To make matters worse, the hot drink was barely a latte; it was essentially a cappuccino based on the absurd amount of foam on top. Plus, the milk itself was ruined. There's a certain temperature and texture for steaming milk, and this was clearly burnt milk that had been frothed way too aggressively. Aesthetically, the café is lovely--it's cute and a great spot to work from home. My recommendation? Skip the espresso drinks. Maybe try the matcha or a pastry instead. For example, I often order a brewed tea with 4 tea bags. Once, it only came with 2 bags in the cup, but I'm pretty sure they steeped 2, tossed the bags, and then put another 2 in the cup for when I picked it up (so the cup wouldn't be more bag than tea). They've also taken very ample COVID-19 measures to ensure customer AND staff safety! The location is quite spacious, which is great for social distancing measures to be implemented.
