i'd give a zero star if i could. the worst experience ever from a glorified coffee shop! started by purchasing a valentine gift card via the drive thru and my husband was given a christmas gift card!! wtf? do you know it's valentines tomorrow, why don't you ask? after noticing, he parked, i waited and he walked over to the drive thru window where they were nice to change it but guy offered no valentine version again even after mentioning it! he got back to the car and it wasn't a valentine version. he told me they didn't have any. i went inside to try to get a refund but CASSY, the big fish in the little pond, refused to refund the card. dismissed me to call customer service where "they MIGHT be able to help" or go to another location because i walked in screaming while trying to, once again, rectify the issue and get a refund! i wouldn't say i was screaming but i didn't have a nice tone after being fed up with going to buy a simple gift card!!! how hard can it be? nobody would be happy if they were treated this way and had to pay for something they didn't want. i wanted a gift card for valentines. simple! she wasnt going to refund me and was going to call the police if i didn't leave. ridiculous!!! i look over to the cash, THEY HAD A MILLION VALENTINE CARDS RIGHT THERE AT THE CASH!!! i asked her if she would change it to a valentine version and also refused!!! omg. i left, got back to the car and explained to my husband who was waiting in the car, he said that was all bullshit! the guy that worked there offered no valentine option when he asked at the window. at this point, we both went inside and my husband confronted the guy that helped him for the valentine card and he said no problem, he would change it to a valentine version. nice! THEN comes out... CASSY! she refused to change the card because i was there with my husband. even though he was trying to fix this, even after explaining to her that there was probably a miscommunication. she would change the card for him if i left. LOL wtf is the difference if i'm there or not? that's what you call control crazy! crazy changed the card for my husband after i left however, the problem remains as the staff is lacking to provide proper customer service. there wouldn't have been an issue if they listened, liked their job, had a strong lead or didn't have an ego. I guess it's true what they say. you get served whatever at the drive thru window. the workers don't even care... lesson learned! do it yourself when you need something done right! CASSY, bahahaha get off your high horse girl... your day job is working at starbucks! if i could upload a video, i would but i'll have to leave you with this mug! cassy, "have a starbucks day!"

A nice standalone Starbucks in a busy intersection Yonge and Steeles. All the amenities includes parking (limited), quick mobile order, drive thru, ample seating options and even Clover Reserve! The patio area is huge but a little messy. I like those cushioned loungers but they are dirty. Aside for that, thereare quite a few umbrellas for shade and being West facing, it does get a lot of sun. Wifi signal constant and strong even in the patio area. Not a bad option when you in the hood.

One of the few Starbucks that have a drive through.

I've been a loyal customer of Starbucks ever since I was a teen. Why? Because they have delicious coffees (hot and cold), delicious snacks (kale chips, creme brulee almonds, Italian black truffle almonds, mini vanilla scones and madeleines), yummy sandwiches (double smoked bacon/cheddar and egg/bacon & gouda with egg/roasted tomato & mozzarella panini with spinach and basil pesto) and last but never least exceptional customer service. If you experience poor customer service and it's not resolved with the on site manager then write to corporate and you'll be rewarded usually with a free drink. Often if they make a mistake with your drink then they'll let you keep the mistake and make you your correct drink. Also they have a reward system that rewards you on your birthday and gives you freebies the more you visit. The Starbucks here in Canada are different from the States because here most of the stores don't have a drive through, they're smaller in size and the staff are not as warm. This site however is exceptional because of their enormous and well stocked display cases, large indoor and outdoor seating, the presence of a drive though, and their friendly and efficient staff. I ordered a iced hazelnut with whipped cream and the barista forgot the whipped cream. When I pointed it out he apologized, added the whipped cream and gave me my drink with a warm smile - no muss, no fuss, no evil look, no guilt trip. This is the best Starbucks hands down in the area.

Opened recently. This is my first time. It's my favorite so far. More brew selections than the usual starbucks. New furniture. Nice spacey decor. Drive thru. Wonderful service. Free WiFi. Best Starbucks!

    It's pretty nice here

I came to this starbucks early on a Sunday day morning. It wasn't busy since it was do early so it was nice and empty. Drive thru: The drive thru was very busy. It's one of the few starbucks with a drive thru. Seating situ: This place is nice. The seating lots of little tables and chairs, a big long bar with high seats, wing chairs. Lots of room. There's also a big patio. Along with tables and chairs they have two big patio couches. Nice. Staff: Lots of staff. They seem nice. One really gabby slow woman. Short, dark hair and glasses. Avoid her if you don't want to be sucked into a conversation you have to awkwardly just walkaway from to stop. Food: The tall red haired woman made me the best latte I've ever had. I'm officially coming every Sunday morning to get one from her. Also got a breakfast sandwich. Was good as usual. WiFi: Sucks. Never really works when I'm here. This might explain why it's always kinda empty. All in all. This is a great place for coming to hang out. Comfy with great food.

