten.. When we first sat our waitress came pretty quick and got our drink orders and brought them out right away. We ordered 20 naked wings with hot sauce and it took about 30-35 minutes to come out. At 2 PM on a Saturday with an empty parking lot. Whatever, I can get over it. My drink was practically empty and waitress comes out and asks my boyfriend if he wants a refill on his half empty tea. He says no and she goes to walk away. I had to ask if she could fill my empty drink.. which took awhile to come out and was half full... Thankfully our check was taken care of quickly after an hour I was ready to leave. The reason for the five stars is ONLY because we brought a bag cooler and asked if she could fill it with ice and she did which was awesome. read more

Hooters is your traditional wing and pub sports bar. I have eaten at numerous from the original in Clearwater to Westshore to Ybor. I am a resident of Spring Hill. I'll tell you one thing, this location is quite poor compared to the others. Especially the one in NPR off Grand Ave. The food here has zero consistency and somehow can be bland even though they should be cooking and seasoning their foods the exact same way every place else does. My suggestion, go to NPR and have a fantastic time watching boats come in while enjoying consistent, good pub foods while watching whatever your favorite sporting event is on TV. read more

I had one of their new burgers with jalapeño peppers on it and some SW sauce and it was very good. The server was nice and we didn't have to wait very long. I was a little disappointed with the outfits of the wait people. You don't go to Hooters for the food generally but the view if you want to call it that and there was no view with everyone wearing tee shirts up to their necks and brown leotards. We've eaten here several times and each time the service is horrible. We wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt yet it's seems the server training is nonexistent.
