I really wish this one had that feature, but, since it's in a convenient spot, I decided to try it. It's located in a very busy plaza at a busy intersection; however, it's still easily accessible, and has plenty of parking. It's at the very edge facing Weston Road, right beside the Bank of Montreal. It's a pretty small and sparse setup. It's lighter and brighter than other Starbucks locations. There are only a couple of tables and a few spindly chairs, no comfy chairs. The ambience here is not like the usual, sit and chill for with your friends (or laptop) while savouring your treats. Having said that, you could certainly take one of the 2 spots if available. They still have a merchandise section. It might be the first time I've noticed tourist Starbucks merch with Toronto or Canada emblazoned on it for souvenirs. They are very well staffed, and we were cheerily greeted by more than one as we entered. I didn't see a complete list of all the currently offered drinks with their prices for all sizes, so the staff helped by going to the register to look everything up. I don't like it when I can't just look at a proper menu and price listing, so, no drive-thru notwithstanding, that's a demerit for the rating. There are 2 unisex restrooms. Judging by the cleanliness of the dining room, counters, etc., I expect them decent/in good order. Since we were there just for a takeaway order, we'll probably return as it's conveniently located on a current route. I hope the lack of display isn't becoming a widespread Starbucks trend.

After dinner, I decided to drop by this Starbucks that was next door to see if I could pick up a treat. Looks are deceiving. This cafe looks small when you stand in front of it. However, when you open the door, there's a huge seating area on the left. It's a large cafe. Maybe it's because it doesn't have a drive-thru. There were lots of folks seated, sipping on a beverage, munching on baked goods, and chatting. It looked like a cool place to chill. It felt relaxed. I stood in line behind a couple of customers. It allowed me to figure out what I wanted. I looked at the lemon loaf slice in the display case. I hadn't had one in ages. Okay, I'll get it. Well, all that changed when I spotted the snowman cookies. I have had one so far this winter. It was the one with red earmuffs and a scarf. I spotted a blue version. I wanted it instead. I got the friendliest, cheerful woman when I got to the order area. I grabbed the snowman with the blue earmuffs and scarf. I let her know that I was here for the snowman cookie and that I'm late to the party. She smiled. She let me know that the Valentine's Day heart-shaped sugar cookies were out, too. Oh, no! She said that I should go with the snowman cookie since I had my heart set on it. I agreed. More choices weren't good here. I got my Starbucks card scanned off my phone. Done! She handed me my cookie. I thanked her and happily left with my treat. I had it today. It was buttery, sugary, and yummy. I don't visit Starbucks as much as I used to. I'm so glad that the snowman cookie still exists. I have had it for years and the yearly tradition to devour at least one continues. I had a great experience. The second time they forgot to to add whip cream. If they could perfect the service they could be a 5 star location