It's raining and cold outside but I had to take my espresso outside of this Starbucks store. Two staffs wouldn't allow me to stay indoor to enjoy my espresso today. I'm a triple-vaccinated US visitor but do not have Canadian QR code. They insisted that no QR code no sitting but they're ignorant of the Ontario government law that allows out of country visitors who cannot legally obtain Canadian QR code to prove his vaccination by showing appropriate (see attached) documents that I was ready to show them. I've told them about this but they will have none of it! embarrassing me! made me look like a fool in front of other patrons. Btw, I was able to sit inside of this same Sbucks two days ago when another staff allowed me to stay inside. So today's response was both surprising and upsetting. Well anyhow I'm going back to States in a couple of days and will enjoy Sbucks indoors there. No QR code needed there! I like Starbucks but staffs in this location need to be trained better; both in rules-wise and in being cordial to their patrons.

The service is consistently warm, and the pastry case is hard to resist. We've tried many of their cakes, and the blackcurrant queen cake is hands down our favorite--tart, elegant, and just sweet enough. Their salted caramel croissant is beautifully laminated and filled with just the right amount of caramel. In fact, their croissants across the board are solid--flaky, tender, and buttery without being greasy. The sourdough bread is excellent, and the espresso drinks are reliably strong and well-crafted. It may look like Paris inside, but don't let that inspire your inner Francophile--the staff are lovely, but no one's following your French. Still, this is the kind of place that keeps regulars coming back. We're definitely among them.

We shared the cream & crumb cheesecake (simple, classic, and incredibly creamy!) and tiramichoux (think a tiramisu profiterole - such a fun twist!). Looking forward to my next visit already :)

Tim Hortons is a Canadian chain specializing in both coffee and baked goods, founded by hockey player Tim Horton and businessman Ron Joyce in 1964. While I don't go for the coffee, every now when visiting Canada, I'll stop by a Tim Hortons for hot chocolate and a donut. A few days ago when I was visiting Toronto, I met up with a cousin at the Tim Hortons at the Promenade in Thornhill, and while she got a coffee and a donut, I enjoyed a hot chocolate and a donut. We had the opportunity to order through a kiosk or in person, and we opted for an in-person order which included a discount through the app. The drinks and donuts were ready rather quickly, and while there was limited seating in the Tim Hortons itself, we sat in the food court area just outside of the Tim Hortons. The staff were nice and seemed to know what they were doing. The hot chocolate was tasty and chocolatey while the donut (a Chocolate Dip Donut) had a thicker dip than I am used to, but it was delicious! This particular location is open daily from 9 AM to 6 PM, and there is no drive-through option as it is in a food court of a mall. On the website (https://www.timhortons.ca), you can find menus, locations, catering and franchisee options, delivery, and promotions. Such promotions include Tims x Reese's, where you can get a Peanut Butter Chocolate Iced Capp or any of their other products made with Reese's. Plus, there are items with Fall flavors like Pumpkin Spice Iced Capp, Pumpkin Spice Donut, Pumpkin Spice Latte, Pumpkin Spice Muffin, and Pumpkin Spice Iced Latte. There are also new Matcha Lattes. If ordering on the app, you can also order hockey trading cards and/or a binder. Love that they are a half cafe vibe but also serve a full menu of food and even have wine and cocktails. The interior is sleek and modern and the staff are friendly but as other reviews mentioned can be a little forgetful ... sometimes we had to remind them more than once of a drink or a small request. However the staff are very sweet and always seem to be excited about their food and drinks and love talking about anything new on their menu ... really enjoyed the croissants that comes with pistachio, chocolate, and I believe Nutella, and that they can make immediately for you if they've run out of a certain flavor. They have pastries, wine, a big coffee menu, sandwiches, and pasta. There's some street parking and if you don't mind walking across the street there's plenty of spots at Bayview Mall. They also have free underground parking but it's a bit of a guessing game to get to the first time ... if you go behind their building parallel to Sheppard is Thomas Clark Way. If you're facing north towards their building on Thomas Clark Way then the parking driveway is part of the building to the left of the church, the parking garage door is actually perpendicular to Thomas Clark Way. There's a few parking areas on that road so it's hard to find the first time but once you get it then it's really convenient especially in the winter - the restaurant is right there. Highly recommended for the great staff and casual yet elegant vibe.

After trying my vanilla iced latte and my partner's macchiato... I wondered if this place might actually be better known for food or matcha, based on what I've seen in other reviews - the coffee was not good. The espresso beans seemed to be over-roasted, which were quite bitter for our liking as opposed to something more subtly chocolatey and nutty. My iced latte also got watery pretty quickly as the ice melted it seemed, and ended up tasting more like the kind of latte you'd get from a fast-food chain (or the espresso shot was way too long). A bit of a letdown, especially since the two fairly small drinks came to about $18. The space itself is cozy, and I really like the vinyl collection (which earned the 2 stars). That said, the records are noticeably pricey compared to typical vinyl shops like Sonic Boom. A lot of them -- even ones with just Side A -- were priced at $55 and up. I didn't cross-check the barcodes on Discogs, but while I love the curation (especially the focus on Japanese jazz and city pop -- really cool stuff), I find it hard to believe all of them are rare pressings worthy of those $55-to-several-hundred-dollar price tags. As an avid collector myself, I wouldn't come here to buy the records. Service was friendly.
