I searched for someplace close by and came across Affordable Automotive Repair. I gave them a call and they said they could get me in right away. Tim was fantastic and friendly. Gave me a quote before the work was done. It was reasonable. My window works great now! However the reason for my top notch review is the customer service I received. I received a text message thanking me for my visit and that they appreciate my business. I received a follow up text a month or so later asking how my vehicle was running and to make sure everything was still good. This blew me away! I've never had a business follow up like that before. It is refreshing to know that a business values its customers this way. I will be taking my vehicle back for any needs it may have.

Had my there at 7 am, I didn't hear anything until 11 where he called, said that the brakes all needed to be done and Rotors. Didn't hear anything so called at 10 to 5. He thought it was gonna be really close and he would like to keep it till the next day. So I waited until 1015 the next day and. Allied and he said the there was noise in back driver side and that the emergency brake was broke or something was wrong withit so he couldn't send. He couldn't honestly send it home until That was fixed and I said how much is that he said 40 $, and typically to replace an emergency brake it's $200- $400 I'm wondering if they didn't do something wrong that made them replace it. so I'm guessing that his mechanic broke it and I'm paying for it. It is now 1pm and I still have not heard from Ron, the repair manager. I am going to drive over there and see what's status, extremely disappointed in this repair shop. A four hour job has now taken 16 hours. When I talked to the mechanic, and my truck was from Minnesota, said he had to grind off the rust around the brakes. I do feel better, seems everything was good on the job and they didn't charge extra after initial estimate. I do believe some was my part, thinking it was an afternoon job and when it took two days, it cut into my weekend plans, but I also didn't tell shop I needed truck Friday morning.

Front guys didn't listen to what I easily described and told mechanics something different. I couldn't have been more clear on my description of what I was hearing. Charged me $320 for it, then when I took it back in because they, of course, didn't get my issue fixed, they ignored me again. Mechanic that jumped in so I could point out what I'm hearing, said they were telling him something different. They then tried charging me an extra $410, to which they did end up refunding because the second round didn't work either. After they finally got a diagnosis, it was going to cost me $1,600. Seems like they intentionally ignored me to keep taking my $$, otherwise, why not tell the mechanic what it was I very clearly described?

I called the shop on a Monday and they did not get to it until Friday, that was the easy part of all this nightmare situation. The car doesn't crank over and I was referred by a mechanic to take it to a shop that works on the electrical components of the car, so I did. I came by a few times to the shop to check on the progress and the car was still parked at the same location. When I got there and tried to explain what was wrong with my car I got different answers with one of the mechanics stating it could be the starter and the mechanic stated the engine was seized. I truly believe they did not move the car from where I left it and charged me $170 for the diagnostic. Lastly, the most disturbing act by this company was they intentionally opened my key fob and damaged the microchip, costing an additional $280, when I called the locksmith they stated someone had opened the fob and dismantled the component. They admitted fault and paid for the replacement key.
