This is my local Zaxbys, my family and I have been going here for some time and its always a fantastic experience. I've never had bad things to say about this location, and for the first time today I did. I always fill out the survey and leave a good review but I wasnt thrilled with my tenders this time around and a manager personally called my phone less than 10 minutes after I filled out the survey. He was so kind and generous and insisted they make it right for me even if it was at a later date. Even if it was a further drive I'd make a point to come back to this location. !!!!!!!!!!!Beware this Zaxby's, I ordered pick up on Door Dash. When I got there (a little early), they said I didn't order anything. I said (i'm a little early), they said nothing anywhere on their system. I said if I sit down and wait the proper time would my order pop up. They said no, it's not anywhere in the system. So I went home (driving now thru dangerous road construction 4 times. I came back with a printout (desktop) of my order and a bank statement that I did order. I asked for the food and a refund, they said no. I said I'm calling corporate complaints, and they gave me the food. After opening the carton I saw dried up stale food and said give me a refund. This is the best part: They gave me $15 and change when I had paid $21.08 with receipt. So to sum up. THEY LOST MY ORDER, MADE ME DRIVE THRU DANGEROUS ROADWORK 4 TIMES, GAVE ME BAD FOOD, STOLE SOME MONEY FROM ME, TOLD ME TO CALL DOOR DASH, (DOOR DASH DID THEIR JOB PERFECTLY), AND REFUSED TO GIVE ME FRESH FOOD and a refund. Terrible drive thru. it's always super slow and today I ordered a big zak snack. they told me tenders are going to be 5 minutes and to pull around to the other side of the building. I waited and waited for 15 minutes then a young man delivered food to the car behind me and acknowledged me. I thought it couldn't be much longer but after 10 MORE minutes I got tired of waiting in the 95 degree heat so I went inside and it turns out they gave my food to someone else so I had to wait for them to make another. the young man up front tried to offer me cookies to make it better but Im not a fan of the cookies. such a shame. now Im using the last 5 minutes of my lunch break to write my first bad review ever!!! It was very tasty, as usual, and I got the blackened salad, because she said the hot sauce was good; I often gust the blue because I'm a big fan of blue cheese. I'm not sure if that is something they do (combining the two, as they are made up ahead of time), but I would like to combine the two salads and get rid of the tomato. They did forget to leave off the tomato, but that was really no big deal, and the workers, including the female at the ordering station, and the young man that smiled and gave me my order, were very nice. This is probably only the second or third time I have eaten at the Spring Hill location, each time being takeout or drive through, but the first time I remembered to write a review. I'm familiar with Zaxby's from another state I used to live in, so they are pretty consistent chain across-the-board of what they offer. I find them to be a nice alternative to Chick-fil-A when I want to get a salad for me, and a chicken sandwich or tenders for someone else. I went through the drive-through but I did notice that the lobby is starting to be open again, I don't know if this is at all the restaurants in this area, but it did give me some hope. They got me again! Although the food is not bad the drive through service is terrible. I have avoided the restaurant because I got tired of them messing up my order. I noticed they have fried shrimp now and decided to give them another try. After waiting an additional 5 minutes for the shrimp to be cooked to order, I arrived home only to find they hadn't included said shrimp in my bag. I'm so over it, I'm never going back!÷) read more

I really liked this Zaxby's. It was my first time in one of these restaurants. It reminded me very much of Chick-fil-A. The only difference being they were slightly less expensive. I had a free sandwich meal fried chicken breast. It came with french fries and a soda. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because it was good but just not as good as Chick-fil-A. The chicken is juicy and tasty and the fries have a nice seasoning. The fountain drinks are terrible here though. I haven't tried the ones behind the counter but if you use the big soda kiosk with all the flavors expect disappointment. Giving 5 stars because for it's genre of fast food, Zaxby's stands out. Being a big fan of another similar franchise, I was very happy to see this in our area. Now we don't ha e to drive so far if we want fast food but not feeling Tacos or burgers. We have stopped here 3 times in the last month or so. Once was for take out. My elderly mom and I share their Nibberlz 3 sandwich meal. I love their crinkle cut fries, everything has great flavor. I brought my hubby with us today, he us trying their wings. He did ask for breaded, bone in but they do not have traditional wings that way so he ordered traditional wings instead. He is a wing man, and he said they were very good. He would come back as well. He wants to try some of the sandwiches he saw on the menu along with their spicy breaded mushrooms. All in all, we are very pleased with the service, everyone is nice and the food is very good. My boyfriend and I ate there. In the beginning the parking lot was packed. I viewed that as their food must be great. We waited to go, because I'm handicapped and can't wait in lines and there wasn't enough parking THEN. So after a month we went. We had been at the softball park and were starved. We feel the chicken portions were too small. Well, Chic-fil-a is much better for the money and tastier. As far as fast food goes, they are over priced and not as good as other places in their category. We decided it was not at our best interest to eat there again. My first visit was take out and when I got home I was missing food and had wrong food. Shame on me for not checking. Wait was way too long for food and no employee there cared about where they worked. Most of them doing nothing. No greetings and no knowledge of the menu. Completed the survey and heard nothing. The food was tasty though. My second visit was dine in and about the same. The antipathy at this restaurant is obvious. Still no knowledge of the menu and every customer in the dining room had something wrong with their food. Missing items, wrong items, Soda machine not working correctly (again). Food not warm. Wait extremely long. The chicken is tasty though. Chick-Fil-A has nothing to worry about from Zaxby's. Chick-Fil-A is a farther drive for me, but well worth it for the genuine happy attitude and care of the employees. My second visit was my last to Zaxby's. Updated 6/28/18 I've hit the drive-up twice recently. Service was fast and food was much better. Upping my rating to 3 stars but will bump it to 4 if future visits are this good. Not happy. I ordered 5 chicken fingerz, a basket of fries and a cup of coleslaw for takeout. The 'basket' of fries was a joke. There wasn't very many (I'd expect more for a 'regular' order) and they were greasy & mushy. Menu says the basket includes a Zax sauce. None to be found. The fingerz were dark in color and greasy. The menu says they come with a Zax sauce. None to be found. Coleslaw. Tasty. It's a small serving but just the right sweetness and creaminess. The place is new so it's very clean. They have the seemingly infinite choice soda machine and reasonable prices. In summary: I received fries and fingerz that should not have been served and didn't receive either of the two Zax sauces that should have been. read more

My family has been going to Zaxby's since they first opened here in Spring Hill. Staff is always friendly and polite. Our experience has been overwhelmingly positive. Until this past weekend that is. I ordered the boneless wing meal. The fries were in the spot that the boneless wings usually are. No big deal except that the boneless wings were put on top of the celery and the ranch dipping sauce which made the sauce unusable since it was covered in bbq. I had spicy fried mushrooms that were very soggy. Not crispy as usual. My wife had the baked chicken sandwich which was extremely salty. She couldn't even eat it. Her onion rings were cold. Not room temperature... literally cold as in still partially frozen. My son got the 10 piece bone in wing meal which only had 7 wings. Our drinks were all wrong as well. It was like a perfect storm of bad fast food. Like I said, it was the first time this happened so I'm not giving up on them, but when you spend nearly $30 for the family's fast food dinner, you expect better. This manager thinks he's cute. He hazes his employee in front of the costumers which is not acceptable!!!I don't know who the employee was, but I felt as embarrassed as she felt. That manager should be reprimanded for his behavior. If that's how they treat their employees I will definitely never step in their restaurant again.
