This place was great! Perfect stop after enjoying weeki wachee. We were served quickly- place was clean and the food was honestly fantastic. Were a little boujee but love a simple meal and this was just that. 10 wings- garlic blackened were incredible. Super delicious. I got a house salad with chicken- huge portion and also very good. Perfect place for pre/post Weeki Wachee river action. Great vibes, food, and service.

I absolutely love going here after a paddle down the river. Once you're off the river, you need a cold beer on draft or a Moscow mule in a copper cup! The food is good as well. The mushroom app is cheesy and delicious. The conch fritters are good as well. Not too much conch in them but that's par for the course. I would skip the blackened fish sandwich an go with the wings which were surprisingly amazing. read more

Easy to find location, with a nice view and adequate seating both inside and out. The menu features plenty of options for anyone to try and the prices are comparable. The service was great and the food came out quickly. The overall taste was lacking in flavor but the fries were delicious. The place could use some TLC and updates and cleaning , and the layout is pretty hectic and underused in my opinion. The seating in the back side was so tight, thankfully we came later in the day so no one else was super close to us. Overall an ok experience. Our waitress and the bar staff were definitely the highlight. Everyone was so friendly and spoke to us which made it even better. read more

I travel from The Villages to eat at Upper Deck. While admittedly it's a bit of a drive, I've never left unhappy about it. I'm stuck on UD's grouper sandwich. In fact, it's what I recommend to anyone. The fish portion is large, good tasting and hot! I like mine breaded/deep fried, but my girlfriend is super happy with their blackened version. The service staff has always been accommodating and a pleasure to dine with. Upper Deck sits on a tall second floor overlooking a river. There's a lot of watercraft parading past as we dine. Across the way is a small beach. One of these days I'll bring my trunks and take a dip. Parking has been good to me in the past and the lot situated across from the restaurant. So the drinks were good and the food was reasonably priced but the service was terrible. We waited probably 20 minutes for drinks and close to an hour for food. I can't say anything about the rest of my party but I got the shrimp/lobster dip and it was runny and cold. The wings were crispy but I'm not sure if my kid got them warm or not. Update May 2025: After reading some recent reviews, we were shocked because we had an amazing experience every day of our 4 night visit. We had lunch and dinner at Upper Deck. The food came out quickly and the drinks were flowing and amazing. Loved seeing some of the same servers and greeters and how friendly everyone was. Erin was our bartender on our second day and she is so wonderful. Made me my best Old Fashioned drink; definitely had to get two of those. She kept us laughing as we did her. It was wonderful. We also had Bry and Skyla wait on us with the same great experience. Wonderful servers and everyone spoke to us coming and going; welcoming us back the next time we visit on vacation. Not sure what all these people were having as a bad day but the reviews reflect their bad day and not this place or these people. Saturdays and Sundays are expected to be busy at almost any restaurant but add in the factor of being right on the beautiful Weeki Wachee River you can expect some additional waiting time. I say grab another drink and smile on. So many people would like to be sitting in your seat right now. We will see you all next year. Have a happy day. Average food! Takes two hours to get. Rude bartender. My husband said I just want my f* n food after waiting 1:45 minutes. Were told it could take up to hour. I was a little bit confused as to why the young lady working the front gave me alllll kinds of attitude when I asked her if I can sit by the water outside, because I had family in town from Ohio, and obviously they don't have this kind of thing up there. She said and I quote, "Oh, I can't do anything about that, they're with another server" and WALKED AWAY. I was aware we were with separate servers at that given time, but to give me that attitude! I should've left. I only stayed because my family from Ohio would've been sad to not be there. This is my second time being here and dealing with these young girls who think they can just throw shade at people. That's going to put this place under if it keeps up. We weren't the only ones they were rude to, either. I'm sure most of the people who come here are touristy people, too. Onto the food. The food was amazing. Very good. I got the Cod tacos, and upgraded to a Lobster bisque instead of fries. The bisque was very flavorful, and had lots of chunks of lobster. Very impressed. The tacos were really delicious. We sat down at 7:30pm We got our appetizer at 8:25 Alligator tail 2 orders , I think my cat would have walked away from. But at this point we were so hungry we ate it. Eh. The convenience factor is really what stands out. It wasn't far from our rental and it had a decent menu. Nothing was overly flavorful. My daughter had a burger and she loved it, so definitely get that. The fish tacos barely had more than flavored cabbage and the salad was lacking too. The service was great, no issues there, even after we had a water spill, they were attentive enough. My biggest issue is that the tables are close together, so when you're sitting overlooking the water, and the person begins to smoke behind you, it's a fun smell. Gross. Very bummed bc I told the waitress it wasn't good and she didn't offer to get me something else or remove something off my bill. in fact, she charged me $3 extra for soup without telling me soup was extra money for a side. she just named the soup as one of the sides when i asked what the sides were. my meal came with 2 sides. i picked the soup after she said it and then she never asked me for my 2nd side. so when i asked about it later she said "you didn't give me a second side. you just wanted one." i said, you never asked me about my 2nd side, i would like it now please bc the rest of this food isn't good and i'd like to be able to eat something bc im hungry and i'm about to pay $60 for all of this. then she gets me the most flavorless coldest potato salad you could imagine. i wouldn't have wrote this review if the waitress offered to get me something else or take something off my bill. but instead she blamed me for not picking my 2nd side (she forgot to circle back and ask me, she just started taking my friend's order after i said soup) and didn't offer to give me my 2nd side until i asked her about it TWO different times. weird experience for sure. read more

We arrived, were seated properly waited 10 min until I could t take it anymore so I went to the bar to as the bartender to please send our server over. When she got there we instantly ordered. A side salad, lb of the boneless wings, quesadillas and mozzarella sticks.. all appetizers maybe 10-15 tops to drop food ... took over an hour to get food! We asked the server to bring the food out as it came up in the window, nope.. she brought it all out at once, after I went up and checked on the food. Server never gave us a heads up they were running slow in kitchen or anything smh. When the food finally came out the boneless wings were warm (not hot) wayyy too salty and the rest the food just wasn't on par. After experiencing cabin fever after hurricane Italian, we wanted to get out and sit in the sunshine with some friends - and this place was perfect overlooking the river. We even had the local dolphin come by to say hello. We sat outside in the shade and enjoyed some adult beverages for an early dinner.
